Chapter 94 I'm not having children
"Run! Why have you stopped running?"
The man gritted his teeth and pinched her chin hard with his fingertips, forcing her to lift it.
Tears welled up in Tan Yusu's eyes from the pain. "Second Brother Huo, if you dare to touch me in Yanjing, my eldest brother will not let you get away with it."
Huo Yun chuckled, "Little sister, have you forgotten that you've already given yourself to me?"
Su Xin felt a tremor in her heart.
Six months have passed since then, but I never expected that he would still catch me.
She went to Hong Kong to find Master Huo, but she had no way to do so. Master Huo was old and rarely left his house, so she didn't have much time to stay in Hong Kong, and she couldn't let her family find out that she was helping Jiang Yimian.
Left with no other option, they went to the largest casino in the port city to obtain information, but the rule there was to exchange it for exorbitantly priced treasures.
Her savings were only five or six million, and casinos have no shortage of money. Her amount was nothing to them.
She could only frequent casinos to inquire about the casino boss, hoping to make a deal with him.
She hadn't thought about what kind of deal to make yet; she just wanted to try her luck. Maybe she could get some useful information by using her brother's name, which wouldn't be a complete waste of time.
Later, she discovered Huo Yun during a large-scale gambling event. The man was arrogant, cocky, and roguish like a street thug. Subconsciously, Tan Yusu listed him as a dangerous person, but the people in the casino treated him with utmost respect. When someone cheated on his turf, he didn't even blink and ordered his men to chop off the other person's hand.
To be honest, this was the first time in Tan Yusu's 23 years of smooth sailing that she had ever seen such a bloody and violent side.
She wanted to back down, but when she thought about how Jiang Yimian had placed all her hopes on this, she decided to go all out. At worst, she would ask her older brother to rescue her.
She and Chu Yao had agreed that if she lost contact, she should immediately call his brother for help.
Tan Yusu took the initiative to approach Huo Yun and challenged him.
Huo Yun was immediately drawn to the young girl the first time he saw her. Her beautiful and bright face was neither humble nor arrogant, but her hands trembled incessantly, and even her voice was shaking.
But she insisted on being strong. Huo Yun thought she was like a little white rabbit, and a very individualistic little white rabbit at that.
Perhaps Huo Yun's life was too boring and repetitive, so he took pity on her and played with her. The little girl was just naive, and he wanted to see if she would be so scared that she would call for her mother.
And so the two began their bet, comparing sizes.
Without a doubt, Tan Yusu is just a little chick in front of Huo Yun, and can be won over without any tricks.
Huo Yun just wanted to tease her; he never even considered asking for any bets.
But the little white rabbit insisted on giving it to her.
Huo Yun reluctantly agreed, but the girl then said she wanted to be his girlfriend and give herself to him in return.
He subconsciously assumed that the little white rabbit was sent by his rival to get back at him.
Huo Yun's attitude suddenly changed.
As a result, Tan Yusu stayed at the casino and spread rumors that she was Huo Yun's woman.
Many people at the casino believed her and even called her "sister-in-law".
She got close to Huo Yun by acting like a jerk and a rogue. Huo Yun wanted to investigate her background, but then felt it was unnecessary. Subconsciously, he thought the girl was quite pretty.
He tacitly approved of all her willful methods. Besides, Huo Yun didn't care whose woman she was; as long as she caught his eye, he would snatch her even if she was his elder brother's woman.
And so the two embarked on the shortest relationship in history.
Five days.
On the fifth day, Tan Yusu got the news and ran away.
Huo Yun searched the entire city of Hong Kong but couldn't find Tan Yusu, and he couldn't find any information about her either.
Until he arrived in Yanjing.
Huo Yun grabbed her waist and pulled her onto his lap. "Little rabbit, so you're the daughter of the Tan family in Yanjing. I had your older brother block your information so I could find you easily."
Tan Yusu blushed; the action was too embarrassing, especially since there were other people on the bus.
"Huo Yun, I've already broken up with you, what more do you want?"
The man curled his lips into a smirk, his smile both roguish and cheeky: "Little white rabbit, once you become my woman, there's no end to your choices."
"I told you that from the beginning, do you really think I'm a pushover?"
Tan Yusu's voice tightened: "This, this is Yanjing. If you dare to touch me, I'll have my older brother chop you up."
Huo Yun spread his arms wide, raised his chin, and said arrogantly, "Fine, I haven't met my brother-in-law yet."
Let's meet up sometime.
Tan Yusu was furious and cursed him, "You scoundrel, you bastard, you hooligan, let me go back right now!"
Huo Yun pinched the back of her neck and kissed her lips hard. "Little sister, it's been so long, you've become more and more beautiful."
Tan Yusu was so frightened that she didn't dare to move. "If you like pretty girls, I'll find you some. I know a lot of pretty girls. My looks are nothing special in Yanjing."
Huo Yun laughed, "But you're to my liking, and in my eyes you're the most handsome."
"Come on, come sleep with me."
That's a real scoundrel; she's really run into some thugs.
*
Jiang Yimian had a nightmare in which she dreamt that her mother died with her eyes wide open, filled with resentment.
She held her mother's ashes and cried for a long, long time. Her world was gray, and everyone had left her.
She endured it all alone for a very, very long time.
Until a fire surrounded her, she was plunged into endless despair once again.
Before her stood a disheveled figure—Lin Zhiren.
Jiang Yimian subconsciously reached out her hand, and those large, well-defined hands firmly grasped hers. But when she looked up, she saw Bo Jinzhou's face.
She woke up with a start, her breathing trembling and rapid. She was covered in sweat. In the darkness, she could see the outline of the chandelier on the ceiling.
She suddenly sat up, reached out and turned on the bedside lamp. She huddled at the head of the bed, curling herself up little by little.
The bedroom door opened, and Bo Jinzhou's eyes narrowed. He quickly stepped forward and pulled her into his arms. "Mianmian, I'm here."
Jiang Yimian closed her eyes, breathing weakly, her voice hoarse: "Are Su Yuwan and Su Yan dead?"
Bo Jinzhou: "No, Su Yuwan's injuries were minor, and Su Yan's 80% burns have been successfully treated, but Lu Wenchang refused to pay her medical bills, and she won't be able to hold on much longer."
Jiang Yimian looked up, her eyes bloodshot: "Take me there."
She wanted to watch Su Yan die a painful death, just like her mother.
Bo Jinzhou turned on all the lights and dressed her, saying, "Take your medicine first."
Jiang Yimian: "I'm fine, I don't need to take any medicine."
Bo Jinzhou's eyes were cold, and his attitude left no room for refusal: "Take your medicine first, then go."
Jiang Yimian frowned: "I don't need to take medicine. That medicine is for people who are preparing to have children. I'm not having children."
Both of them were taken aback by these words. Jiang Yimian immediately felt guilty and lowered her eyes to avoid looking at him.
Bo Jinzhou's fingertips stiffened slightly. He deliberately softened his breathing, but his expression remained calm. "I don't want to have children now. We can have them later, but we need to get our bodies in good condition first."
