Chapter 516 Standing Punishment

516 "Sugar, what sugar?" Old Mrs. He immediately sensed something was wrong. She slapped Erdan a few more times, and Erdan answered whatever she was asked.

It turns out it was that little brat who came up with the idea.

"You little brat, I'll teach you a lesson!" Unable to find anything to hit her with, Old Mrs. He angrily took off her shoe, intending to use the sole to whip Yueyue.

"Mrs. He, oh dear, is this really not going to work?"

"Is it appropriate for you to hit someone's child who is so young?"

Those enjoying the cool air together shouted.

Yueyue leaned against the wall, licking the candy little by little, without trying to avoid it.

Mrs. He rushed over, but didn't dare to hit her.

Bai Shuang was lying down, but now she's standing up.

Neighbor Aunt Sun came to mediate, saying, "What can you do to a child who eats shit? Besides, there's a big dog next to her, how can you hit her?"

“If you hit me, I’ll call the police,” Yueyue said.

"This child is so bad at such a young age? What will he be like when he grows up? Will he be capable of murder and arson? I'm going to talk to your parents." Mrs. He was furious.

"Bai Shuang!" Yueyue called out, and faster than Grandma He, she ran back.

Bai Shuang glared menacingly at Old Mrs. He. The old lady dared not move, for the large dog's appearance was too frightening.

Yueyue squeezed out of the courtyard gate again.

"Hei Zai, sit down!" Yueyue asked Hei Zai to sit by the door.

Everyone saw this little girl with her hair tied up in a topknot, her head covered in black stubble. She swayed as she walked toward Old Mrs. He.

She walked over, putting one arm around Bai Shuang's neck. She was still licking the candy in her other hand.

Grandma He decided to back down before she could suffer a loss. She had just stepped back when Yueyue slapped Bai Shuang, who immediately started whimpering as if it wanted to bite the old lady.

"Keep an eye on her!" Yueyue swaggered over to get Grandma He's small stool and placed it in the shade by the wall.

"Come here! It's sunny!" Yueyue said, and then watched the dog slowly limp towards the shade.

Good heavens, this dog can understand human speech!

Grandma He breathed a sigh of relief. The dog was gone, so she could leave now, right? She had just taken a step when Bai Shuang turned back and barked. Grandma He pulled her leg back. Only then did Bai Shuang continue walking, then sit down next to its young owner, keeping its eyes fixed on Grandma He.

As soon as Grandma He moved, the dog stood up.

What does this mean? Are you just letting the old lady stand there in the sun? Won't she get sunburned in this scorching sun?

They wanted to find the adults in the house, but a big black dog was blocking their door.

To be honest, this family just moved in, and judging from their accents, they're from out of town. Nobody really takes them seriously. Otherwise, why would Mrs. He be so brazenly trying to take advantage of them?

This family always greets their neighbors. Today, the old lady and her daughter went out and greeted everyone in the neighborhood.

To be honest, as a Kyoto native, I feel a sense of superiority.

Aunt Wei didn't come empty-handed. Everyone greeted her politely; no one meant her any disrespect, but they weren't particularly enthusiastic either.

It's not that I'm envious, but it's also a little sour to see someone from out of town living in such a spacious place.

As soon as Grandma He moved, the lame dog tried to climb up.

The black dog at the door didn't move an inch.

Everyone was really on edge, they were all old neighbors, even if they usually made a fuss, it shouldn't end up killing someone.

"Child, what's your name?" An old man asked from afar, trying to strike up a conversation with Yueyue.

"Yueyue!" The candy was finished. Yueyue took out a jujube from her pocket to chew on.

Yueyue stared at the jujube; it wasn't as sweet as sugar.

This jujube is almost as big as an egg.

Such a wonderful thing, even money can't guarantee you'll get it; you need connections too. Everyone suddenly realized they had underestimated this family.

The old man continued, "Little Yueyue, you see, Grandma He is getting old, we can't let her stand all the time, can we?"

"It's alright! She has the strength." Yueyue said, biting into a jujube. "Hmm, the jujube tastes sweet after a couple of bites."

“Little girl, she was badly hurt when she fell just now…” Yueyue spoke up before the old man could finish.

"She insulted me!"

"You brat, if you hadn't been up to something and made my grandson take my stool, would I have cursed you?" Old Mrs. He cursed.

The little girl was leisurely munching on a jujube when she heard what Old Madam He said. She immediately stood up and led Bai Shuang over.

As Bai Shuang walked forward, Old Mrs. He was so frightened that she backed away. The old lady retreated until she reached the wall where the sunlight was shining.

"Stand at attention, chest out, head up, don't move! You're being punished by standing in the corner!" Everyone heard Yueyue's sweet little voice.

Did this little girl make Grandma He stand as punishment?

Grandma He was terrified. If she didn't do as she was told, the dead dog would bark at her.

Grandma Sun got angry, "Old He, are you stupid? Why are you arguing with a little baby who doesn't understand anything?"

Grandma Sun's husband, Old Sun, who had remained silent, went to the neighborhood office to find Director Xue.

When Director Xue was pulled over by Old Sun, he saw that Old Mrs. He's face was covered in sweat from the sun.

"You must be Yueyue? This little girl is really amazing. This big dog actually listens to you so well." Director Xue was about three meters away from Yueyue.

Yueyue sat on a small stool and nodded.

These old men and women all felt that this girl was incredibly infuriating.

She took someone else's stool and sat in the shade, her little feet swinging back and forth.

"Grandma He is getting old, she can't stand for that long. Can we stop her from standing?" Director Xue asked Yueyue. Could they not ask her? You can't even get into her house.

“She insulted me!” Yueyue said.

"Aunt He, why are you scolding a child? Quickly apologize to him," Director Xue said.

Grandma He shut her mouth tightly; she was furious.

"If you want to die of heatstroke here, then shut up," Director Xue said, clearly displeased. Did she expect her to be subservient to a child?

"I'm sorry!" Mrs. He muttered.

"Keep it down!"

Hey! This girl!

Everyone thought Mrs. He was unlucky to have met such a young girl.

"I'm sorry!" Mrs. He's voice rose a little.

“You insulted my grandma!” Yueyue said.

Grandma Sun looked at Yueyue in surprise. That morning, Grandma Wei came to Grandma Sun's house, and Old Mrs. He saw her and stood outside the door, making veiled accusations. The little girl was running and playing at the door.

What else could Old Mrs. He do? She could only apologize again.

"Not sincere!" Yueyue was still swinging her little feet there.

Grandma He was about to cry. She apologized and said she shouldn't have scolded people, and that she wouldn't do it again.
