Chapter 71: Serial Killing Gang Suffers Serial Killings (6) “Originally…

After this voice message, Wei Lai seemed to be afraid that Si Ling would reject him, so he immediately added: "If you don't like it, I can think of something else! Everything is negotiable!"

Si Ling sensed his eagerness to rescue his companions and laughed, "That's great. Please send me the location."

Several other Porcelain ghosts watched the entire scene. Li Qi had a complicated expression on his face: "Money really can make the world go round..."

"You're a bastard who doesn't make money when you have it." Si Ling put away the Tongming Plate with a refreshed look.

A dozen seconds later, Weilai shared the coordinates. Si Ling saw that it was a villa in the suburbs. He opened the compass in the Tongming disk to find the direction, then waved to his companions, "Let's go and save the situation."

After saying that, the group walked through the bustling streets of the foggy city, passed through the refugee settlements that were causing headaches for the local citizens, and soon left the city.

The prosperity was left behind by them, replaced by a slightly desolate but more wild natural scenery. However, no one was interested in stopping to appreciate it. They continued to float towards the coordinates sent by Vile. Half an hour later, a pure white villa with a very cyber feel came into view.

A few people walked around the villa and found that all the doors and windows were tightly sealed with special devices. Such a device would be impossible to find in an ordinary household, but since Isaac combined the two characters of "Frankenstein" and "serial killer", the existence of such a device was not surprising.

However, this setting was useless against spirit-like ghosts. Si Ling stopped at the back of the room and chanted a spell: "Netherworld Vision."

As soon as she finished speaking, her vision changed immediately. Everything in the world became blurry, and only a few dark shadows in the corner of the second floor were clearly visible.

"This way." Si Ling jumped up and went to the second floor with his companions, heading straight for the target.

"Wha——" The vampire Clement was already nervous, and the ghost that appeared beside him almost made him scream. Fortunately, Willey reacted quickly and suppressed his scream so as not to alarm Isaac who was looking for them everywhere.

"...Sorry, I'll send a message in advance next time." Si Ling said as he looked around and found that this was a mezzanine in the wall. He didn't know how they got in.

Wei Lai saw Si Ling as if he had seen a savior. Although he didn't dare to speak loudly, he grabbed her arm and said, "Please!"

Si Ling retracted his gaze: "Tell me, where was Aurelio taken?"

The direct question caused the atmosphere in the mezzanine to stagnate. The vampires looked at each other in shock. Clement directly asked Willy: "You said it directly?!"

"No." Si Ling shrugged, smiling at the embarrassed vampires in front of him, "But we all get along well. If it was someone else who was captured, Willey would have told me the name directly. Using the pseudonym 'team member' to cover it up, who else could it be except Aurelio?"

Willey was extremely embarrassed, but besides the embarrassment of being seen through, he was more afraid that Si Ling would refuse to rescue him.

Wei Lai racked his brains to think of how to convince Si Ling. Si Ling looked at him and said, "If it were anyone else, I wouldn't take advantage of the situation. Tell me, where is the person?"

"The basement..." Willey sighed. "I'm not sure exactly where it is. This Isaac... there are fully automated devices everywhere in the house. After Aurelio was restocked in the metal cage, he was sent directly along the tracks. We were on the first floor at the time, and we could only see that the tracks went downwards. After that, we had no idea where they went."

"Okay." Si Ling had a general direction and planned to go to the basement. Wei Lai asked again worriedly: "Can you do it? If not... I'll find Lucifer."

"Well, how should I put it?" Si Ling pondered, "As a spirit-type ghost, I have a clear advantage over you, but also a clear disadvantage."

Willey: “What’s the advantage?”

Si Ling: "None of his technological gadgets can hurt me."

Willey asked again: "What about the disadvantages?"

Si Ling: "If he only uses small technological devices to attack me, then I can't hurt him. Not even a small wound like your normal bites."

Willey: “…”

"So, pray for me." Si Ling rolled his eyes, "Pray that Frankenstein will also be afraid, so that I can scare him to death."

"Pray devoutly." Willey pointed the cross on his chest.

"Thank you." Si Ling smiled and thanked him as she fled. She originally wanted to sneak directly through the two floors into the underground, but when she passed the first floor, she saw Isaac, who was searching in the dark with a set of scientific equipment.

Several ghost figures stopped and looked at Isaac from a distance. Although the special helmet he wore covered the upper half of his face, making it impossible for them to see his eyes, they could tell from his figure that he was extremely excited.

This kind of energy is rarely seen in normal people. Ah Zhui shuddered and subconsciously shrank back, muttering softly, "I wouldn't be surprised if he dismembered Aurelio for research."

"I think dismemberment is inevitable." Bai Ma raised an eyebrow. "It would be a great mercy for him not to kill before dismembering him."

Zhu Mengwei asked Si Ling: "How are you going to scare him?"

"I don't have any ideas." Si Ling said, "Let's take it one step at a time. Now..." She considered for a moment and looked at Xuan Chi, "I'll go down to rescue Aurelio, and you take them to hold Isaac back? Try not to show up, just lead him around in circles."

"Okay." Xuan Chi nodded. Li Qi said quickly, "Why don't we try to scare him first?"

Si Ling, who was about to go underground, stopped and asked her, "What's your plan?"

"...I don't have any plans." Li Qi shrugged, "But...I'm just playing tricks, just trying to scare them first."

Si Ling smiled and shook his head: "If it really can scare him, of course it can, but if it doesn't work, every scare will only increase his mental preparation. Even for ordinary people with normal minds and values, if they see too many horror scenes, their threshold will be greatly increased."

"Is that so?" Li Qi nodded seriously, took out the Tongming Plate and took a note thoughtfully.

Then the group of six split into two groups. Si Ling went to the basement to find Aurelio, and the remaining five stayed on the first floor to tease Isaac.

In the center of the basement lay a dark, narrow corridor, flanked by metal doors. Si Ling could guess that this was where Isaac committed his various perverted crimes. Behind these metal doors, there were likely more than just people imprisoned, but also various bizarre "scientific equipment."

Si Ling thought about it and was very interested in seeing what was there, but he had to rescue Aurelio first.

"Netherworld Vision." Si Ling cast the spell again. There were no other vampires hiding on this floor, and the only figure that emerged after the spell was triggered was Aurelio.

Si Ling breathed a sigh of relief and floated towards Aurelio. At the same time, a porcelain vase placed on the cabinet by the wall on the first floor was pushed by an invisible hand, moving inch by inch to the edge, and then -

"Bang!" The porcelain vase fell to the ground and shattered. Isaac roared, "That's what my grandma left for me!"

“…” Although Si Ling was in the basement, he also heard the roar. He raised his eyebrows and continued to look for Aurelio.

Half a minute later, she floated into the metal door where the figure was. She originally wanted to cast a spell to hide her figure from Aurelio and then suddenly reappear to scare him, but she finally gave up the idea.

It's okay to hold a grudge, but this time the client was paid for the job, so it's shameless to scare the client.

Even so, Aurelio didn't notice Si Ling the moment she entered the room. A ghost enters a house silently, and Aurelio was lost in the sorrow of impending death. Dejected, he sat in the square metal cage, a meter above the ground. Predicting his imminent demise at the hands of that monster, he began to recollect every detail of his life.

Si Ling walked around the metal cage and roughly understood the structure of the room - this room should only be used to temporarily detain "prey". There were no other strange equipment in the room. The metal cage was hung in the center of the room. There was a square passage on the ceiling directly above the metal cage. It looked pitch black from below. It seemed that the metal cage was transported from here to the underground and then hung here.

There were two other simple pieces of furniture: a table and a chair, both placed directly in front of the metal cage. On the table were a large photo album and two multi-sided dice.

Si Ling walked over and took a look. Both dice had ten sides. If the points were added together, up to 20 different results could be produced. If they were regarded as tens and ones respectively, 99 different numbers could be combined.

Then she opened the album...

The next second it closed again.

Si Ling stared at the album cover and took a deep breath.

The album held six photos per page. The page she opened was completely filled with the six photos on the left side, all depicting a woman's tragic death. Five of the six boxes on the right were empty, save for the first, which contained a handwritten card with the single sentence: "Why aren't you eating properly?"

——Why don’t you eat well?

A very simple sentence.

If it appeared between family members, it would probably convey some family concern, but when it appeared next to those six photos, it easily triggered some unpleasant associations.

Si Ling guessed that perhaps it was a cruel method of killing that Isaac came up with.

In order to further understand Isaac's psychological world, she held her breath and opened the album in front of her again - the situation was similar to what she had guessed. Only a few pages in the album had photos, and most of them were blank pages with only a card.

“How could you score so poorly”

“Don’t make me remind you again.”

“I expect every corner spotless.”

Si Ling tried his best to avoid looking at those shocking photos and focused his thoughts completely on these sentences.

When she was about a third of the way over, Aurelio finally noticed her. He moved his slightly plump body in surprise and joy and stood up from the cage: "Ms. Si...Ms. Si Ling! Are you here to save me?"

In his fear, he blurted out his native language, Italian.

Si Ling noticed that he used honorifics, sneered, and turned his head away: "So you know how to speak properly."
