Chapter 123 You Ruined Her

Chapter 123 You Ruined Her

Tan Yusu had just taken a couple of bites when she received a call from her mother telling her to come home.

Tan Yusu frowned, looking annoyed, but she forced herself to remain calm and said, "Okay, Mom."

After hanging up the phone, her irritation intensified.

"What's wrong?" Jiang Yimian asked when she noticed something was off.

Tan Yusu gave a mocking sneer, "My dear father has brought another blind date home for me, and wants me to go back and take a look."

Upon hearing this, Jiang Yimian's expression also became serious.

Tan Yusu stood up, her face now all smiles. "I'll persuade each one who comes to leave."

With a heavy heart, Tan Yusu went downstairs and saw a tall figure in the distance. She took two steps closer, and the irritation on her face turned into anger.

The woman in high heels approached quickly, stopping ten meters away. "Mr. Bo, still not giving up?"

Bo Jinzhou glanced at her lazily, his eyes cold and expressionless, as if he were looking at an inanimate object.

"Mianmian has finally recovered, can't you just stop tormenting her?"

"Don't you think Mianmian has suffered enough? Do you want to hurt her again?"

Bo Jinzhou coldly replied, "What happens between us is none of your business."

Previously, Tan Yusu and Chu Yao were most afraid of Bo Jinzhou. He was two years older, had a powerful aura in front of outsiders, was cold and aloof, more mature than his peers, and had a high IQ. Their little tricks were like child's play in front of him.

When Jiang Yimian was a child, she would cause all sorts of trouble with her. Later, she met Chu Yao, and the three of them were almost inseparable.

Bo Jinzhou was like a cat catching mice, blocking them with fences.

He scolds people like he's scolding his grandson.

Now, Tan Yusu was extremely annoyed and found an outlet for her frustration, so she started to speak recklessly, completely forgetting her fear of Bo Jinzhou.

"How is this none of my business? I am Mianmian's best friend. Over the years, every time she has been in trouble, Yaoyao and I have been by her side. You have the least right to say such things."

Bo Jinzhou's cold expression cracked slightly, which he naturally knew, which is why he didn't retaliate against Tan Yusu's accusations and questions.

"Since you went to America and lived happily ever after with Su Yuwan, why didn't you stay in America for the rest of your life?"

"Why don't you two just lock each other up? Why are you still causing trouble for Mianmian?"

Tan Yusu was unaware of the truth about his trip to America back then; all she knew was that he and that scoundrel had betrayed Jiang Yimian.

"You don't deserve to be in front of her at all. You're a beast, an animal, a traitor..."

He started swearing incessantly. Bo Jinzhou looked at Tan Yusu, who had been well-behaved and quiet since childhood, but was led astray by Jiang Yimian and would cower behind Jiang Yimian and Chu Yao in fear after doing something wrong. It was as if he was seeing what kind of person she was for the first time.

The Tan family has strict family rules; if an elder in the Tan family hears someone using vulgar language, they will be punished according to family rules.

It seems that spending too much time with Jiang Yimian and Huo Yun has really changed him.

Bo Jinzhou pressed the pause button with his hand in his pocket.

“I’ve already recorded this. If you don’t want Old Master Tan to find out, you’d better leave here right now.”

Tan Yusu's pupils widened, never expecting Bo Jinzhou to be so insidious.

She was so angry that she was incoherent. She picked up her bag, wanting to smash it but not daring to, yet she couldn't vent her anger if she didn't.

Huo Yun appeared just in time, pulling her arm, "Alright, alright, let him have his way. He's a treacherous villain, we won't bother with him."

With someone stopping her, Tan Yusu felt emboldened and waved her bag in the air.

"Don't stop me, I'll beat this scoundrel to death for Mianmian."

Bo Jinzhou watched the two of them quietly, leaning against the car, unmoved. "Huo Yun, keep an eye on your people, or you'll have a hard time making it in Yanjing."

This was the second time in Huo Yun's life that he had been threatened; the first time was by Bo Jinzhou.

He was filled with resentment, but there was nothing he could do; when you're on someone else's turf, you always have to be humble.

"Alright, alright, let's not get involved anymore. Someone will take care of him eventually."

He was referring to Jiang Yimian.

Tan Yusu's chest heaved violently as she straightened her clothes, her expression grave. "President Bo, Mianmian has already been hurt badly enough by you. Please, have mercy and let her go."

"Back then, you almost caused her to perish in a fire, and you caused her to develop anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder. She even attempted suicide."

"She's already taken so much medicine over the years, are you really going to make her condition worse?"

Towards the end, Tan Yusu began to choke up.

Bo Jinzhou's heart jolted violently, as if a blunt knife was constantly grinding against it.

His icy expression crumbled little by little. "What did you say?"

Tan Yusu looked at him with a smile, "Don't you know?"

"That's true, how could Mianmian possibly tell you about such a vulnerable side of herself?"

She sniffed, her voice thick with nasal congestion, "Eight years ago, when Mianmian learned that you had attended Su Yuwan's victory celebration, she didn't believe it. Because you know how big the conflict was between her and Su Yuwan, she didn't believe you would betray her."

“Even when you went to America with her, Mianmian made excuses for you until she called you and you admitted it yourself.”

"She was tricked into going to the warehouse, and Su Yan wanted to burn her to death. She was trapped in the warehouse and almost died."

“If Lin Zhiren hadn’t saved Mianmian, she would have died.”

"Afterwards, she developed severe post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety disorder, all because of you."

"You're the one who caused her to get this disease, and she still hasn't fully recovered. How dare you come in front of her? You have no heart."

"She used to like you the most. Her first crush was on you when she was young. You don't like her and treat her like a younger sister. That's fine, that's your right. But she doesn't like you anymore, and that's her right."

"If you really feel sorry for her, then stay away from her and let her live her own life."

Tan Yusu's words were like sharp daggers, piercing my heart.

Bo Jinzhou felt a sharp pain in his chest, causing his broad back to bend slowly.

His eyes gradually turned bloodshot. He looked up at her, his voice strained: "What you said, is it true?"

Tan Yusu: "Why would I lie to you? Bo Jinzhou, you'd better watch yourself."

Bo Jinzhou took heavy steps, wanting to rush in regardless of everything, but Huo Yun's men reacted quickly and intercepted him.

Just as Bo Jinzhou's men emerged from the shadows and two groups were about to fight, Huo Yun spoke up, "President Bo, it's not appropriate to start a fight here."

"Jiang Yimian is watching from up there."

Bo Jinzhou's chest heaved violently, and he slowly suppressed his urge to rush up to see her.

He gestured for everyone to leave, and Song Zhou, who was standing nearby, looked extremely worried. She took his arm and said, "President Bo, let's go back."

Bo Jinzhou pushed him away and looked up at the twentieth floor of the high-rise building.

This is a one-apartment-per-floor apartment; the lights are still on, but the balcony is empty.

His heart was aching so badly he could hardly breathe. He stood there, everyone had left, and the dim light made him look especially lonely.

The once tall figure was no longer upright; it stood there listlessly, lonely, and helpless.
