Amidst the flames of war and the thick smoke of gunpowder, the mysterious organization's headquarters resembled a dark behemoth, spewing deadly flames, trapping Jiang Zhi, Shen Qingchen, and their allies in this deadly place. Bullets whizzed past like dense raindrops, each passing like the whisper of death, playing a melody of despair in everyone's ears.
Jiang Zhi crouched low, weaving through the hail of gunfire, her gaze steady and calm. The medical kit in her hands jolted as she moved, but she never dropped it. Wounded men continued to fall around her, their agonized groans mingling and piercing her heart. Without a moment's pause, she quickly crouched beside an ally wounded in the abdomen. She expertly opened the medical kit and retrieved a hemostat and bandage. Warm and sticky blood splattered across her face, but she remained oblivious, her eyes fixed intently on the wound, her hands steadily working to contain the bleeding.
"Hold on!" Jiang Zhi whispered to the wounded man. Though her voice was low, it radiated undeniable strength. With her efforts, the man's bleeding gradually came under control, and his expression softened slightly. Just as she was about to stand up to assist the next wounded, a bullet suddenly flew past her scalp, stirring up a gust of searing wind. Startled, Jiang Zhi instinctively crouched down, her eyes quickly scanning her surroundings for new dangers.
Meanwhile, Shen Qingchen led the assault team, like a sharp steel knife, piercing the enemy's core defenses. They pressed forward, each advance coming at a heavy price. Shen Qingchen's submachine gun spurted flames, his eyes burning with rage and determination, as if to incinerate all the darkness before him. As his brothers fell one by one, his heart bled, yet his steps remained unwavering, only to grow even more valiant, charging deeper into the depths of the mysterious organization.
However, the mysterious organization's defenses were as solid as a rock, and their counterattacks were like a surging tide, wave after wave, becoming increasingly frantic. Shen Qingchen and his companions gradually fell into a difficult situation, trapped in a small space, surrounded by enemy firepower points. Their range of movement was shrinking, and the number of casualties continued to climb. The ammunition was about to run out. With every pull of the trigger, Shen Qingchen could feel the bullets in the gun chamber dwindling, and an unprecedented sense of crisis enveloped him.
As the situation worsened, Jiang Zhi, while dodging enemy attacks, suddenly recalled a piece of intelligence she had obtained from a branch office regarding the mysterious organization's defense system. At the time, the intelligence had seemed obscure, a jumble of codes and circuit diagrams, but now, at this critical juncture, it flashed through her mind like lightning, and she instantly grasped the key.
Jiang Zhi ignored the danger around her and crouched down, rushing towards Lin Yu, one of their allies' most skilled technicians. Lin Yu was hiding behind an abandoned bunker, clutching his computer, attempting to hack into some of the mysterious organization's secondary systems, hoping to secure a chance of survival. Jiang Zhi grabbed him and said eagerly, "Lin Yu, I've got an idea! Look at this!" She pulled the crumpled, blood-stained intelligence document from her bosom.
Lin Yu took the intelligence and his eyes lit up instantly. He quickly browsed the contents and a look of surprise appeared on his face: "Jiang Zhi, this is the core control node information of their defense system! If we can invade here, we have a chance to disrupt the entire defense deployment."
Jiang Zhi nodded heavily: "I know, but time is running out, we must act immediately."
The two quickly crouched behind their cover, turned on their computers, and began typing away. The sounds of battle and shouting around them faded away, leaving only the flashing code and pulsing data on the screen. Jiang Zhi, relying on his exceptional memory, relayed the key information from the intelligence to Lin Yu, while Lin Yu, with his superb skills, quickly compiled the intrusion program.
However, the invasion was far from smooth. The mysterious organization's defense system was incredibly complex, layered with layers of security. Every breach triggered a new alarm. The sirens echoed through the headquarters, like the roar of a demon, terrifying everyone. The enemy seemed to sense their intentions and intensified their firepower, sweeping in the direction of Jiang Zhi and Lin Yu.
"No, if this goes on we will be beaten into pieces!" Lin Yu shouted, his forehead covered with sweat and his eyes revealing a hint of anxiety.
Jiang Zhi gritted her teeth and looked around, realizing that the bunker they were in was already shaky and could be destroyed by enemy fire at any time. She was extremely anxious, and suddenly saw the entrance to an underground drainage pipe not far away. She thought to herself, "Lin Yu, let's go over there!"
The two men braved the hail of gunfire and rushed towards the sewer pipe. Bullets flew around them, sending up clouds of dust. Jiang Zhi stumbled and nearly fell, but Lin Yu, quick-witted, caught her. Finally, they made it into the sewer pipe, temporarily avoiding direct enemy fire.
The drainage pipe was dark and damp, filled with a pungent stench. Jiang Zhi and Lin Yu ignored all this and continued to operate their computers, relying on the dim light of their flashlights. Meanwhile, the battle outside intensified, and the situation facing Shen Qingchen and the others became increasingly difficult. Every passing minute and second felt like a huge rock weighing down everyone's hearts, making it difficult to breathe.
"Almost there, almost there!" Lin Yu shouted excitedly, his fingers flying across the keyboard even faster. Jiang Zhi stared at the screen, not daring to blink, praying silently in his heart.
After a fierce enemy attack, Shen Qingchen's men were in dire straits. With their ammunition nearly exhausted and their men gravely wounded, they were cornered, surrounded by the ferocious faces of the enemy. Shen Qingchen clenched his gun, ready for a final stand. His eyes held no fear, only concern for Jiang Zhi and hatred for the enemy.
