Chapter 81 Moving Out

Lin Qingtong looked in the direction of the voice and saw the old master of the Jiang family being helped out by servants. He exuded coldness and oppression as he announced to Jiang Hao.

“My mind is made up. You bunch of bastards are absolutely not allowed to live in my house.”

He was initially very cold, but when he turned to look at Lin Qingtong, his kindness and gentleness were like a spring breeze.

"Tongtong, you definitely don't want to see this bastard, so I kicked him out. You can stay here! Nobody can do anything to you."

Upon hearing this, Lin Qingtong smiled helplessly and explained.

“Grandpa really didn’t need to do this. I’ve already decided to move out, and I’ve already found a place.”

The old man of the Jiang family didn't say anything, but simply took a property certificate from someone else and placed it directly in Lin Qingtong's palm.

"This villa is already registered in your name; you have to take it whether you want it or not."

“It is our Jiang family that has wronged you and caused you to suffer. You must accept this villa. Moreover, I have clearly stated that it is only given to you and has nothing to do with him.”

Even the old patriarch of the Jiang family no longer wants to call Jiang Hao by his name.

Jiang Hao took in the whole scene, his teeth practically grinding to powder.

He couldn't understand why someone like Lin Qingtong was so favored by his grandfather, when he was the grandson of the Jiang family!

Lin Qingtong must have pulled some strings behind the scenes.

His gaze toward Lin Qingtong grew increasingly cold, but the most important thing now was to stay in the villa.

So Jiang Hao stepped forward and walked up to Lin Qingtong, looking heartbroken as he spoke.

"Qingtong, I know I was wrong, please forgive me! Qi Huimin is pregnant, and we've been kicked out, we have nowhere to live at all."

Lin Qingtong didn't want to see Jiang Hao's true colors.

He brought his mistress home before she even divorced him, and kept telling her about Jiang Hao's pregnancy in front of her.

If it's truly the person who can't have children, they're already under immense pressure, and then their husband keeps saying that other women are pregnant and asking them to be understanding.

The thought of this made Lin Qingtong feel utterly ridiculous.

If you truly understand someone, why would you repeatedly stab them in the sore spot with a knife?

Lin Qingtong lowered her eyes and sneered as she spoke.

"What does it have to do with me that you have nowhere to stay?"

When the old master of the Jiang family saw Lin Qingtong like this, he quickly stepped forward to protect her.

"Why are you forcing her here? I was the one who ordered you to leave."

Jiang Hao looked at his grandfather, his eyes reddening, and made a request.

"Grandpa, you can't be so heartless! Qi Huimin is carrying your great-grandson! How can you be so cruel as to send us to sleep under bridges on the street?"

Seeing Jiang Hao crying and sobbing like this, the old master of the Jiang family frowned.

"What are you crying for, you grown men?! I never said I was going to send you to live on the streets!"

In that instant, Jiang Hao's eyes lit up; she knew that her grandfather must have softened his heart.

Then we heard the next sentence from the old man of the Jiang family.

"The old house I lived in when I started my business is still there. It's cool in winter and warm in summer. It has one bedroom and three living rooms and is on the first floor. I can grow vegetables when I have nothing to do."

Jiang Hao was instantly struck dumb, frozen in place, and asked incredulously.

"What? You're going to kick us out of that old house? Nobody's lived there for years! It's such a run-down place, it's impossible for anyone to live there!"

Upon hearing this, the old master of the Jiang family snorted coldly.

"Go or don't go, the key is here anyway. Tongtong, come to the study with me, I have something to tell you."

Lin Qingtong lowered her eyes and followed the old man of the Jiang family into the study, only to see a table full of food laid out there.

A delicate fragrance rose gently, its color, aroma, and taste all appealing, instantly whetting Lin Qingtong's appetite.

She looked at the old man of the Jiang family in surprise, "Grandpa, what's going on?"

The old man of the Jiang family smiled and pulled Lin Qingtong to sit down.

"I thought you'd be hungry when you got home from get off work, so come and eat. These are all your favorite dishes."

He always remembered Lin Qingtong's favorite flavors and dishes, something he had never remembered in all the years he had been married to Jiang Hao.

A warm feeling flowed through Lin Qingtong's heart as she sat down to eat with Old Master Jiang.

After dinner, the old man of the Jiang family comforted him, "Why don't you just stay here peacefully and keep this old man company?"

“They’ve all been driven away, and I’ll have the bodyguards strictly forbid them from getting close, to ensure they won’t disturb you.”

He rested his hands on his knees, suddenly sighed, and spoke in a heavy voice.

“I know you’ve been wronged in this matter, but I still hope you’ll be my granddaughter-in-law. You can be a couple with Jiang Hao in name only.”

These words reached Lin Qingtong's ears, and she looked at the Jiang family patriarch with a serious expression.

"Grandpa, why are you so insistent on not getting a divorce?"

A hint of melancholy and pain flashed in the eyes of the old man of the Jiang family, but it was gone in an instant, and he quickly answered with a smile.

“I’m just worried that after the divorce, I’ll never see you again, my little girl, or hear you call me grandpa again.”

"Moreover, from ancient times to the present, people have always valued family reunion, and divorce is believed to harm a person's fortune."

Listening to what the old man of the Jiang family was saying, Lin Qingtong smiled helplessly. The old man was very fond of believing in these feng shui things.

The old man of the Jiang family treated her so well that she really couldn't bear to actually bring up the topic of divorce, and thought she would find a suitable opportunity to say it later.

At this moment, the old man of the Jiang family only thought that Lin Qingtong and Jiang Hao were getting a divorce, and he never expected that they had already arranged a time to collect the divorce certificate.

After leaving the Jiang family, Madam Jiang and Jiang Hao went directly to the first floor of that old house.

Upon seeing the room filled with cobwebs, Madam Jiang broke down in tears.

"What kind of nonsense is this? Living in a place like this? The old man is so biased!"

Jiang Hao's face was equally gloomy. He helped Qi Huimin to the door, his eyes full of disgust, but he managed to hide it.

He has never liked to show his bad moods and wants to be a reserved and calm person.

Qi Huimin was shocked when she saw the room. The walls were yellowed beyond recognition, the floor tiles were raised and covered in dust. It was clear that no one had lived there for many years.

Cao Kui carried the group's belongings to the doorway of the room and then expressed his utmost loyalty in a low voice.

"Brother Jiang, don't worry, I will never leave like those scoundrels. I will stay here with you. I'll start cleaning now, you can go out first."

He hurriedly grabbed the broom next to him and started cleaning. Madam Jiang and Jiang Hao had no intention of helping at all.

Jiang Hao and Qi Huimin finally went to bed late at night after all that fuss.

Suddenly, the door creaked open, and Qi Huimin came out of the room and sneaked into Cao Kui's room.
