Chapter 100 Playing with the Sixth Prince
At this moment, an unexpected guest arrived at Luohua Palace. Qing Yi looked up and saw that the visitor was dressed in gorgeous crimson purple clothes. It was none other than the Sixth Prince of the Great Chu State.
"Is Qingyu in the palace?" asked the Sixth Prince in a clear voice.
Seeing this, the young eunuch guarding the door hurriedly bowed and saluted, and respectfully replied: "Your Highness the Sixth Prince, the young prince has just returned to the palace, and his son is resting in the bedroom at this moment."
"Oh, I specially brought some treasured tea for him to taste." The Sixth Prince said as he was about to step into the palace gate, completely ignoring Qing Yi at the door.
"Sixth Prince, the young prince is resting. You'd better not disturb him. Either sit here and wait, or come back another day." Qing Yi raised his eyebrows. He had long disliked the Sixth Prince. He sat steadily on the chair, without even moving, picked up the wine jug, filled it with wine, and began to drink as if no one was around.
"Hey, where's the guard dog? Where's Qingfeng?" The Sixth Prince had already seen Qingyi sitting there lazily. Who on earth is this person to Chu Qingyu? How could he be so fearless in the palace? He doesn't look like one of his guards at all!
"Sixth Prince is really forgetful. Didn't you recognize me yesterday? How come you forgot me today?" Qing Yi narrowed his eyes and raised a meaningful smile at the corner of his mouth.
The more he looked at the Sixth Prince, the more he disliked him. He had punished Xue An but hadn't found a chance to deal with him yet, and now he just happened to be delivered to his door. Qing Yi was thinking about how to deal with this guy.
"Hmph, he's just a servant. How could this prince remember him?" The Sixth Prince sneered. His words were full of contempt, as if he was looking down on someone.
When Qing Yi heard this, his smile grew wider, and he said with a hint of sarcasm: "Slave? This hero has been traveling the martial arts world for many years, and this is the first time I've been called a slave!"
"Stop making trouble here! Get out of the way quickly. I'm here to see Qingyu. What does it have to do with you?" The Sixth Prince's face turned pale, and he was about to step in again.
Qing Yi would never let him succeed. He stretched out his long legs and placed them in front of the Sixth Prince. The Sixth Prince was stopped and could not move a single step.
"How dare you treat me like this? Are you planning a rebellion?" The Sixth Prince had never been stopped like this before. He instantly flew into a rage, glaring at Qing Yi. Qing Yi's lips curled up slightly, a glint of triumph in his eyes. He was deliberately provoking the Sixth Prince.
"The young prince is not feeling well, and the emperor asked him to rest here. You barged in now and disturbed the young prince's peace. Isn't that disobeying the emperor's order?" Qing Yi crossed his arms over his chest, looking as if he was so angry that he wanted to kill himself, and said slowly.
"I came to visit him because I care about him. How did that count as barging in? You dog slave, if you don't get out of the way, don't blame me for being rude!" The Sixth Prince cursed.
Qing Yi scoffed lightly, looking the Sixth Prince up and down with contempt, curling his lips and sneering, "Visiting? With your appearance, don't scare our young prince!"
Qing Yi said this on purpose to anger the Sixth Prince. In fact, although the princes of Da Chu were not as elegant and good-looking as Ye Qingyu, they were not ugly either. Relatively speaking, the Sixth Prince took after his mother, with peach blossom eyes and drooping eyebrows, which made him look charming and seductive, which was the look of drooping eyebrows in Qing Yi's eyes. In fact, he was not ugly.
"You, you! How dare you, you slave dog! How dare you humiliate me!" The Sixth Prince's face flushed red with anger. He drew the sword from his waist and stabbed Qing Yi, cursing, "You're looking for death!"
Qing Yi stood still, unmoved, a nonchalant smile on his face. Just as the sword was about to pierce him, he reached out two fingers and gently clamped the blade. The sword between his fingers was like being clamped in a pair of iron pliers, unable to move.
"With such mediocre kung fu, you dare to brandish swords and guns in front of me, a hero. How ridiculous." Qing Yi was full of sarcasm.
"You, you!" The Sixth Prince's forehead was covered with sweat. He held the hilt of the sword tightly with both hands and tried to pull back the sword with all his strength, but the sword seemed to have taken root and did not move at all.
"What's wrong with me?" Qing Yi raised his eyebrows and exerted force with his fingers. With a crisp "click" sound, the Sixth Prince's sword, which shone with a cold light, broke into two pieces. With two "clang" sounds, half of the sword fell to the ground with a crisp sound.
The young eunuchs and maids present stared in disbelief. They had never seen anything like this before. Normally, everyone was expected to treat the prince with respect, but this man dared to treat him this way, and was so powerful that he could break the sword with just two fingers. They were horrified and frightened, and no one dared to say a word.
"Chu Qingyu! Come out quickly! Look how rampant your dog slave is!" The Sixth Prince was shocked and angry, his face flushed red, and he shouted at the top of his voice.
But the young prince of the northwest was perhaps too soundly asleep. Even though he shouted at the top of his lungs, the palace remained silent, with no response. The young eunuchs and maids in Luohua Palace stood there dumbfounded, no one daring to move, let alone go in to report, fearing that they would accidentally bring disaster upon themselves.
"Hey, are you leaving or not?" Qing Yi crossed his arms, tilted his head, looked at the Sixth Prince impatiently, and threatened, "If you keep making noise here and disturb the young prince, don't blame me for being rude to you!"
The Sixth Prince was shouting at the top of his lungs when a figure flashed before him, so fast he had no time to react. Then, he felt as if his throat was blocked by something. He opened his mouth, but no sound came out. His face flushed with anxiety, his eyes widened with anger, and he could only glare at Qing Yi fiercely.
Qing Yi had a playful smile on his lips, and said slowly: "Why are you glaring at me? I didn't provoke you. I see that you really don't want to leave, okay, I'll oblige you. But don't bother me here, I'll look around and find a good place for you to stay." Qing Yi crossed his arms and paced around the Sixth Prince, his eyes full of teasing, as if he was wondering where to throw the Sixth Prince.
As soon as Qing Yi finished speaking, he moved and lifted the Sixth Prince with one hand. He tapped the ground with his toes and, with a light touch of his Qing Gong, leaped onto the towering tree in the courtyard of Luohua Palace. He found a tall but not very thick branch among the lush branches and tossed it, and the Sixth Prince landed steadily on it.
