Chapter 207 Death Gaze

The hunched old man sighed, deftly cooked a bowl of noodles, and carried it to the only broken table next to him. "Please enjoy, sir."

Xiao Xuan sat down, picked up a piece of food with his chopsticks, smelled it, and stared blankly for a long time without opening his mouth.

"Young master? Why aren't you eating? The noodles are going to get soggy."

Ah Cai reminded him.

Xiao Xuan snapped out of his daze, carefully put a chopstick into his mouth, and only took two bites.

Tears instantly blurred my vision.

Ah Cai was startled, "Young Master?!"

Xiao Xuan forcefully wiped away his tears, stuffed his mouthful of noodles, and finally drank the soup clean.

Ah Cai was dumbfounded.

Xiao Xuan stood up, looked the old man up and down, and asked with a complicated expression, "Boss, how do you know how to make this kind of noodles?"

The old man struggled to lift his head, and said nervously, "Young master, this is a recipe I learned a couple of days ago. Is it unpalatable? I apologize..."

"You learned this a couple of days ago? Where did you learn it? Who taught you?" Xiao Xuan hurriedly asked.

The old man became even more nervous, "It's...it's a one-eyed young master..."

Xiao Xuan frowned, dropped the silver, turned and left, his eyes subconsciously scanning his surroundings.

Ah Cai asked cautiously, "Young Master? Is something wrong?"

Xiao Xuan shook his head, his shoulders shrugged slightly.

Suddenly, he seemed to see a familiar figure, and immediately abandoned Ah Cai to chase after him.

The man paused for a moment, then immediately sped up and ran forward.

Xiao Xuan roared, "You stop right there!"

Unexpectedly, the other party ran faster and faster.

Xiao Xuan was forced to use all his strength, intending to capture his opponent as soon as he got close.

The opponent counterattacked, using a unique technique.

Xiao Xuan was taken aback, and subconsciously used the same move to retaliate.

"It really was you!"

Upon seeing the one-eyed dragon from that day, Xiao Xuan did not stop, unleashing an attack using moves he had clearly never learned, yet which seemed to be ingrained in his very bones.

"Who exactly are you? Are you deliberately getting close to me?"

The one-eyed man's movements were not menacing; he subdued him with a backhand and leaped into a house with him.

Xiao Xuan struggled free, "You're asking for death!"

The one-eyed man suddenly spoke up, "Don't you think I look familiar?"

Xiao Xuan paused, his eyes flickering slightly. "So what?"

The one-eyed man looked at him intently, "Because... I'm your older brother..."

Unexpectedly, Xiao Xuan suddenly turned pale, clutched his head, and cried out in pain, "Ahhh—"

The one-eyed man was startled and hurriedly grabbed him, crying, "Sixth Brother!"

"Get away from me!!" Xiao Xuan pushed him away with a ferocious expression, his whole body covered in sweat from the pain. "I hate you, get away from me!"

Xiao Chi seemed frozen in place, his face pale and as if in pain.

Xiao Xuan staggered back to the wall, his eyes bloodshot, staring fiercely at him with that familiar, wolfish gaze. "Don't mention those two words, and get out—"

At that moment, not only Ah Cai's voice could be heard outside, but also the footsteps of the guards as they moved out.

The one-eyed man gave him one last look, then turned and quickly left.

"Young master, young master, what's wrong?! Ah, come quick, the young master has fainted."

The one-eyed man paused slightly, not daring to look back, and then vanished in a flash.

Not long after.

Xiao Xuan woke up at the inn, looking listless.

Xiao Zhixing brought him a bowl of herbal medicine and fed it to him personally. "Still have a headache?"

Xiao Xuan sat up, shook his head, and said in a hoarse voice, "I'm fine, just a little dizzy."

After taking a sip, he snatched the bowl and gulped it down.

Xiao Zhixing stuffed a candied date into his hand, "What exactly happened? You left the house perfectly fine, how did it turn out like this?"

Xiao Xuan's eyes flickered slightly, and after hesitating for a moment, he said, "I ran into someone who seemed to know me..."

"You mean, he might be someone from before you lost your memory?"

Xiao Xuan nodded. "I found those noodles. It must have been his deliberate arrangement to lure me there."

Xiao Zhixing hummed in agreement. "Then why didn't he just tell you about your background? Why did he run away?"

She added, "The guards reported that his skills are unlike those of someone from our Great Sheng."

Xiao Xuan pouted, "Sister, if I were a foreigner, would you still want me?"

Xiao Zhixing glared at him, "If I don't want you, who am I serving now? I'm just curious, why do you suddenly have a headache?"

Xiao Xuan was stunned, then covered his face with his hands. "I don't know, but just hearing the words 'elder brother' made me feel...painful..."

"Could it be that he hurt you before?"

Xiao Xuan smiled bitterly, "I don't know, I'm just sad and upset."

"Alright, if you can't figure it out, then don't think about it. Get some rest, and I'll go and find out for you."

The viewers in the live stream were completely bewildered.

[Yellow comment: No, is he really Xiao Long?! Ahhh, I'm going crazy!]

[Yellow comment: I felt the same way as Xiao Chi, that he wasn't Xiao Long. Well, now it's completely confirmed, his moves were exactly the same as Xiao Chi's.]

[Red comment: And the way he ate the noodles clearly showed he was touched.]

[Green comment: Wait a minute, back at Ghost Hero Pass, his relationship with Xiao Chi was fine, right? Those so-called betrayal scenes were all staged by Xiao Zhixing himself, so why is he in pain now? It's as if he was really hurt by Xiao Chi before?]

[Yellow comment: No! Something must have happened between them before. Didn't you notice Xiao Chi's pained expression? If he was wronged, it could be easily explained.]

Everyone was discussing it animatedly, coming up with all sorts of creative ideas.

This piqued Xiao Zhixing's curiosity, so he carefully dug into Xiao Long's deepest, most hidden memories.

I almost yelled "Oh crap!" at the last minute.

Bai Feng curled her lip, "What's the big deal? It's just brotherly incest..."

Xiao Zhixing sighed, "Of course it's important. It's the most important thing when we're acting later."

Bai Feng seemed to understand, but not quite.
