Adam breathed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness it was just a dream… just a dream. Suddenly, he felt an itch in his lower abdomen, accompanied by a rustling sound, as if something was moving there—

"Whoa—" the knight cried out in fright, sitting up abruptly and staring at the elf crouching at his waist, stammering, "What are you doing here?" The shock of seeing that stunningly beautiful face from his dream suddenly appearing before him was unimaginable.

Seeing the look of utter disbelief on the other's face, the elf smiled radiantly, her delicate, petal-like red lips parted slightly, and she uttered a melodious voice: "Adam, do you remember now?"

Remember? Remember what? Adam frowned in confusion, the scene from his dream flashing before his eyes—he was sitting in a military tent, Calvin standing beside him, and he himself… was General Adam Kozmo. As if struck by lightning, Adam froze. This time, he could no longer deny it. He remembered the initial thrill of their first meeting, the happiness of their time together, and the pain of their separation. This man before him, who had spent ten years with him as a magician, had revealed his true identity to him at the moment of their final victory, even begging him to abandon his ideals and follow him into seclusion in the forest.

Enraged by the deception and unable to accept abandoning a nation in dire need of rebuilding, he rejected their offer. Ultimately, the elf left him, and he became emperor of the new empire, never wearing the ring until his death. He loved Calvin, but that wasn't enough for him to abandon the responsibilities of a man and a leader.

Unexpectedly, a century later, he still came. Was it fate? But Calvin was still Calvin, while Adam was no longer Adam—what would become of them?

“You actually came to see me…” Calvin seemed to see what he was thinking, and leaned over to hug him. “I’ve waited so long…you’ve finally come…”

Adam remained stiff as he was held, his mind a jumble of thoughts, still preoccupied with those matters. He knew, in truth, that the fault lay not with him, nor with Calvin. Calvin, as an elf, could not defy the will of the Goddess of Nature; concealing his identity was a necessity, and his final confession was a desperate act, clinging to the last glimmer of hope to stay with him—for which Calvin would likely pay a heavy price. Yet, even understanding the other's predicament, he could not compromise.

Now, he has come. But he is not here for himself, but for His Majesty the Emperor's wish, and for his duty as a Holy Knight. But... if, as Calvin said, the ultimate meaning of the Oath Ring is for him to remain here, then what should he do?

“Adam…this time, you have no choice.” Calvin suddenly looked up, gazing intently at him. “I’ve waited enough…Do you know how much willpower I’ve needed all these years to resist going to you? You wouldn’t believe it…I wanted to see you…I was going crazy with longing…”

Feeling the arms wrapped around him trembling violently, and seeing the suffocating pain in their eyes, Adam turned his face away, unable to bear looking at them any longer.

“I want to see you… not through those illusory magical images, not by watching you marry and have children, but by truly seeing you… and being with you…” The elf, however, was unwilling to let him go, still forcing him to turn his face to face her. His voice was already choked with emotion, and his eyes, clearer than a spring, slowly became moist. “I love you.”

Adam felt as if he'd been struck by a heavy hammer, speechless with shock. Why? He'd watched himself betray their love, refused to see him even in death, and now, a century later, he could still say such things to him? What was it about him that made him so persistent?

“I don’t understand…” Adam finally spoke in a low voice, “Why are you so persistent? Even though I used to be Cozmo, I am completely different from him now, both in appearance and personality. The person you love… he’s long gone.”

“No, from the moment I saw you, I had a strange feeling… Even though I didn’t know you were Adam, I just wanted to be close to you.” Calvin shook his head, his expression serious. “That’s why I brought you back, instead of letting you continue fighting monsters here. My intuition doesn’t lie… It really is you…”

As he spoke, he lowered his head and approached the knight's handsome face, gently kissing his resolute, thin lips.

The warm, soft touch of the elf's beautiful lips pressed against his own, her eyes slightly closed, her long eyelashes trembling like tiny brushes, teasing the knight's innocent heart—the young knight had never known that a kiss could make his heart flutter so wildly. He had grown up in the Papacy, bound by its strict rules and regulations. Even after becoming the Empire's First Holy Knight, the enthusiasm of noble ladies and young women in the palace only made him shy away, leaving him no opportunity to experience love. Although he remembered his past life, that was, after all, his past life—in this life, he was a pure and innocent virgin.

Adam's face flushed crimson, and he hurriedly turned his head to try to avoid it, but the elf easily pinned him down on the bed. His lips, which were half-open in surprise, were invaded by the elf's tongue, which ruthlessly swirled and teased in his mouth. Clear saliva quickly overflowed from the corners of his mouth, sticking out ambiguous silver threads.

Adam, still struggling, felt a surge of heat coursing through his body, gradually weakening until he completely lost the strength to resist—strange…why did it feel so…comfortable? His chest swelled, his breath was stolen, his lips and tongue were sucked until they were numb, his mind was a chaotic mess, as if a typhoon had swept through, and in his blurry vision, the elf's focused expression as he kissed him looked like a sweet trap tempting him to fall. How terrifying…why is this happening? Adam slowly closed his eyes, no longer wanting to look at the person's overly alluring face.

Calvin kissed the knight beneath him until he could barely breathe, then reluctantly lifted his head, murmuring the name of his beloved: "Adam...Adam...look at me...okay?"

Adam kept his eyes tightly shut, resolutely refusing to look at him. He didn't want to be tempted by this man... He hadn't finished his mission yet; how could he get entangled with him here?

Calvin sighed softly, lowered his head and kissed his already swollen lips again, lifted the hem of the man's clothes, and quickly reached in with his left hand, tracing up the waistline to the right chest, pressing on the full and firm muscles, and kneading them back and forth with varying pressure.
