When Song Yan went out, Li Yuanzhao and Shen Hanyang were chatting. Song Yan greeted them. "Dong Mingming and I had something to discuss, sorry to bother you."
Li Yuanzhao: "So you're done talking? If you're done, we'll go inside."
It was late at night, so they spoke in hushed tones.
Song Yan: "This is a secret between the two of us, so it's not convenient for you to know."
Li Yuanzhao: "It's your secret, we definitely won't pry. Besides, the three of us stayed in the house all night, and no one came. Right, Hanyang!"
Li Yuanzhao tugged at Shen Hanyang, then nodded mechanically. Did Li Yuanzhao's word mean whatever she wanted? Could she possibly side with that annoying Dong Mingming?

After Song Yan left, Li Yuanzhao quickly took away her foot bath basin and threw it away.
Shen Hanyang didn't understand why Li Yuanzhao was rushing around so fast, even though it was normal for her to pour out the foot bath water.
When she turned around again, Dong Mingming had recovered and picked up her basin, vomiting uncontrollably. She almost threw up her intestines.
Shen Hanyang understood; Li Yuanzhao had considered things quite thoroughly!
Li Yuanzhao and Shen Hanyang usually ignored Dong Mingming. Now, even as Dong Mingming vomited violently, Li Yuanzhao and Shen Hanyang pretended not to see it.
Just as the two of them were about to fall asleep, Dong Mingming suddenly yelled, "You two have to be my witnesses, I'm going to sue Song Yan."
"What are you doing so late at night? Why would I give you a certificate?" Li Yuanzhao said impatiently.
"You didn't see it? How could you not have seen it?" Dong Mingming roared.
“We’re outside, what can we see?” Li Yuanzhao asked.
“I didn’t see anything,” Shen Hanyang immediately followed up with Li Yuanzhao.
“You’re all in cahoots. You just watch me…” Dong Mingming trailed off, unable to continue.
"What do you mean you're in cahoots? Go on, tell me." Li Yuanzhao asked with a relaxed expression.
"You...you..." Dong Mingming couldn't continue. Tears streamed down her face.
“I saw that Song Yan was very angry when she came. Why was she angry with you? She’s usually all smiles,” Li Yuanzhao asked.
Dong Mingming immediately panicked, clearly realizing she was in the wrong.
Li Yuanzhao scoffed inwardly. Song Yan did a really good job! Old Liao, a man who usually keeps a low profile, could he possibly provoke Dong Mingming?
After several years of living as sent-down youth, they were no longer the impetuous teenagers who would get excited at the slightest provocation. They became more composed in their actions and thoughts.
Is Lao Liao, a scholar, really so utterly wicked?
What did Dong Mingming do?
An elderly, frail man in his fifties nearly drowned and choked on a lot of dirty water.

Shen Hanyang didn't know why this had happened. But it was true that Dong Mingming disliked him; Song Yan was usually quite kind and generous. They had often gotten food from Song Yan. Dong Mingming muttered under her breath, "Shameless!"
Li Yuanzhao sneered inwardly, "Trying to steal someone else's partner and already having any shame!"

Li Yuanzhao suddenly realized that this was Dong Mingming's purpose. Whether Pan Bo felt the urge to protect the weak, or Shen Hanyang had a falling out with Pan Bo because of it, her goal had been achieved.
Dong Mingming has only known Pan Bo for a few days? Has she fallen for him? Standing next to Gao Weijie, it's obvious Gao Weijie is much better off. Just look at the things Gao Weijie uses and the clothes he wears; his family must be quite well-off.
Why did Dong Mingming take a liking to Pan Bo when they had just met?
It's all because Pan Bo is good at working!
