Chapter 603. Tracking

Getting caught for what they're doing is no small matter.

Being cautious in everything you do is never a bad thing.

Both Wei Cheng and Zeng Yi are very easy to take care of; they rarely cry once they've had a full meal.

They are much more comfortable now than Yueyue was back then.

Song Yan often puts them in the space to give them a bath.

Yueyue was afraid that Wei Aiguo would find out that something was wrong, so she didn't dare to bathe the child all winter.

Let alone Yueyue, Song Yan rarely dared to take a shower in the space when Wei Aiguo was at home and not at work.

Forget about taking a shower indoors. Even wiping yourself with a hot towel will leave you freezing.

Unlike now, where two children are placed in a basin and washed clean with water at the right temperature.

Song Yan muttered this as she bathed her son.

As Wei Aiguo listened to his wife's nagging and his son's indistinct babbling, he felt a deep sense of peace.

The next morning, after Song Yan fed the child and had breakfast with Wei Aiguo, they went out for a stroll.

They hadn't walked more than a few steps when they realized that the people who had been following them were back.

Wei Aiguo and the others continued doing what they were doing, pretending they hadn't been discovered.

He would strike up a conversation with Wei Aiguo, who was selling things on the street.

Are you a local? How long have you been selling here?

If you asked that question before, the seller would have been scared away.

Now, all the stall owners are very relaxed. When they encounter someone who claims to be a local and has been selling goods for a long time, Wei Aiguo asks where they usually go to buy things.

There weren't many customers, but people were willing to chat with Wei Aiguo. "But you have to buy my stuff, otherwise I won't say a word."

After asking several stall owners, Wei Aiguo learned where they should go if they wanted to buy what they needed.

The people following behind continued to follow.

Wei Aiguo and his wife seemed tired, so they sat down by the flower bed.

Actually, they were afraid the child would go hungry. Song Yan's consciousness entered the space and gave the child the pre-prepared formula.

These two kids are so easy to raise. They're fine with breast milk or formula; they're not picky about food.

The two sat for a while before deciding to head to their destination.

Just then, a man approached them in Mandarin with a local accent. "I have some good stuff here, do you want some?"

He was holding a mechanical watch.

"These are all very cheap!"

Wei Aiguo asked, "How much is one piece?"

"80." The man gestured with his hand.

Song Yan glanced at the man; he was rather short and had slightly dark skin. His eyes darted around, as if he were constantly calculating something.

Wei Aiguo: "What's your affordable price?"

"Brothers, I can tell you're not locals, you're on a business trip, right?"

If you take it back at this price, people will believe you if you say you bought it for 160 yuan.

Selling it to relatives or friends would definitely be profitable!

Wei Aiguo shook his head: "The price is still too high. If you're not going to lower the price, then don't bother talking anymore."

"Okay, if you really want to buy it from me, it'll cost you 70 yuan!" He even made a face as if he was reluctantly parting with it.

Wei Aiguo made a move to leave with Song Yan, appearing not particularly interested.

The man quickly caught up, "I'll give you the lowest price this time, fifty!"

Wei Aiguo: "How about I buy two?"

"Forty-eight is the lowest I can go, it can't be any cheaper!"

"How many do you have?" Wei Aiguo asked.

The man was taken aback for a moment, then his face lit up with surprise. "If you can really buy a lot, I'll take you to see our boss. The more you buy, the more negotiable the price!"

Song Yan tugged at Wei Aiguo's sleeve and shook his head.

Wei Aiguo understood; he couldn't agree too readily. "Forget it, my wife doesn't want me to bring so much; there are risks on the road!"

The man immediately became anxious upon hearing this. "Sigh, a man should be in charge of his own affairs. How can he be afraid of his wife!"

Our boss, you still have a lot of things there; you'd need tickets even in your hometown.

Our stuff is cheap and we don't need tickets..."

Song Yan: Are you pretending I don't exist?!

The short man used his silver tongue to talk nonstop.

Finally, Wei Aiguo said, "Let's go take a look."
