Chapter 62 He vented his anger by wrecking her victory celebration party.

Chapter 62 He vented his anger by wrecking her victory celebration party.

The banquet will be held at a villa on a hillside, far from the city and surrounded by forests, where there will be many people and distractions.

It's hard to guarantee that Lu Wenchang won't make a move at that time.

Bo Jinzhou was extremely displeased when he heard her words. He grabbed her chin and said in a cold tone, "Jiang Yimian, when will you learn to talk to me with such confidence before we discuss this matter again?"

After saying that, Bo Jinzhou got up and went upstairs.

Jiang Yimian felt that he had a problem. Wasn't it enough that he had a good attitude?

She jogged forward and grabbed him, standing a little taller than him on the two steps: "Bo Jinzhou, do you have masochistic tendencies?"

The man merely glanced at her, walked past her, and continued upstairs. Jiang Yimian grew anxious.

"Hey, don't go!"

She grabbed Bo Jinzhou, stepped forward again onto the steps, and poked his chest with her fingertip: "You bastard, I order you to arrange for someone to protect me secretly, or you'll regret it."

Bo Jinzhou's cold expression softened, and he took her hand. "Okay."

He bent down, hoisted her onto his shoulder, and walked towards the room.

Jiang Yimian flailed her legs, her slippers falling to the ground. "You bastard, put me down!"

His shoulders were so hard and sturdy that they hurt Jiang Yimian's stomach.

He threw her onto the bed, and her slender body bounced twice on the bed. Before Jiang Yimian could react, the man pressed down on her.

Her lips were sealed, and Jiang Yimian struggled twice before he pinned her legs down.

The blanket became wrinkled, and Jiang Yimian bit him hard. Bo Jinzhou frowned as he looked at her.

Jiang Yimian slapped him, "Are you fucking sick?"

Bo Jinzhou chuckled, licking the corner of his mouth with his tongue. "I have something to discuss with you."

Jiang Yimian said sternly, "Speak."

Bo Jinzhou: "Can you please stop slapping me in the face? Would you still want me if I were disfigured?"

Jiang Yimian slapped him again, but the man didn't even tilt his head. "No way!"

Forget about disfigurement, she wouldn't want him even if he were dressed in the most flamboyant way.

Bo Jinzhou was amused by her words, and pressed her down to kiss her hard again, saying, "My people will be protecting you in secret from the moment you get out of the car."

Jiang Yimian was out of breath. "I know, get out of here."

Bo Jinzhou narrowed his eyes: "What's wrong with a couple of kisses? Is Princess Mianmian being too petty?"

Jiang Yimian retorted, "I'm petty, but your Lu Yiwan is generous. Go find her then."

Bo Jinzhou stopped, his cold, sharp eyes fixed on her as he pinched her chin, forcing her to look at him.

"Why isn't it your Lu Yiwan? Why are you trying to pin this dirty label on me?"

Jiang Yimian's voice was muffled but her tone was forceful: "Don't disgust me."

Bo Jinzhou laughed, "You disgusted me first."

Jiang Yimian, not to be outdone, reached out and grabbed his collar, "It's yours."

Bo Jinzhou: "Yours."

"your!"

Bo Jinzhou lowered his head and bit her pouting lips. "Fine, fine, it's not yours, and it's not mine. Who cares whose it is?"

Jiang Yimian's cheeks were pinched so hard that her lips kept pouting, making it difficult for her to speak clearly.

She simply tightened his collar, and the man's long neck quickly turned red, with veins bulging.

"If you pinch me again, I'll strangle you."

Bo Jinzhou released her, still pinning her down. "Can we have a proper talk?"

Jiang Yimian hadn't let go yet: "Get off me."

Bo Jinzhou was caught between breaths, so he could only let go of her, go to the cabinet to get her a new pair of slippers, and then take his cigarettes and lighter to the balcony to smoke.

Jiang Yimian straightened her clothes; her underwear was crooked. She muttered under her breath, "You bastard."

Jiang Yimian jumped out of bed and went to the bathroom to wash her face.

Because of the struggle, some red marks appeared on her body. Her skin was fair and delicate, and it was easy to leave red marks when she exerted force.

She combed her messy hair, and when she came out of the bathroom, Bo Jinzhou had already finished smoking.

He leaned against the wall, looking at her. "Can we talk now?"

Jiang Yimian: "Go ahead and talk, it's not like we're stopping you from talking."

Bo Jinzhou looked at the marks on her neck, his eyes narrowing upwards.

Do you believe all those rumors circulating outside?

Jiang Yimian blinked, feigning ignorance: "What rumors? I don't know."

Bo Jinzhou scoffed, "You're good at playing dumb, but why can't you trust me?"

Jiang Yimian: "Because that's what you did, do you dare say that the rumors about you and Lu Yiwan weren't something you condoned?"

Bo Jinzhou felt a surge of irritation: "Rumors can also be manipulated."

“I had very little contact with Lu Yiwan in California.”

Jiang Yimian: "But everyone says that you two are often together, and someone saw her visiting you at Stanford."

"You know she's the one who came to see me. If I don't see her, she'll come to see me. Is that something I can stop?"

Jiang Yimian chuckled: "Young Master Bo has connections everywhere, can't he even stop a little Lu Yiwan?"

Bo Jinzhou used to be a powerful figure in Yanjing, but after being sent to the United States, he had nothing.

He sighed and went along with her, saying, "It's my fault."

“Those rumors were deliberately spread by Bo Qingshan and Lu Wenchang. The marriage agreement with the Jiang family was originally between you and me, but it turned into Lu Yiwan's. You know better than me what those two old foxes are up to.”

Jiang Yimian crossed her arms and said, "Isn't it just that you want to pave the way for Lu Yiwan and put all my reputation on Lu Yiwan's shoulders?"

Rumors circulated in Beijing's high society that Jiang Yimian was a good-for-nothing who spent her days hanging out in bars with Chu Yao. Compared to Lu Yiwan's achievements abroad, Jiang Yimian was nothing but a good-for-nothing.

Lu Yiwan has completely become the eldest daughter of the Jiang family.

The prodigy who became famous at the age of fourteen was forgotten by the masses and lost in the long river of time.

Jiang Yimian's expression suddenly turned serious. After a few seconds of silence, she sat down in a chair and looked at Bo Jinzhou. "You were also tricked?"

Bo Jinzhou chuckled lightly: "Otherwise, why would you have thrown so much mud at me?"

Jiang Yimian: "What smears have I thrown at you? Seven years ago, you and she went abroad together on the same plane. And six years ago, didn't you go to her victory celebration party?"

Bo Jinzhou's dark eyes remained cold and expressionless: "Yes."

Jiang Yimian exploded, "Then what did I wrongly accuse you of?"

Bo Jinzhou reassured her, "I didn't know she was going abroad when I left. That plane belonged to Bo Qingshan. I only found out on the day I left."

"It's not true what the outside world says, that I made a promise with her to study abroad together. That's all bullshit."

Jiang Yimian crossed her arms and turned her head away, not wanting to look at him; she couldn't help but scratch his face.

Bo Jinzhou lifted her chin and gently pinched her cheek, then smiled, "I did go to the celebration banquet, but that's because I discovered that her design work wasn't hers."

The man's eyes were deep: "She stole your design draft."

Jiang Yimian's furrowed brows relaxed a little, and she looked at him with a complicated expression.

“I knew she bullied you, so I went to stand up for you. I helped you wreck her celebration party.”
