When Lin Qingtong arrived at Chunxue Manor, the lights at the entrance were already off, as if it were not open for business.
Lin Qingtong opened the car door and got out, her brows furrowing slightly.
But she didn't hesitate at all and headed straight for the main gate.
The villa was dark, making it feel somewhat quiet and eerie.
Even during the day, Chunxue Mountain Villa was shrouded in the shadow cast by the mountain, making it appear particularly cold and gloomy.
The wind was howling, and the curtains on both sides were flapping against the glass, but there was no one inside.
Lin Qingtong vaguely sensed something was wrong and wanted to leave, but the villa door was suddenly slammed shut.
With a loud bang, Lin Qingtong trembled and turned around to see a figure wearing a baseball cap standing there.

There was no one around at all, and when they pushed open a door, there was no one inside.

Suddenly, a strange bell rang, and most people would quickly hide.
Lin Qingtong grabbed the mop next to her and saw that the melting chocolate had spilled on it.
So Lin Qingtong dragged the mop to the place where the sound came from, and saw the man in the baseball cap standing there.
The man gave Lin Qingtong a sinister smile, "You've found me."
Lin Qingtong wasn't afraid; instead, she smiled and replied, "I have indeed found you because I want to give you a surprise."
A glint of madness flashed in the man's eyes. "So what kind of surprise are you going to give me?"
Lin Qingtong smiled, then swung the mop at her while speaking.
"This is the surprise I wanted to give you. Do you like it? But I specifically looked for it from the bathroom area."
The mop marks, combined with the stench, were thrown directly at the man's face, knocking his hat off. He instantly stomped his feet in anger.
I'm going to kill you!!
Lin Qingtong was not afraid at all, and instead threw the mop out again with great force.
"Does it smell good? Would you like some more?"
Because Lin Qingtong was holding such a thing, he could only retreat step by step, his eyes blazing with fury as he looked at her.
The sky above was azure, but the villa still felt cold and gloomy. Lin Qingtong spoke directly.
"How much did they pay you? I'll pay double."
The man gritted his teeth and said, "I don't want any money."
Lin Qingtong immediately smiled with interest.
"If you don't want money, then why are you working for Lin Jiaorui? Is it because you like her?"
In that instant, the man instinctively retorted, "How could I possibly like her? She just has something on me."
By the time he realized what was happening, Lin Qingtong was already looking at him with a big smile.
"See? You exposed yourself."
"Why don't you just tell me Lin Jiaorui's purpose in sending you here? Perhaps I can cooperate with you."
The other party looked at Lin Qingtong with suspicion.
Why should I believe you?
Lin Qingtong remained calm and instead asked a question in return.
"Then why don't you believe me? You must have been forced into this by her. Why don't we cooperate?"
"Of course, you should tell me first whether Liu Tingyu is safe?"
The man in the baseball cap said irritably, "She's a big star, nobody can do anything to her. She's already been sent back to your company, just to cover it up."

The man in the baseball cap felt a jolt in his heart, and then he heard the gate of the villa being violently kicked open, and a cool black SUV appeared right in front of them.
Dust billowed up behind the vehicle, breaking the chill and bringing a wave of warmth.
Shen Tinghe was sitting in the driver's seat, smiling slightly at Lin Qingtong.
"I'm not late, am I?"
Lin Qingtong smiled and then turned to look at the man in the baseball cap.
"I've said it before, the other party is no ordinary person."
Lin Qingtong just sent a message to Shen Tinghe asking him to come and help in this emergency.
Seeing that things were not going well, the man turned around and tried to run away.
As a result, Shen Tinghe kicked open the car door with one foot and said to Lin Qingtong, "Get in the car!"
Lin Qingtong smoothly got into the car, her gaze falling on Shen Tinghe.
"You arrived pretty quickly. Did you plant a tracking device on me?"
Shen Tinghe's eyes flickered slightly, and then he answered.
"I was just running errands nearby when I noticed something was wrong here, and then I rushed over after receiving your message."
"If you feel uncomfortable, I can leave now."
Although she said that, she had already floored the accelerator and sped off in the direction the man had left.
