Chapter 8: The Family That Takes Care of All the Villains (2) Four Brothers Take...

An hour and a half later, the five Sterman brothers moved into the villa with a lot of noise.

It was afternoon, bright and not a good time for haunting, so everyone stayed put. As the five brothers unpacked their belongings, they discussed plans for a barbecue in the courtyard that evening, a hunt in the Black Forest in Freiburg the next day, and a trip across the border to Gaul the day after.

The third werewolf, Orrick, angrily taunted through the sound transmission note: "Hello? Do they still remember that there's a child in their family who was tortured to death and is lying in the freezer of the morgue?"

Elizabeth smiled and said, "If they cared about this kind of thing, Elliot wouldn't have died."

"Humans are afraid of ghosts." Aymeric's voice was cold and low, "But they are always scarier than ghosts."

.

Night is gradually falling.

Freiburg's Black Forest, which stretches for more than 100 kilometers, was the first to be plunged into the night, and the light in the villa quickly turned from bright to dim. The five brothers turned on the lights in the room, took out the prepared ingredients from the refrigerator, set up a barbecue in the courtyard, and started a lively evening barbecue.

A Zhui and Si Ling sat in an invisible state on a grave in the cemetery opposite. The owner of the grave was a policewoman. She was irritable but righteous. When she found someone sitting on her roof, she came out with a fierce look and cursed a few times. But when A Zhui told her "We are going to deal with some copper smelters", she immediately softened her expression, encouraged them politely, and then took out a few bottles of beer for them from the grave.

"Hans beer is really good." Ah Zhui raised the bottle and took two sips. His eyes suddenly dimmed and he sighed. "I heard Qingdao beer is also great... But when I was taken away from Porcelain Country, they didn't have such a thing. I don't know if I'll have the chance to drink it again."

"It will be." Si Ling took a sip of wine. The coolness of the wine echoed with the chill of the surrounding fog, making it seem even colder.

The so-called cold actually had no effect on ghosts, but for some reason, she hated this damp and cold feeling, so she pinched her fingers and transformed herself into a windbreaker, while comforting Ah Zhui: "You will return to your country, and then you will be able to experience many new things."

Suddenly, the light in the master bedroom on the third floor flashed violently several times. Not only did they see it from the opposite side, but the five brothers who were barbecuing in the villa yard also saw it.

Ah Zhui clutched the bottle and laughed, "Elizabeth has begun."

"What's wrong?" John Stetmann, the child's father, frowned and looked at the upstairs window. Stefan Stetmann, the eldest of the five brothers, said nonchalantly, "Maybe the lightbulb needs to be changed, or the power supply is unstable."

John thought the same thing, so he lowered his head and continued grilling. Just a few minutes later, the lights on the third floor flickered violently again.

This time, when Stefan looked up, he saw a figure walking away from the window.

Stefan frowned suddenly, and his first reaction was that there was a thief in the house.

The master bedroom on the third floor happened to be Stefan's room. He thought for a moment, said to his brothers, "I'll go in and take a look," and walked around the oven into the house.

Since they were planning a hunt, the brothers had brought their hunting rifles with them. Upon arriving at the villa, they hung them behind the living room door. Stefan unhooked a rifle, loaded it, and tiptoed upstairs.

Ah Zhui and Si Ling saw it all. Si Ling was speechless: "Why didn't he call two more people? It's too stupid to act alone."

Ah Zhui curled his lips: "I can only say that the classic plot of horror movies may be silly but it never gets outdated."

Stefan passed the first and second floors without any trouble and successfully reached the third floor where the master bedroom was.

After entering the master bedroom, he didn't foolishly look for anything unusual in the dark like a horror movie protagonist, but turned on the light immediately. However, his high nervousness made him overlook some details - for example, before he went upstairs, the light flickered violently twice, but it was still on in the end, and the room was dark when he entered.

Stefan held his gun and looked around cautiously: "Who's in the house?"

From the outside, the bedroom looked normal: the master bedroom was spacious, but not particularly sheltered. In the center sat a double bed, its head resting against the wall opposite the door, flanked by nightstands. The far left side, facing the window, was bare of furniture, save for a rectangular rug. A desk and dresser lined the wall on the door's side, and to the left of the door, a shoulder-high chest of drawers filled the entire bedroom.

In addition, there are two doors on the wall to the right of the bed, one leading to the bathroom and the other to the dressing room.

The five brothers were only on a short trip, so a cloakroom was really unnecessary. After arriving at the villa, Stefan didn't even step into the cloakroom, but just put the opened suitcase on the floor next to the bed.

But now, after he was sure that no one was in the bedroom, he first suspected that the thief was hiding in the cloakroom.

Stefan, rifle in hand, walked towards the cloakroom. He silently turned the metal handle on the door, thrust the barrel of his rifle inside, and said gravely, "Come out! I see you!"

No one responded.

Stefan reached out to the wall inside the cloakroom door and turned on the light in the cloakroom.

The cloakroom was long and narrow, with a walkway only about a meter and a half wide, yet four or five meters long. On either side were wooden cabinets that reached up to the ceiling. Only the two rows near the doors had doorless compartments; the rest were obscured by tall doors, making it easy for someone to hide.

Stefan guessed that the thief was hiding in these closets, so he walked completely into the cloakroom and closed the door behind him. Holding the gun, he slowly opened the first closet door.

...And outside the cloakroom, which he couldn't see, the wide-open master bedroom door was silently closed by a breeze, and the lights went out.

"Come out!" In the cloakroom, Stefan's mood gradually became irritable. After opening another cabinet door but still finding nothing, he gave up his previous caution in anger and opened all the remaining doors in one breath.

All the wardrobes were empty, and there was no sign of the thief.

"F**K!" Stefan cursed inwardly, strode towards the cloakroom door angrily, and pulled it open.

When he saw that it was pitch black outside, his rage intensified. He didn't turn on the light at the door, but rushed into the bathroom with a gun in hand: "Who's in there! Get out!"

Suddenly, he heard a noise behind him.

Stefan turned around suddenly and saw a pale face covered in blood stumbling towards him!

In just a moment, Elizabeth saw the SAN value progress bar above his head pop up: -10%

"Wow——" She let out a strange cry, and Stefan and her screamed face to face: "Ah——!!!" They screamed until their voices broke!

The next second, Elizabeth threw him to the ground. Stefan's eyes gradually adjusted to the darkness before him, and he could see Elizabeth's appearance more clearly, her inappropriate wedding dress and the dark circles under her eyes that were so thick that they clearly did not belong to a living person.

-10%.

“Ahhhh, get out of here!!!” Stefan struggled and screamed, “Help! Help!”

Elizabeth grabbed him by the throat and slammed his head against the ground.

-10%;

-10%...

"Wow!" Elizabeth screamed again. The rugged and dirty teeth in her mouth seemed to be about to bite off at any time. The stench of rotting corpse spewed out of her mouth, which was disgusting.

“Ahhhhhhh——” Stefan wanted to raise the gun in his hand, but the violent shaking prevented him from touching the trigger.

Just when he thought Elizabeth was going to bite him to death, that mouth with a charming smell suddenly opened wide, and countless rice-like things rushed out of the mouth and sprayed towards Stefan's face.

Even in the depths of his extreme fear, Stefan was stunned for a moment, but he soon noticed that the things that fell on his face were moving, wriggling...

Because he shouted loudly, the particles sprayed into his mouth were also squirming... When he moved his mouth inadvertently, a few particles burst between his lips and teeth, soft and sticky.

He also smelled an indescribable scent that reminded him of the places where these slimy creatures liked to breed.

——The maggot illusion device, one of Professor Mammon’s proudest inventions.

It perfectly replicates the texture of maggots, while also carefully mixing in a hint of the scent of rotting corpses and feces.

Stefan hurriedly shut his mouth, silencing himself instantly. However, the silence further stimulated the sensitivity of his other senses. He could feel more delicately a few sticky little things sliding down his throat, and the wriggling of the body brought a slight itch.

"Ugh—" He suddenly turned his head to the side and retched. Elizabeth saw with satisfaction that his SAN value dropped another 20%.

Stefan vomited so much that one side of his cheek and the ground beside him were covered with sticky liquid, mixed with some half-dead maggots, twisting and struggling.

-10%.

Finally! Stefan touched the trigger.

"Bang--"

The four brothers who were barbecuing downstairs looked up in surprise, glanced at each other, and rushed towards the door at the same time.

The bullet hit Elizabeth in the side of her abdomen, and the force of the bullet threw her backwards.

Stefan took the opportunity to kick her away and fled using his hands and feet. He rushed out of the bathroom door and just as he grabbed the door handle of the master bedroom, someone grabbed his shoulders from behind.

This time, the severe pain came from the shoulder without any mercy!

Stefan fell backwards uncontrollably, and when he fell on his back again, Elizabeth, whose face was already covered in blood, had a piece of bloody meat in her mouth.

"Ah-ah..." Stefan was dazed by the pain and numb with fear.

His eyes went blank for a moment, and for a moment he even forgot to get up and run for his life. He lay on the ground in pain, staring blankly at Elizabeth who was chewing flesh and blood.

Thick blood fell in clumps, splashing onto her tattered wedding dress, which was already stained with stains. The smell of blood hit Stefan's nostrils.

-10%.

There's only 20% left. As a zombie bride with considerable abilities, Elizabeth has a good chance of killing him with one blow.

She slowly swallowed the piece of meat in her mouth and pounced on Stefan again without mercy.

"Puff——" The not-so-sharp teeth bit through the flesh and penetrated the throat, making a unique sound.

Stefan's eyes widened, his body twitched, his calves lifted and dropped, the heels of his leather shoes clacking against the wooden floor.

"Bang!" The door was kicked open, and the four brothers were caught off guard in the dark and saw the bloody scene of their eldest brother being bitten by zombies.

"Snap." The lights flickered on at just the right moment, revealing the image of Stefan's neck being completely ripped apart. They could even see the faint pulsation of the blood vessels on the side of his neck...

Elizabeth also looked up at them, half of her face dyed red with blood. She looked at them, tilted her head slightly, and smiled silently.

"ah……"

"ah!!!"

The four brothers rushed out of the door and crawled towards the stairs.
