Chapter 796 Infiltration Operation

Night, like a vast sheet of black silk, silently enveloped the entire world. Only a few faint starlights pierced the clouds, casting a few stinging rays of light, as if they were also wary of the thrilling action about to unfold. Jiang Zhi, clad in a tight black dress, moved swiftly and agilely, like an elf in the dark night. Her delicate face now exuded a cold and resolute expression, her eyes like the twinkling cold stars in the night sky, fixed intently on the mysterious organization's base ahead.

Beside her, several equally skilled allies were already poised for action. Leading the charge was a man named Zhao Feng, a burly figure whose muscular form clenched beneath his clothes, seemingly imbued with boundless strength. A former special forces soldier, he possessed extensive combat experience, exceptional fighting skills, and a mastery of all types of weaponry. Then there was Lin Xiao, agile as a leopard, adept at concealment, darting effortlessly through darkness. His masterful stealth skills had repeatedly enabled him to obtain crucial intelligence for the team. And finally, there was Chen Yu, a master hacker expert in electronic devices. Behind his black-rimmed glasses, his eyes gleamed with a shrewd glint. His most powerful weapon was a custom-built computer, capable of easily piercing layers of electronic defenses.

Jiang Zhi gently raised his hand, silencing them. Everyone immediately understood, crouching down and slowly advancing along the shadows of the stronghold's walls. The surroundings were eerily quiet, the only sounds being their soft footsteps and rapid breathing. The stronghold was surrounded by various surveillance devices, and infrared scanners, like pairs of vigilant eyes, closely guarded the area. Jiang Zhi frowned slightly, observing the surveillance system's scanning patterns intently, silently calculating the time difference.

As the first infrared scanner's beam faded, Jiang Zhi flashed, darting towards the wall like a streak of black lightning. She tapped the ground with her toes, leveraging the momentum to leap upwards. With precise grasps of the wall, she flipped over and landed securely inside. The entire movement was seamless, without a sound. Zhao Feng and the others quickly followed suit, scaling the wall and entering.

After entering the stronghold, they immediately dispersed, following a pre-planned route. Jiang Zhi, drawing on his previous in-depth knowledge of the mysterious organization's internal structure, led Lin Xiao towards the data room. Zhao Feng covered the rear, keeping a vigilant eye on any enemies that might appear at any moment. Chen Yu stopped in a secluded corner, turned on his computer, and began disrupting the stronghold's communication system and some surveillance cameras, creating more favorable conditions for his teammates' operations.

The path ahead was uneven, with patrolling guards occasionally passing by. Jiang Zhi and Lin Xiao, relying on their keen hearing and exceptional stealth skills, deftly avoided them time and again. Once, a group of guards nearly brushed past them. Jiang Zhi held her breath, pressed against the wall, and calmly observed their every move. Her heartbeat was steady and strong, unfazed. In her hand, she clutched a short dagger, ready to strike if spotted. Fortunately, the guards didn't notice anything unusual and gradually retreated into the distance.

Finally, they reached the door to the data room. It was tightly shut, and the electronic combination lock beside it flashed a cold blue light, as if challenging them. Jiang Zhi crouched down, carefully examining the lock's model and construction, a confident smile playing on her lips. From the pouch at her waist, she pulled a set of specialized tools, carefully refined based on her experience cracking similar combination locks.

Jiang Zhi's slender fingers deftly manipulated the tool, carefully inserting a thin wire into the combination lock's slot. She closed her eyes, relying on the subtle touch of her fingertips to feel the structural changes within the lock cylinder. Her mind raced, recalling all the information she had ever encountered about this type of combination lock. Every possible combination flashed through her mind. As time passed, beads of sweat rolled down her forehead, dripping onto the ground with tiny splashes of water.

Suddenly, Jiang Zhi's eyes lit up. She twisted her finger gently, and with a soft click, the combination lock unlocked. She breathed a sigh of relief and exchanged a glance with Lin Xiao, eyes filled with joy and determination. They gently pushed open the document room door, and the combined smell of stale paper and electronic equipment filled the air.

The archive room was filled with rows of tall bookshelves, densely packed with confidential documents. Jiang Zhi's heart raced with excitement, knowing they might hold crucial clues to uncovering the true nature of the mysterious organization. She quickly assigned Lin Xiao a task: "Lin Xiao, go to that bookshelf over there and focus on searching for documents related to the organization's senior management structure and recent major operations. I'll be here. If you find anything useful, take it away immediately." Lin Xiao nodded and vanished among the bookshelves in a flash.

Jiang Zhi immediately plunged into her frantic search. Her sharp eyes quickly scanned the titles and labels of the documents, flipping through them one after another. Suddenly, her eye was drawn to a document labeled "Core Confidential - Strategic Planning." She eagerly opened it, revealing a detailed account of the mysterious organization's conspiracy plans targeting Longguo's business community over the coming months. These included how to manipulate the stock market, suppress competitors, and use Jiang Lingchuan and others to sow chaos and economic turmoil in the country, thereby achieving their ambitions of profiting and controlling the situation.

Jiang Zhi's eyes burned with rage. She knew the importance of this document; if it fell into the hands of a mysterious organization, the consequences would be disastrous. She quickly stuffed the document into her backpack and continued searching for other key information. Meanwhile, Lin Xiao also found several highly valuable emails linking the mysterious organization to collusion with foreign forces.
