Chapter 604 Robbery

Wei Aiguo and his wife followed the man and chatted with him along the way.

This man's nickname is Mouse.

He does indeed have a shifty, rat-like appearance.

After walking for a short while, Wei Aiguo stopped and wandered further and further off course.

Wei Aiguo stopped in his tracks, clearly annoyed, and turned to walk back: "Where are you taking me? I'm not going!"

"Brother, why are you so timid? Do you act like a man?" The man's accent became even heavier as he got anxious.

Wei Aiguo turned around and prepared to walk back.

Haozi anxiously grabbed Wei Aiguo, "Don't be so wary! Think about it, how could we in this line of work be open about it! We'd definitely have to try our luck with Zuo Zuo..." Was it going to be something secretive?

The more anxious he became, the less clear his speech became. But he had a persistent spirit.

Wei Aiguo followed him with suspicion. Song Yan followed behind him without saying a word.

The mouse's description of "not far" meant they walked for almost half an hour, finally reaching a completely remote area.

"Look, we're here!" At this moment, Haozi was no longer in the humble manner he used to persuade Wei Aiguo. He looked at Wei Aiguo and Song Yan with a smug expression.

He clapped his hands a few times. Five men blocked Song Yan and his wife from both ends of the alley, each holding an iron bar.

"...We're just short on funds. Think it through before you act..."

Wei Aiguo didn't say anything. But Song Yan sensed that he was very happy.

Facing the group of people slowly walking towards him, Wei Aiguo said, "I'm not afraid of hardship, fatigue, or fighting!"

"Fine, you've got guts!" said the mouse.

Wei Aiguo pulled Song Yan behind him, because Song Yan was also a little itchy to do it.

You could tell these five people had practiced martial arts from the way they fought, but they couldn't even last two minutes against Wei Aiguo.

Seeing the person lying on the ground groaning, Haozi turned to run away. Wei Aiguo's pebble flew out and hit Haozi on the back, sending him sprawling face-first into the dirt.

Seeing that he couldn't escape, the mouse knelt on the ground and begged for mercy.

Wei Aiguo: "Where do you live? Can you show me around?"

The mouse, which was crying and howling, suddenly stopped.

Wei Aiguo didn't say anything, but simply grabbed Haozi's shoulder.

"Tengteng, I'll take you there, I'll take you there right away. Our place isn't far from here." He then offered to lead the way.

Wei Aiguo pointed to the other five people and said, "You come with me."

The mouse led them into a courtyard, which was quite large and the houses looked nice.

The six people followed behind dejectedly.

The mouse bowed and scraped as it invited Wei Aiguo into the house to sit down.

After Wei Aiguo entered, he sat down with an air of authority. "Do you have any goods? I want to check them out!"

Mouse: "I'm not lying to you, I only have a tiny bit, nothing more."

Wei Aiguo: "Then where do you get your goods from?"

The mouse shut up.

Wei Aiguo chuckled, "Whether you tell me or not is not up to you. I'll let you know what the consequences will be if I'm not satisfied."

As Wei Aiguo spoke, he looked around at the furnishings in the room.

I must say, this room is really nice. Wei Aiguo doesn't understand the things placed there, but they are very beautiful.

Song Yan followed silently behind Wei Aiguo. They knew they couldn't possibly defeat Wei Aiguo. Haozi had already given up on fighting him, but what about the woman with him?

"Ah..." followed by a loud thud.

Wei Aiguo turned around and saw that Haozi had been thrown to the ground by Song Yan like a dead fish.

What was he planning to do? Wei Aiguo had already guessed it.

The others were dumbfounded.

They were so shocked that Haozi pulled out a knife and tried to take Song Yan hostage.

As a result, Song Yan grabbed Haozi's wrist, pulled and tugged, and Haozi cried out in pain. Then Song Yan threw him on the ground like a rag doll.

Wei Aiguo walked over and looked down at the men.

The bandits felt a chill in their hearts: "This woman is really ruthless!"

The mouse clutched its shoulder, sweating profusely from the pain.

Song Yan dislocated his shoulder.

Wei Aiguo grabbed the mouse by the neck and said, "You really are the type to refuse a toast only to suffer a forfeit."
