The moment Master Tong saw the mountain, he immediately became displeased and sneered.
"What are you doing here, you traitor!"
Upon hearing this, Gao Shan heavily put down what he was holding and snorted coldly.
"If you can be here, why can't I? And I'm not a traitor; you're the one who stole my credit!"
Lin Qingtong's gaze swept over the two of them, and she couldn't help but be a little surprised. She hadn't expected that there was a story between the two of them.
When Lin Jiaorui saw this scene, she mocked it mercilessly.
"Sister, the workers you hired are just like you, so shameless, just like your mother."
She had a smile on her face, but her words were full of disdain and sarcasm.
Upon hearing her mother Su Wanjun's name, Lin Qingtong's expression darkened, and her sharp, cold gaze shot towards Lin Jiaorui.
Lin Jiaorui felt her scalp tingle under Lin Qingtong's gaze, then suddenly laughed out loud and slowly approached Master Tong.
“Master Tong, I really have to thank you for leaving back then. Otherwise, how could I have found such a good worker as Gao Shan? Look how perfectly this plaster line is finished.”
She gestured with her slender finger to show Chef Tong the direction of the restaurant's plaster lines, her tone calm and collected, yet revealing a hint of sarcasm.
Master Tong glanced at the plaster molding, his expression changed instantly, and he gripped the design draft tightly in his hand.
"That's absolutely impossible. How could a young man in his twenties be better than me?"
His voice rose, and he seemed somewhat vulnerable.
Seeing Master Tong break down, Lin Qingtong crossed her arms and smiled, while turning her head to look in Lin Jiaorui's direction.
"Look at you, you broke down after just a few words. Your master isn't very good. You should change him as soon as possible."
"If you don't mind, I can recommend some for you."
Lin Qingtong returned everything Lin Jiaorui had just said.
Upon hearing this, Lin Jiaorui's face darkened so much that it was almost dripping with water, and she felt even more disgusted with Master Tong.
"Let's go, didn't you say there were still some areas under renovation?"
Lin Jiaorui yelled at Master Tong in an annoyed tone.
Master Tong left with Lin Jiaorui with a cold expression, but after leaving get off work, he went to the direction of the electrical box again.
As for Master Tong, he made countless promises to Lin Jiaorui before she reluctantly believed him again.
"Miss Lin, don't worry, I promise to give you a huge surprise and I won't let that Lin Qingtong step on your head."
Upon hearing this, a glint of light flashed in Lin Jiaorui's eyes; she was actually looking forward to that day.
late at night.
Lin Qingtong dragged her tired body back to the Jiang family home. Just as she was about to push open the door and go into her room to rest, Jiang Hao suddenly came out from behind her and called out to her.
"Qingtong, I have something I want to discuss with you."
Upon hearing this, Lin Qingtong looked at Jiang Hao warily, her hand already reaching into her bag.
"Say what you want to say, whatever it is, right here."
Jiang Hao's gaze fell on the door behind Lin Qingtong, and he said in a low voice.
"The company hasn't been doing very well lately. Could you lend me the money you said you'd saved for me?"
He looked pitiful, with dark circles under his eyes, and he looked extremely haggard. There were also faint red scratches on his neck.
Lin Qingtong stared quietly at Jiang Hao in front of her, then crossed her arms and laughed out loud.
"Jiang Hao, who gave you the nerve to come here asking for money?"
Jiang Hao's expression turned somewhat unpleasant, but he thought that if he got the money, those people in the company wouldn't dare to raise their voices at him anymore.
"Qingtong, we were husband and wife after all."
As soon as he finished speaking, a cold glint flashed in Jiang Hao's eyes. Lin Qingtong definitely still liked him. As long as he hugged her and coaxed her, he could get the money to get through the crisis.
Thinking about it this way, it doesn't seem so hard to accept. After all, I was just trying to give Qi Huimin and the children a better life.
He stepped forward, intending to hug Lin Qingtong, but before he could get close, Lin Qingtong sprayed him with pepper spray.
Jiang Hao covered his eyes and screamed, unable to hold back his cursing.
"Lin Qingtong, are you crazy? What are you spewing at me like that?!"
Lin Qingtong stood calmly in the corridor, the orange light falling on her, and slowly uttered a sentence.
“If I’m going crazy, it’s because you’ve driven me crazy. Don’t forget, you were the one who was disloyal to me first. You have no right to ask for forgiveness from me again.”
"Besides, you're only here for my money."
Lin Qingtong left with a remark, not forgetting to kick Jiang Hao, before pushing open the door and going straight back to rest.
She didn't need to be polite to shameless people.
Perhaps Jiang Hao felt he was also in the wrong, so he covered his eyes and slunk away without telling anyone.
The next morning, as I stepped out of my room, I saw Madam Jiang and Jiang Hao sitting there having breakfast.
Jiang Hao's eyes were terribly red and swollen, making him look like a pitiful, sad frog.
Madam Jiang was immediately distressed and asked curiously, "How did you get like this? Did someone bully you?"
Her gaze suddenly shot towards Lin Qingtong.
Lin Qingtong slowly sat down to eat breakfast, her expression calm and composed, but a mocking smile appeared on her lips.
"Jiang Hao, did I do this?"
After a night, Jiang Hao regretted being too impulsive the night before. He had drunk some alcohol and actually wanted to ask Lin Qingtong for forgiveness.
In his heart, this was disloyalty to Qi Huimin, so he felt guilty and embarrassed to tell anyone.
He waved his hand impatiently in response to Madam Jiang's question.
"It's nothing serious, just an accidental allergic reaction, it'll be fine in a few days."
