Qi Huimin covered her face and looked at Lin Qingtong in disbelief, her expression contorted for a moment.
"You actually dared to hit me! Brother Hao will not let you get away with this."
Lin Qingtong stared coldly at Qi Huimin in front of her, "Don't think that no one knows what you've done."
“You accepted the gift my mother sent, and then deliberately tried to sow discord between us.”
"I only slapped you once because you're pregnant. Otherwise, you'd be throwing you out the door."
Under the bright and dazzling crystal chandelier, Lin Qingtong stood there coldly, her whole body exuding an aura of power and endless chill.
Qi Huimin was startled by her gaze, a chill ran down her spine, and she felt inexplicably uneasy.
She did indeed do it. She thought that since Lin Qingtong wasn't home, it wouldn't be a problem for her to accept these gifts.
Unexpectedly, Lin Qingtong turned around and found out what she had said. Feeling embarrassed, she forced herself to retort.
"Even if I did accept your things, you could have just talked to me nicely. Why did you have to resort to violence?"
Seeing that she was still making up excuses even now, Lin Qingtong raised a mocking smile and slowly approached her.
As soon as she raised her hand, Qi Huimin instinctively stepped back, her face filled with terror.
"What are you doing? Do you want to hit me?"
Lin Qingtong leaned down slightly and patted her shoulder with her slender, green fingers.
"Who said I was going to lay a hand on you? I just think you're a bit dirty."
She lowered her voice and smiled as she reminded him.
"Is the new driver named Cao Kui? I have a pretty good impression of him."
“Jiang Hao seems to have said he can’t have children, but I don’t think that’s very likely, since I saw you with him at the mall last time.”
Upon hearing Lin Qingtong's words, Qi Huimin was immediately alarmed. Her pupils trembled violently, and her lips moved as if she was about to say something when she heard Jiang Hao's questioning voice behind her.
What shopping mall are you talking about?
As soon as she finished speaking, Qi Huimin turned her head sharply and was stunned to see Jiang Hao appear.
She quickly raised her voice to explain, "Sister, you misunderstood. Last time, I asked Cao Kui to take me to the mall to buy Mom a birthday present. I was going to give you all a surprise."
"You're not angry, are you?"
Qi Huimin gave a shy look, but a hint of fear flashed in her eyes.
She stared intently at Jiang Hao, afraid he wouldn't believe what she was saying.
Just then, Jiang Hao walked to Qi Huimin's side and said with a smile, "Why would I be angry?"
Upon hearing Jiang Hao's words, Qi Huimin breathed a sigh of relief, then looked in Lin Qingtong's direction and spoke with red eyes.
"Sister, I was just shopping for gifts a few days ago. You actually said these things to me in order to win back Hao Ge's heart. It makes me so sad."
She raised her hand as if to wipe away tears, while Jiang Hao's gaze lingered on Lin Qingtong, a dark and unfathomable look flashing in his eyes, and a slight itch in his throat.
Lin Qingtong looks much better now than before. She used to pretend to be quite good, but now, in order to win him back, she deliberately bullies the pregnant Qi Huimin.
Jiang Hao's lips curled into a smug and proud smile. It seemed he was still quite capable, being fought over by Lin Qingtong and Qi Huimin; his charm was undeniable.
If Lin Qingtong is willing to obey, I might consider treating her better.
Lin Qingtong exuded coldness, and uttered a sarcastic remark.
"I don't want a rotten cucumber like him, he's stinky and garbage."
Upon hearing Lin Qingtong's words, Jiang Hao was immediately enraged and embarrassed.
"Lin Qingtong, you are shameless. How can you say such things? Someone like you who can't even have children, if you don't have a gentler personality, no one will care when you die at home in your old age."
Lin Qingtong didn't care at all about Jiang Hao's words, and just crossed her arms and sneered.
"Anyway, I'm not the one who can't have children, so you can believe me if you want."
Jiang Hao was so angry that his face was so dark it looked like it could drip water. Qi Huimin saw that things were not going well and was afraid that she would say something she shouldn't.
So Qi Huimin, heavily pregnant, stood between the two of them, tears welling up in her eyes.
"It's all my fault, Hao-ge, sister, please don't argue with me anymore."
She then turned to Lin Qingtong and apologized directly.
"Sister, take your anger out on me. I apologize to you, and I'll do whatever you want."
Upon hearing this, Lin Qingtong's gaze fell thoughtfully on Qi Huimin's slightly protruding belly. She took two steps back, her eyes and brows filled with a bright smile.
"I will compensate you double for these items, and I will also personally apologize to the people who delivered them. I will ask them to come over tomorrow."
Qi Huimin would never have agreed to what Lin Qingtong said, but now she stared intently at Lin Qingtong, her face as pale as paper.
Did Lin Qingtong really know something?
Her eyes flickered slightly, and she could only grit her teeth and agree.
"I'll do whatever my sister says. Is 10,000 yuan enough for these supplements?"
Lin Qingtong gave a cold laugh and said, "Ten thousand yuan isn't enough to buy these things. Remember to show some sincerity, otherwise..."
