Chapter 95 New clues

Jiang Zhi stood on the bustling street, the sunlight filtering through the leaves onto her face, but it couldn't dispel the gloom in her heart. Since embarking on her quest for clues to Tang Junxi's murder, she'd experienced countless difficulties and setbacks, but she'd never considered giving up.

That day, Jiang Zhi, as usual, searched the city for clues. She wandered through the ancient streets and alleys, where the mottled walls and old signs seemed to tell stories of the past. Suddenly, her eyes were drawn to a missing person notice posted on a telephone pole. The photo on the notice was blurry, but the figure looked strangely familiar. Jiang Zhi took a closer look, and with a startling realization, she recognized the person as the key figure who had appeared at the scene of Tang Junxi's murder.

Jiang Zhi's heartbeat quickened instantly, knowing she had finally found a crucial clue. She immediately tore off the missing person notice and carefully placed it in her bag. Back at her apartment, Jiang Zhi sat at the table, took out the missing person notice again, and carefully examined the person in the photo. She tried to find any clues in the person's face that might have connected them to Tang Junxi's death, but aside from a hint of familiarity, she could see nothing.

Jiang Zhi decided to start searching for the missing person, using the information in a missing person notice. The notice listed only the person's name, Lin Yu, along with some brief descriptions and the last known location. Jiang Zhi began asking around for Lin Yu. She asked nearby residents, shop owners, and street vendors, but no one knew where he was. Jiang Zhi didn't give up, knowing that searching for clues would require patience and perseverance.

Over the next few days, Jiang Zhi continued to search the city for Lin Yu. She pursued every possible clue, even visiting remote corners and abandoned buildings. However, Lin Yu seemed to have vanished from the face of the earth, never to be seen. Jiang Zhi began to feel anxious, fearing that her trail would be lost.

Just when Jiang Zhi was feeling desperate, she overheard a conversation between two passersby. One of them mentioned a man named Lin Yu, saying that he had recently appeared in a tavern. Jiang Zhi was delighted and immediately ran towards the tavern. When she arrived at the tavern, she found it empty. Jiang Zhi asked the tavern owner about Lin Yu's situation. The owner told her that Lin Yu had indeed been there, but he left soon and no one knew where he went.

Jiang Zhi was terribly disappointed, but she didn't give up. She decided to wait near the tavern, waiting for Lin Yu to appear again. She found a secluded corner and quietly watched the tavern's door. Time passed, and Jiang Zhi's patience gradually wore thin. She didn't know how long she had to wait, nor did she know if Lin Yu would appear again.

Just when Jiang Zhi was about to lose confidence, a figure appeared at the door of the tavern. Jiang Zhi looked closely and saw that it was Lin Yu, whom she had been looking for. Lin Yu looked a little wary. He looked around and then quickly walked into the tavern. Jiang Zhi quietly followed him into the tavern.

Lin Yu found a corner in the tavern, sat down, ordered a glass of wine, and drank silently. Jiang Zhi sat not far from him, observing his every move. She noticed that Lin Yu looked a little nervous, as if he was worried about something. Jiang Zhi decided to find an opportunity to get close to Lin Yu and get more information from him.

When Lin Yu finished his drink and was about to leave, Jiang Zhi quietly followed him. Lin Yu seemed to realize that someone was following him, so he quickened his pace, trying to shake Jiang Zhi off. Jiang Zhi followed him closely, not daring to let up even a little. Lin Yu turned into an alley, and Jiang Zhi followed him in. However, when she walked into the alley, she found that Lin Yu had disappeared.

Jiang Zhi's heart tightened. She knew she couldn't let Lin Yu escape again. She began to search the alley for any trace of Lin Yu. The alley was filled with a damp smell, and the walls were covered with moss. Jiang Zhi walked carefully, afraid of missing any clues. Suddenly, she heard a slight sound of footsteps. Jiang Zhi walked in the direction of the footsteps and found a door hidden in the corner.

Jiang Zhi pushed open the door, revealing a dimly lit room. Lin Yu was sitting in the room, watching her warily. Jiang Zhi walked into the room and said slowly, "Lin Yu, I know you were at the scene where Tang Junxi was murdered. I just want to know the truth and avenge him." Lin Yu was silent for a moment, then said, "Why are you looking for me? Don't you know how dangerous this matter is?" Jiang Zhi said firmly, "I'm not afraid of danger. I just want the truth. Tang Junxi is my friend. He can't just die in such an unclear way."

Lin Yu looked at Jiang Zhi, a hint of hesitation flashing in his eyes. He seemed to be considering whether to tell Jiang Zhi the truth. Jiang Zhi saw his hesitation and continued, "I know you have your own difficulties, but if you can tell me the truth, maybe we can find a solution to the problem together." Lin Yu sighed and said, "Okay, I'll tell you the truth. But you have to promise me not to involve me." Jiang Zhi nodded and said, "I promise you."

Lin Yu began to recount what he knew. It turned out that Tang Junxi had been murdered by a mysterious organization. This powerful organization was intent on obtaining the Jiang Group's trade secrets. Tang Junxi had stumbled upon their plot, and they had him murdered. Lin Yu happened to be at the scene and saw the murderer, but he didn't dare speak out, fearing the organization would harm him.

Jiang Zhi was filled with shock and anger after hearing Lin Yu's words. She finally knew the cause of Tang Junxi's death and understood how powerful the enemy she faced was. However, Jiang Zhi was not intimidated. She decided to continue her investigation, uncover the mysterious organization, and avenge Tang Junxi. Jiang Zhi asked, "Do you know the details of this mysterious organization?" Lin Yu shook his head and said, "I don't know. I only know that they are very mysterious and few people know their true identity."
