Chapter 828 Fierce Confrontation

The dawn light had not yet completely penetrated the clouds, and the city was still shrouded in a hazy silence, but Jiang Zhi and Shen Qingchen had already led their allies, like a sharp arrow ready to be fired, straight towards the lair of the mysterious organization.

Jiang Zhi, clad in a tight black combat uniform, stood swiftly, her eyes radiating determination and courage. Her long hair, neatly tied back, a few strands drifting in the breeze, added to her heroic spirit. In her hand, she clutched a custom-made dagger, its gleaming cold light a trusted companion honed over years of life-or-death struggles. Shen Qingchen, clad in a dark gray trench coat, walked with a steady, powerful stride, his every gesture exuding a commanding presence. His gaze was stern, as if he could discern the enemy's every move. The pistol tucked at his waist was his last resort, a weapon to protect his loved ones and comrades.

They quietly approached the mysterious organization's base, a seemingly abandoned factory surrounded by overgrown weeds, towering walls, and barbed wire fencing studded with sharp barbs. However, Jiang Zhi keenly sensed the danger lurking in the shadows, with countless vigilant eyes.

"Everyone, be careful and follow the plan." Jiang Zhi whispered. Although his voice was soft, it was like a steady force that reached everyone's heart.

Suddenly, a sharp alarm pierced the sky, shattering the morning tranquility. The mysterious organization had clearly been prepared. Suddenly, the factory lights blazed brightly, and a group of armed men in black uniforms surged out like a tide. They were armed with sophisticated weapons, their expressions grim, and their well-trained formations quickly deployed, surrounding Jiang Zhi and the others.

"Humph, you're well prepared indeed." Shen Qingchen snorted coldly, his eyes showing no fear at all, instead igniting a blazing fighting spirit. He flashed and rushed towards the enemy first, firing his pistol accurately, each shot hitting the enemy's vital points and opening a breakthrough for his teammates.

Jiang Zhi followed closely behind, her movements nimble and agile, weaving through the enemy horde like a ghost. Her dagger flew up and down, crushing enemies wherever it touched. Her moves were sharp and precise, as if she could anticipate every attack, deftly avoiding the enemy's sharp edge and striking directly at their vital points.

"Be careful on the left!" an ally exclaimed. Jiang Zhi dodged to the side and a bullet flew past her cheek. She rolled over and when she stood up, she had already thrown the dagger at the attacker, hitting him in the chest.

Amid the din of battle, Jiang Zhi caught a glimpse of a teammate injured and lying on the ground, blood gushing from his thigh. Without hesitation, she rushed over, using the abandoned containers nearby as cover and quickly pulling a first aid kit from her backpack.

"Don't be afraid, I'm here," Jiang Zhi reassured her injured teammate, her voice steady and resolute. Her hands, like nimble butterflies, expertly cut away the clothing surrounding the wound, cleaned it, disinfected it, stopped the bleeding, and bandaged it. With one smooth movement, she had stopped her teammate's bleeding in an instant.

"Thank you Sister Jiang, I can still fight!" The teammate gritted his teeth, his eyes full of determination.

"Okay, let's fight together!" Jiang Zhi patted his shoulder and joined the battle again.

At this time, Shen Qingchen was also caught in a tough fight. The enemy seemed to sense his threat and sent several experts to surround him. Each of these people was extraordinary in skill, their moves were fierce, and they worked together in perfect harmony. Shen Qingchen leaned against a wall, his eyes as sharp as torches, calmly observing the enemy's movements.

An enemy took the initiative and launched a fierce straight punch towards Shen Qingchen's face. Shen Qingchen dodged to the side and kicked the opponent in the abdomen. However, just as he dodged the blow, two more people came from behind, one slashing at his neck with a knife, and the other kicked his knee. Shen Qingchen bent down and leaned back, narrowly avoiding the attack. The pistol in his hand hit one of the wrists and took away the opponent's weapon.

"It's not that easy to trap me!" Shen Qingchen shouted, and the dagger in his hand and the long sword he had seized worked together, and for a time he was fighting several enemies on equal terms. Every attack he made was filled with the momentum of burning his boats, and every defense was as solid as a rock. Although he was injured, he had no intention of retreating.

On the battlefield, smoke thickened, shouts of killing, gunfire, and the clash of metal intertwined into a brutal war song. Jiang Zhi and Shen Qingchen's allies also bravely fought against the enemy. They came from diverse backgrounds, but were united by a common belief. Some were family members who had been persecuted by a mysterious organization and were determined to seek revenge at all costs; others were heroes with a heart for justice, unable to tolerate the evil deeds of the mysterious organization, and voluntarily joined the fight.

"Everyone stay calm and don't lose your composure!" Jiang Zhi shouted loudly while fighting. She knew very well that in this chaotic situation, team cohesion is crucial.

As the battle continued, the mysterious organization's firepower became increasingly fierce, and they seemed to have a steady stream of reinforcements arriving. Jiang Zhi was secretly anxious, knowing that this was not a solution. She had to find the enemy's command center as soon as possible and disrupt their deployment.

"Chen Qingchen, I'm going to explore the way and find their command center. You stay here and hold on!" Jiang Zhi took advantage of the brief break and rushed towards Shen Qingchen and shouted.

"No, it's too dangerous. I'll go with you!" Shen Qingchen's face was full of worry. How could he let Jiang Zhi take the risk alone?

"There's no time to argue. We need your command here. Don't worry, I'll be fine." Jiang Zhi looked at him firmly, without any doubt.

Shen Qingchen knew Jiang Zhi's temper very well, gritted his teeth, nodded and agreed: "Be sure to be careful!"

Jiang Zhi turned and rushed deeper into the factory. Along the way, she cleverly avoided enemy patrols and, with her keen observation of the terrain and agility, gradually approached what she suspected was the command center.

On her way, she encountered a closed iron gate, heavily guarded by two guards. Jiang Zhi hid in the shadows, observing the enemy's movements. She picked up a stone and threw it into the distance. The sound of the stone hitting the ground attracted the attention of the guards, who, guns held vigilantly, slowly walked towards the source of the sound. Jiang Zhi seized the opportunity and rushed forward, swiftly slashing the dagger across the throats of the two men, the entire process silent and unnoticed.
