Luo Jiujiang suddenly rolled over, level with the ground. With a well-placed slap of his left hand on the grass, he easily slid out from under the furry, long-tailed creature's buttocks. With a slight push of his foot, he retreated to safety. Only then did Luo Jiujiang straighten his back and leisurely observe Nuzi's expression.
Perhaps he hadn't expected his three consecutive strikes to miss, so Nuzi looked dazed. He raised his thick eyebrows at Luo Jiujiang and angrily shouted, "You're actually dodging?"
This is too unreasonable. Luo Jiujiang smiled and replied: "Why shouldn't I hide?"
Nuzi paused, then waved his hands back to recall his two hammers. He said bitterly, "I was trying to show you mercy and only demonstrate this move—you forced me to do it!"
Don’t even mention showing mercy. If I don’t dodge, you’ll just have to demonstrate it to Qiuqiu. Luo Jiujiang thought to himself.
But on the surface, he remained calm and said, "It's okay, no need to hold back, brother. Please come and see this final move."
His attitude was considered affable, but in Nuzi's eyes, it only added fuel to the fire. Luo Jiujiang watched his opponent take a deep breath, his face flushing red as if smeared with chili peppers. Nuzi's eyes widened even further than when they had met, the clearness in his eyes gradually becoming clouded by red bloodshot, and his entire body was like a moving volcano, ready to erupt.
As the other party's rage became visible, Nuzi's aura steadily grew. Not only did veins bulge on his forehead, but even his chest gradually bulged, like a bloated toad. However, along with this comical appearance, Nuzi felt increasingly dangerous.
Luo Jiujiang's eyebrows moved slightly.
"Human." Even though his expression showed that he was on the verge of exploding, Nuzi's voice was surprisingly calm at this moment: "Before you die, watch this: what's the difference between us aliens and you?"
"Our power is called Daoyuan!"
The two heavy black iron hammers swung down with a roaring roar, crashing down on Luo Jiujiang like a collapsing mountain. Besides the alien's innate strength and the cultivation of the Golden Core, there was also another kind of pure and irresistible power, a power that was so powerful that it was almost equivalent to the rules.
"So familiar." Luo Jiujiang sighed, "The host is so generous, I feel embarrassed to hide some. Is this the source of Taoism you are talking about? Come on, look, I have a big drop."
Nuzi: "..." What?!
At this point, the battle was imminent. When Han Qianling came over with the ear hook that had not yet been wiped clean of blood, the first thing he saw was the scene of Luo Jiujiang and Nu Zi fighting.
Luo Jiujiang still had the thin body of a teenager, holding high the tip of his knife with a white light on it, and he collided with the strong and tall Nu Zi and the two heavy hammers without hesitation.
Judging from the sense of lightness and heaviness on the screen, this scene is almost like an ant trying to shake a tree. However, what is disappointing is that the reality is just the opposite.
Luo Jiujiang is a tree, and Nuzi is an ant.
Cheng Xue and the black iron hammer clashed with a clang. The two round hammers, though rough and solid, were easily penetrated by Cheng Xue, like cutting tofu. It wasn't even inertia that penetrated them, for Luo Jiujiang quickly moved his wrist sideways, and with a snap, like slicing melons and vegetables, he split the hammer in two.
It was not until the upper half of the heavy hammer head was about to fall to the ground that the huge force that Luo Jiujiang poured into it was transmitted to Nu Zi, causing him to cough violently and fly backwards involuntarily like a kite with a broken string.
After all, having only recently comprehended the Dao Source, Luo Jiujiang was still somewhat unfamiliar with its use. He was filled with youthful vigor, and along the way, he had frequently encountered situations requiring breakthroughs to the limit. Consequently, his sword intent was overpowering, unleashing without restraint. Even now, even with careful attention, he was unable to retreat, forcing a line of blood to trickle from the corner of Nuzi's mouth, clearly wounding him internally.
However, looking at Nuzi's shocked and even angry expression, he didn't care about his internal injuries. At this moment, his mind was only filled with one other thing.
"You...human..." Ni Kui murmured, "Do you have the source of Tao?"
"I do." Luo Jiujiang said calmly.
"!!!" As if stunned by this thunderbolt, Nuzi sat on the ground, his eyes fixed in a daze. Half a breath later, facing Luo Jiujiang's scrutinizing gaze, he abruptly said, "Chen Yuan's skills are inferior to mine. I admit defeat."
Luo Jiujiang: “…”
Shen Yuan, what the hell, you're clearly Ni Kui, the wretch! Do you really think that just because I showed up for the appointment, I'm stupid?
Luo Jiujiang's chest choked again, and he once again experienced the unique feeling of thousands of words rushing up his throat.
He had this feeling when he received the invitation not long ago, when he entertained the envoy, and even when he heard "bingbing, cones and balls" during the fight a moment ago - Nu Zi was really an amazing person.
Perhaps because he had so much to say, Luo Jiujiang was speechless for a moment. He sighed, turned around, and waved to Han Qianling, whose shirt was only half exposed behind the giant tree. "Qianling, you're a step late."
Han Qianling walked forward slowly and said with a smile: "I came at the right time. I saw the most important scene."
He stepped forward and stood side by side with Luo Jiujiang, his shoulder brushing against his own as if by accident. Luo Jiujiang had already sheathed his sword just as he took his last step, and just as he had done so, he bent his right elbow and lightly collided with Han Qianling's left elbow.
Both of them performed this series of movements very naturally, and there was a unique rhythm in between. The unintentional movements were so coincidental and not at all chaotic. It was obviously not something that could be achieved by the tacit understanding of one or two months.
