Chapter 54 That bastard will still bump into you, can't you be angry?

Tan Yusu's concerns were not unfounded.

In Beijing, a place where every inch of land is precious and rife with opportunities for exploitation, the exchange of interests between wealthy families is no secret.

Just like arranged marriages within families, who in the industry can truly live the life they want?

Bo Jinzhou has achieved his current position through ruthless methods and inhumane decision-making.

She wasn't actually confident that she could sway Bo Jinzhou's mind.

But she had no choice but to gamble. Huo Laoda was the force she was supposed to leverage, while Bo Jinzhou was the sharp blade piercing her heart.

None of them can be missing.

Using her grandfather's connections to ask Mr. Huo for help wasn't as simple as it seemed. Mr. Huo had been keeping her on the hook, simply telling her that she would have to pay a price to get his help.

The cost is currently unclear.

But we should still give it a try.

"Don't worry, Bo Jinzhou likes my body at least now. As long as there's something that attracts him, I'm confident that even if he can't help me get rid of Lu Wenchang in the end, I still have Boss Huo."

If one party's needs are met, that's enough.

Tan Yusu hugged her, "Although I don't approve of you selling your body, there's no other way. I'm sorry, Mianmian, I can't help you with anything."

Although she was favored, the Tan family was not under her control, and her older brothers and sisters were even less likely to go against Lu Wenchang.

She could only offer a small helping hand.

Jiang Yimian smiled and said, "Alright, you've already helped enough. I'm afraid you'll get involved."

Tan Yusu: "I am a member of the Tan family, Lu Wenchang wouldn't dare to do anything to me."

Chu Yao came in with the wine, his voice lazy and casual: "That's right, if Lu Wenchang wants to mess with us, he should first consider whether he's worth the cost of the two of us."

Chu Yao brought them cocktails, but Tan Yusu didn't dare drink too much since she had to go back later.

Chu Yao opened his phone and said, "You know, Lu Wenchang really went all out. He's been suppressing Lu Yiwan's dirt all this time. Some netizens wanted to find out which university Lu Yiwan went to in the United States, but they couldn't find out."

"It seems that Lu Wenchang has invested a lot of money in Lu Yiwan," Tan Yusu concluded.

Jiang Yimian didn't say anything, but she felt that something was wrong.

Lu Wenchang has little control over overseas affairs, and with the Jiang family also affected, he simply doesn't have the energy to care about netizens digging into Lu Yiwan's affairs in the United States.

He's so busy, yet he can still keep going. His physical condition is quite good. It's just a pity he didn't work himself to death.

Bo Jinzhou called Jiang Yimian after the dinner party ended.

Jiang Yimian's thoughts returned, "Hey."

Where is it?

Bo Jinzhou's voice was a little hoarse, probably because he had been drinking.

Jiang Yimian: "Autumn falls."

Over there, the man with his eyes closed slowly opened them. His dark eyes were unreadable in the dim light. After a two-second silence, he said, "I'll come pick you up."

Jiang Yimian finished the last sip of her cocktail, grabbed her bag, and stood up. "I'm leaving."

Tan Yusu quickly grabbed her bag, "Together."

The two stood outside the bar waiting when Tan's driver and Bo Jinzhou's car arrived together.

"Mianmian is gone."

Jiang Yimian nodded. Song Zhou got out of the car and opened the back door. Bo Jinzhou, with his tall and slender figure, sat inside. He had taken off his coat and was draped over his knees. He looked at her with a cool and aloof expression.

As Jiang Yimian bent down to get into the car, she smelled a strong odor of alcohol.

The taste of baijiu (Chinese liquor).

"Why did you drink so much? It's everywhere in the carriage."

Her tone was reproachful, and Bo Jinzhou's breathing became heavy. He touched her hand; it was cold.

He pressed the back of her hand against his face. "How long have you been waiting?"

Jiang Yimian felt the burning heat of his cheek on the back of her hand. "Five or six minutes, I guess."

Jiang Yimian leaned closer, her gaze searching over him. Bo Jinzhou chuckled and pressed her head down. "What are you looking at?"

"Baby, I'll take it off and show you when we get back."

Master Zhang and Song Zhou were immediately embarrassed. The partition was raised, and Jiang Yimian glared at him with a red face.

He muttered, "He's sick."

"I'm just exercising my rights, is that not allowed?"

Bo Jinzhou's dark eyes held a hazy, intoxicated look as he lazily raised an eyebrow: "What rights?"

Jiang Yimian poked his chest with her slender fingertips. "It's Mrs. Bo's right. Who knows if any women at the dinner party will throw themselves at you, and you just accept them all?"

Bo Jinzhou grabbed her fingertips and pulled her forward, his voice hoarse and textured: "Then you should check carefully. If there's nothing wrong, I'll have to exercise my rights."

Jiang Yimian glanced at it casually, "At least you're honest."

She tried to pull herself back, but he held her firmly. "Let go, I'm uncomfortable leaning this way."

There was a handrail between them, and she leaned forward a lot, which made her sore after a while.

Bo Jinzhou leaned closer, pulled her into his arms, and pinched her cheek. "It's my turn."

Jiang Yimian hugged herself and refused, saying, "Get out."

Bo Jinzhou placed his large hand on the side of her neck, tilted his head to look at her, and said, "I advise you to accept it."

Jiang Yimian reached out and hooked her arm around his neck, gripping his tie tightly. "I'll strangle you, you believe me?"

Bo Jinzhou laughed, with a hint of arrogance befitting someone in a superior position, "Believe me, then strangle me."

Damn it, that's so damn despicable.

Bo Jinzhou kissed her, and the taste of the liquor made Jiang Yimian disgusted. She turned her head away, saying, "Your liquor doesn't taste good. It's not as good as my cocktail."

Bo Jinzhou licked his thin lips with the tip of his tongue. "Really? Let me try it."

He pressed down on her neck and kissed her again, this time with great force, his relentless pursuit leaving her no chance to escape.

Bo Jinzhou's hand once again wandered into her sweater, and Jiang Yimian leaned softly against his strong arm.

Bo Jinzhou only released her when she was almost out of breath, his grip on her hand sometimes light and sometimes heavy.

The review stated: "The cocktail really tastes good, much better than baijiu (Chinese liquor)."

Jiang Yimian leaned against him, breathing rapidly. She felt a little ashamed when she heard his words. She closed her eyes and said in a tight voice, "Bo Jinzhou, I feel dizzy."

Bo Jinzhou opened the window a little. "Who told you to hold your breath? I taught you how to breathe, and you didn't like it."

Jiang Yimian raised her watery eyes, "It would be fine if you just didn't kiss me."

Bo Jinzhou smiled lazily, his cold, sharp eyes softening: "This is my right, and I must abide by it, even if you are Mrs. Bo."

"You bastard."

She was so angry that she could only curse.

Once they reached the top of the mountain, Bo Jinzhou carried her up, pinned her to the bed, and thrust his strong, lean waist and abdomen violently. A wicked smile curled at the corner of his mouth: "That bastard still managed to bump into you, doesn't that make you angry?"
