Several scantily clad girls were standing at the entrance, soliciting customers.
Qu Jingyun suddenly laughed.
She turned her head to look at Qi Yun'er, who was staring at her warily, and asked, "Do you think these girls are working so hard because there are other benefits? Or are there other tasks they're assigned?"
Upon hearing this, Qi Yun'er's heart tightened.
She stared nervously at Qu Jingyun, "I don't know what you're talking about."
Qu Jingyun nodded seriously.
"It's normal that you don't understand because you're not very bright."
Qi Yun'er's face darkened instantly.
Qu Jingyun is out of her mind!
She raised an eyebrow, her expression suddenly turning serious: "What, do you have a problem with what I said?"
Qi Yun'er smiled and shook her head, "Of course not, I think what you said is right, but these are all just for show, what kind of mission could they possibly have?"
After saying that, Qi Yun'er interrupted Qu Jingyun to continue reading about Zuixianglou by bringing up another topic.
"Sister, Yue'er doesn't have many decent outfits yet. Since we have some time today, why don't we go and buy her a few more?"
Seeing how nervous she was, Qu Jingyun let out a soft laugh.
"I was just saying it casually and it scared you like this. You're such a coward."
