Chapter 23 Men's Feelings Towards Women

Chapter 23 Men's Feelings Towards Women

That evening, Han Feng invited the two of them out for dinner.

Jinren Club is not only an entertainment venue, but its chef's skills are comparable to those of a Michelin-starred restaurant chef.

Han Feng handed the tablet to Jiang Yimian, "Little sister, you can order first."

Jiang Yimian accepted the order and, without hesitation, ordered what she liked to eat.

She ordered three cakes alone.

Bo Jinzhou: "Can you finish three servings?"

Jiang Yimian retorted, "It's not like I spent your money, why are you so upset?"

Han Feng clamored, "That's right, Yi Mian can order as much as she wants, it's not like you're treating."

Jiang Yimian was in a good mood and raised an eyebrow at Bo Jinzhou.

Bo Jinzhou chuckled softly, his eyes filled with doting affection.

Han Feng wanted to chat while eating, but Jiang Yimian was focused on eating and didn't have time to pay attention to him, so Han Feng turned the conversation to Bo Jinzhou.

"I heard your uncle has been harassing you a lot lately."

Bo Jinzhou ate slowly and deliberately. He hadn't eaten well at lunch and was now very hungry. His reply was also nonchalant: "Mm."

"Hiss, your uncle doesn't still want to go against you, does he?"

Bo Jinzhou glanced at him, and Han Feng shut up.

He noticed a dirty spot on Jiang Yimian's lips out of the corner of his eye, grabbed a napkin and wiped it for her. "Eat slowly, don't choke. Their new juice is pretty good, want some?"

"Okay, thanks, Brother Hanfeng."

Bo Jinzhou watched coldly as Han Feng wiped her mouth, a chilling smile curving his thin lips. "You don't have hands, do you know how to wipe yourself?"

Jiang Yimian rolled her eyes: "What's it to you?"

Han Feng: "Exactly, what's it to you?"

The two are completely on the same side.

Jiang Yimian ate until she was half full before she could finally chat with Han Feng. "Brother Han Feng, do you know what I hate the most right now?"

Han Feng readily agreed, "What?"

"Seaweed and liars."

Han Feng glanced at Bo Jinzhou and said with great interest, "I guess the seaweed should be Lu Yiwan, and that liar is definitely A Jin."

Jiang Yimian clapped her hands: "Wow, Brother Han Feng, you're amazing!"

Han Feng smiled and loosened his tie: "That's right."

Bo Jinzhou coldly retorted, "Don't make veiled accusations. If you want to swear, then swear."

Jiang Yimian ignored him. "Brother Han Feng, you and I are on the same team, right?"

"Of course, your enemy is my enemy."

"From now on, Bo Jinzhou will be our common enemy."

Bo Jinzhou reached out and pinched her cheek. "Jiang Yimian, speak properly."

Jiang Yimian cried out in pain, tears welling up in her eyes: "Brother Han Feng, look how he's treating me now. No wonder he's with someone like Lu Yiwan; he's no good."

Han Feng clicked his tongue and yelled at him, "Bo Jinzhou, you've lost your mind! You're bullying Mianmian with Lu Yiwan again."

Bo Jinzhou was furious. "When did I get together with her?"

Jiang Yimian rested her chin on her hand: "Seaweed soup~ Seaweed soup~"

Han Feng understood. "Since you like seaweed soup so much, I'll order some for you."

As he spoke, he ordered another seaweed soup on his tablet.

When the seaweed soup was served, Bo Jinzhou's face darkened. Jiang Yimian covered her mouth and chuckled; Bo Jinzhou's discomfort made her feel better.

Bo Jinzhou didn't touch the seaweed soup; he had developed an aversion to seaweed and felt nauseous just from the smell.

Han Feng also invited other people to join in the fun. These were people Jiang Yimian had never met before. Yanjing is never short of rich people. Jiang Yimian's previous social circle consisted of people who actively fawned over her.

Later, when she fell out of favor and Lu Yiwan took her place, those people also turned against her.

Bo Jinzhou sat on a single sofa, his tall, slender figure accentuated by a thin black sweater, exuding an air of aloofness and nobility.

He held a cigarette between his fingers, his eyelids drooping lazily, his thoughts drifting far away, appearing somewhat nonchalant.

Han Feng held a glass of whiskey in his hand and said, "If you don't want your sister to break off your friendship, you should stay away from Lu Yiwan."

Bo Jinzhou's gaze fell on Jiang Yimian, who was playing cards in the distance, and she showed a genuine smile that she hadn't seen in a long time.

"I have my own plans." His voice was hoarse from smoking, and it sounded somewhat authoritative, as if he wouldn't allow anyone to interfere.

"Hehe, anyway, I'm on my sister's side. If you really marry Lu Yiwan, I'll definitely take my sister to smash your wedding."

Bo Jinzhou's eyes crinkled with laughter. "Aren't you afraid of your old man?"

"Even if he breaks my legs, I'm still going."

"I'm starting to seriously doubt whether you're planning to switch sides. You and Mianmian have been together since birth. If you abandon your family for love, you're really not a human being. Aunt Jiang and your mother will be furious with you."

Bo Jinzhou gave him a cold look. "You're all burned to ashes, how can you jump up now?"

Han Feng: "Then I'll have to haunt you in the middle of the night and strangle you."

He lightly tapped his fingertip, the ash falling to the ground. He took a drag, exhaling a cloud of white smoke that partially obscured his sharp features, making him appear even more enigmatic.

"I have absolutely no kinship with her."

Upon hearing this, Han Feng slammed the glass onto the table.

Everyone was startled by the noise and turned around to look.

Han Feng was so angry he was practically grinding his teeth to powder. "You get out here right now!"

Jiang Yimian glanced at the two of them blankly, then ignored them and continued playing her own game.

On the balcony, as Bo Jinzhou approached, Han Feng turned around and punched him in the face.

Bo Jinzhou stumbled and almost lost his balance.

Anger flashed in his cold eyes, and the next moment Han Feng grabbed his sweater collar, "Are you even human? Who was it that said they would treat Mianmian like their own sister?"

"You said you'd protect her for life, what the hell are you doing now?"

Bo Jinzhou lowered his eyelids, pried open his hand and pushed him away forcefully, wiped the wound on the corner of his mouth, there was a little blood, moved his tongue and spat the blood foam into the soil of the money tree next to him.

"She and I are not biological siblings."

Just as Han Feng stepped forward to deliver another punch, Bo Jinzhou's cold, deep voice, tinged with a gritty quality, said, "I want to marry her."

Han almost lost control, his fist stopping mid-air: "What?"

"I said, I want to marry her."

Han Feng lowered his hand, turned around, and scratched his hair. "Didn't you treat Mianmian like a little sister?"

Just like him, Han Feng instantly felt a chill. What was the difference between this and promiscuity?

Bo Jinzhou glanced at him. "Just because she's a sister doesn't mean I can't marry her?"

"Fuck you!" Han Feng snapped, "Are you out of your mind? You don't even like Mianmian, yet you still married her. Aren't you ruining Mianmian's life?"

Bo Jinzhou stood with his hands in his pockets, exuding a cold yet arrogant aura. "Just because I don't like someone doesn't mean I can't marry her. Besides, I have feelings for her."

Han Feng: "How does it feel?"

"The feelings men have for women."

Han Feng broke down again, shoving him against the wall and gripping his neck with his forearm. "You fucking beast! You said you'd take good care of Mianmian and take her to live in the Cloud Village, but you were just satisfying your animalistic desires."
