The morning light gently fell on the blossoming garden of the family estate. Jiang Zhi and Shen Qingchen stood together, their eyes following the children playing on the lawn with deep affection. A gentle breeze blew by, carrying wisps of floral fragrance, ruffling their hair and stirring their hearts. At this moment, their hearts were filled with longing and expectations for the future.
Shen Qingchen slightly tightened his arms around Jiang Zhi, as if to embed her more deeply into his life. His chin rested lightly on the top of Jiang Zhi's head, and his voice was calm and gentle after experiencing vicissitudes of life. He whispered softly: "In the future, there is still such a long way to go, but as long as I think about being with you and these lovely children, I feel full of strength. We must create more beautiful memories together, watch the children grow up day by day, and firmly guard the glory of the family." Jiang Zhi looked up at Shen Qingchen, tears flashing in her eyes. It was a light of happiness and touching. The corners of her mouth raised, revealing a gentle and firm smile, and nodded heavily.
Recalling those thrilling and perilous days, every scene is etched in their hearts like a brand. From the initial thrilling confrontations with the mysterious organization, the difficult acquisition of intelligence, the secret infiltration of the stronghold, to the life-or-death struggle in desperate situations, every step was extremely difficult. Jiang Zhi remembered that in that dim secret room, as the documents revealing the truth were unfolded page by page, shock and anger overwhelmed her like a tide, but the flame of justice in her heart burned even more fiercely. Shen Qingchen also could not forget the anxiety that burned in his heart when he saw Jiang Zhi surrounded by the enemy. He rushed into the enemy camp without hesitation, wanting to use his body to protect her from all danger. Those pasts, intertwined with blood and tears, love and hatred, are their most precious treasures in this life, and they make the peace they now have seem even more hard-earned.
The children's crisp laughter interrupted their thoughts. Jiang Zhi and Shen Qingchen smiled at each other and slowly walked towards the children. The little ones were chasing each other among the flowers, waving their small nets, trying to catch the fluttering butterflies. Their daughter Jiaojiao was like a nimble fawn, her long black hair flying as she ran, her rosy face brimming with innocent joy. Her eyes were large and bright, as if hiding glittering stars. She was staring intently at a butterfly perched on a flower petal, approaching cautiously, net in hand ready to launch. Their son Ruirui was like a little explorer, sturdy and energetic. Although still young, he exuded a keen spirit. He cheered his sister on and occasionally rushed over to give her some advice, his earnest expression making people laugh.
Jiang Zhi squatted down, opened his arms, and took Jiaojiao who ran over into his arms. He rubbed her little face affectionately, and said with a smile: "Baby, are you having fun?" Jiaojiao nodded vigorously, looked at her mother with bright eyes, and said in a baby voice: "I'm happy, Mom. There are so many beautiful butterflies here. I really want to catch one to raise." Jiang Zhi gently pinched her little nose and explained patiently: "Butterflies are the elves of nature. They are most beautiful when they fly freely among the flowers. Let's leave them here, okay? This way you can see them every day when you come to the garden." Jiaojiao blinked, nodded as if she understood, and ran away happily to continue chasing butterflies.
Shen Qingchen watched this scene, his eyes full of love. He walked over, picked up Ruirui, put him on his shoulders, and said jokingly, "Boy, did you protect your sister well?" Ruirui patted his chest and answered proudly, "Of course, Dad, I'm awesome. With me here, my sister will be fine!" Shen Qingchen laughed heartily, and his laughter echoed over the garden. He took Ruirui for a walk in the garden, pointing to the gorgeous flowers and telling his son the names and habits of different flowers. Ruirui listened with great interest, and asked some novel questions from time to time. The interaction between father and son was warm and interesting.
In the afternoon, the sun became a little scorching, and the family returned to the villa in the manor. The living room was spacious and bright, and the decoration was warm and elegant. Jiang Zhi walked into the kitchen, put on an apron, and prepared to cook a delicious lunch for her family. She handled the ingredients skillfully, and poured her love into every dish. Shen Qingchen also followed in. He gently hugged Jiang Zhi from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder, and said with a smile: "Let me help you, let's do it together." Jiang Zhi turned her head and kissed him lightly on the cheek, nodding in agreement. The two cooperated tacitly, washing vegetables, cutting vegetables, and stir-frying in the wok. After a while, the kitchen was filled with tempting aroma.
The table was laden with a bountiful array of dishes, each one a feast for the senses. There was the children's favorite, the sweet and sour pork ribs, bright red and sweet and sour, each rib smothered in a rich sauce. There were also stir-fried seasonal vegetables, the tender greens exuding a refreshing aroma that whetted the appetite. The steamed fish was incredibly tender and juicy, melting in the mouth. Jiang Zhi carefully picked out the fish bones and placed the fish meat in the children's bowls. The family sat together, laughing and chatting, enjoying this ordinary yet precious warm moment.
After lunch, the children were a little sleepy, so Jiang Zhi and Shen Qingchen took them back to the room and gently coaxed them to sleep. Looking at the children's peaceful sleeping faces, Jiang Zhi's heart was full of tenderness. She took Shen Qingchen's hand, quietly walked out of the room, and came to the study in the manor.
The study is filled with bookshelves, which are filled with all kinds of books, ranging from business classics to historical masterpieces. Jiang Zhi walked to the desk, picked up a family album, and flipped through the yellowed photos. The past years came flooding back like a tide. The photos showed the resolute faces of the family ancestors when they started their businesses, the glorious scenes of the family's heyday, and the touching moments of family members supporting each other in difficult times. Shen Qingchen stood beside her, gently stroking the photos with her fingers, and said with emotion: "We shoulder not only the future of the family, but also the expectations of our ancestors. Over the years, the family has gone through ups and downs, and it is not easy to get to where we are today. We must make it better and better." Jiang Zhi nodded firmly and said: "I have been thinking about how to take the family business to a higher level on the existing basis and create more value for society."
