Chapter 8 Ah Jin is my fiancé

Chapter 8 Ah Jin is my fiancé

Jiang Yimian leaned against the wall, her body slender and thin, almost skin and bones. She brushed her hair aside, revealing her cold and sinister face.

She reached out and tugged at her shirt, unbuttoning two buttons. She raised her hand and slapped herself twice, the sound crisp and clear, without a trace of leniency.

Her hair was disheveled, her cheeks quickly became red and swollen, and when she raised her hand to wipe off her lipstick, her lips appeared pale. She looked utterly disheveled.

She stayed in the bathroom for more than ten minutes before coming out.

Looking at herself in the mirror, she was extremely satisfied and quickly washed her hands.

She had only taken two steps when she suddenly stopped and met Bo Jinzhou's gaze as he leaned against the wall smoking.

She lowered her head in a panic and turned to leave.

Bo Jinzhou stubbed out his cigarette with his long, slender fingers, the hot ash falling into his palm. He caught up with her in just a few steps, grabbed her arm, and asked coldly, "What are you hiding from?"

Who hit him?

Jiang Yimian shook her head, her voice choked and hoarse: "No, no one hit me."

"...Yes, I fell by accident."

Bo Jinzhou's voice was filled with anger: "Jiang Yimian, do you think my eyes are on the top of my head?"

Where did Princess Mianmian go, the one who would drag out eighteen generations of ancestors if someone insulted her?

Her timid, hesitant, and resentful demeanor was unlike her usual self.

Bo Jinzhou felt as if his heart was stuffed with cotton, making it hard for him to breathe.

He brushed aside her long hair with his slender fingers, and Jiang Yimian trembled subconsciously, turning her face away, her cheeks still wet with tears.

A bright red mark appeared on her fair skin, and it was immediately swollen.

A fierce glint appeared in Bo Jinzhou's narrow eyes as he lifted her chin, revealing that her other cheek was also red and swollen.

Jiang Yimian lowered her head in fear, "Brother Jinzhou, please don't force me."

"Really, no one hit me."

She pushed him away forcefully and tried to run away again, but Bo Jinzhou pulled her back with one hand, his face tense and ugly. "Come with me."

Jiang Yimian struggled, "My sister is still in the private room. She's had too much to drink. Go and take her home."

Hearing this, Bo Jinzhou thought she was just being stubborn, so he tightened his arms around her and pulled her into his embrace. "Mind your own business."

He bent down and picked her up. Jiang Yimian buried her face in his chest in fear, as if she were ashamed to be seen by anyone.

“Brother-in-law, you are about to marry my sister. This is not appropriate.”

"I'll be laughed at."

For some reason, hearing this "brother-in-law" made Bo Jinzhou feel even more annoyed and angry. "Jiang Yimian, when did you become so obedient?"

They've started calling him "brother-in-law" like a load of rubbish.

They shoved her into the carriage, and Song Zhou and the driver got in and raised the partition between them.

Bo Jinzhou grabbed her wrist. "Is it Lu Yiwan?"

Jiang Yimian trembled, "No."

He irritably took off his coat and covered her with it. "Jiang Mianmian, you're not good at lying."

The car drove to the villa that Bo Jinzhou had just bought in Yanjing. He hadn't had a chance to move in yet, but all the servants were already on duty, just waiting for their boss to come home.

As soon as Bo Jinzhou returned, everyone immediately became alert and prepared.

Everyone was astonished; it seemed that the man was holding a woman.

Could it be the rumored fiancée of the eldest daughter of the Lu family?

Jiang Yimian gripped his clothes tightly, "Put me down, I can walk by myself."

Bo Jinzhou scoffed: "Then why didn't you retaliate when you were bullied?"

Jiang Yimian: "..." Damn it.

Bo Jinzhou placed her on the sofa, and the maid quickly brought over the first-aid kit, keeping her head down and not daring to look around.

Bo Jinzhou offered her an ice pack, but Jiang Yimian dodged it, saying, "I can do it myself."

Bo Jinzhou gripped the back of her neck: "Don't move."

The man's handsome face was cold and stern, his dark eyes were like black holes, and the atmosphere around him was very tense.

"How did you manage to get yourself into this terrible state?"

Jiang Yimian didn't say anything, letting him ramble on.

"You were bullied but didn't tell me, and you even dared to run away."

"The same thing happened last time. You ran out of the hospital before you were fully recovered. If you're so capable, why didn't you tell me?"

Jiang Yimian: "I'm afraid of upsetting my sister."

Bo Jinzhou seemed to have heard something ridiculous and scoffed, "Trying to disgust me on purpose?"

He knew perfectly well how much she hated Lu Yiwan.

"After all these years, why are you so distant?"

"No matter what, I'm still your brother."

Jiang Yimian looked up at him: "Brother-in-law, my sister is still in Jinren."

Bo Jinzhou: "..."

So after all that talk, the girl still didn't understand?

Mind your own business.

Jiang Yimian: "I'm managing it quite well."

Knowing that it was still in her mouth, Bo Jinzhou smiled with satisfaction and switched the dressing to the other side.

"Go ahead and sue me if you want, I'll help you get revenge."

Jiang Yimian stopped talking, looking like she couldn't be bothered to pay him any attention.

Jiang Yimian left early in the morning; Bo Jinzhou hadn't expected her to get up so early.

Song Zhou investigated Jiang Yimian's situation over the years.

It was sent to Bo Jinzhou's Apple in the form of a document, containing only a few words.

Most of it was about her time at school.

After being admitted to the jewelry design program at Yenching University, she consistently ranked first in her class every year, but strangely enough, she never participated in any competitions.

Later, he was recommended for postgraduate studies and continued to bury himself in his studies, attending lectures by renowned professors, spending his time in workshops and libraries, living a routine life with no social or entertainment activities.

At most, I'll just go to Chu Yao's bar for a bit and then leave.

In the past seven years, I only attended a high-society gathering six years ago. After that, I gradually faded out of the circle and became a truly invisible person.

Those in the industry describe her as aloof, arrogant, and useless, unlike her sister Lu Yiwan who is gentle, generous, and has a good personality.

Bo Jinzhou's voice, hoarse and hard from just waking up in the morning, asked, "That's all?"

Song Zhou: "Miss Jiang has not experienced any accidents over the years. On the contrary, she has been very calm. Everyone knows that she is focused on her studies, but she has not achieved much."

Compared to Lu Yiwan, who became an overnight sensation in the jewelry design world at the age of twenty-one with her original works, Jiang Yimian was ridiculed and mocked by many rich young men and women.

They laughed at her, saying she wasn't as successful as the daughter of a nanny who rose to power.

She actually endured all the ridicule.

The more Bo Jinzhou looked at his heart area, the more uncomfortable he felt.

He threw the apple on the table with a thud.

Jiang Yimian went back to school and took a nap, but was woken up by a phone call not long after she fell asleep.

A sharp voice suddenly rang in his ears: "Jiang Yimian, are you fucking with A Jin?"

Jiang Yimian opened her cold eyes, a smug smile playing on her lips: "Guess."

This provocative, smug Jiang Yimian seemed like a completely different person from the submissive Jiang Yimian of the past. A chill ran down Lu Yiwan's spine, and she lost control of her emotions, saying, "Last night, Jin Ren's waiter said that the woman A Jin was holding was you?"

"Do you fucking want to die? Ah Jin is my fiancé, you shameless slut, I'm going to tell Dad to beat you to death."

Jiang Yimian sneered and hung up the phone.
