Chapter 69 The Mysterious Live Stream

Chapter 69 The Mysterious Live Stream

"I forgot to introduce myself. I am Lin Miaomiao, the host of Aurora Borealis. We are currently live-streaming the rehearsal behind the scenes of 'Little Songs Gathering'."

The host, with her hair in braids, spoke fluently.

Lu Yanhe was even more bewildered.

"Huh? A live stream?"

He thought to himself, since it's a live broadcast, why didn't they knock before entering? What if he was changing clothes or doing something private inside? Wouldn't that all be broadcast?

Lu Yanhe's expression immediately turned somewhat unpleasant.

Having never been a celebrity before, by the time he realized there were cameras filming, his expression was already being broadcast.

He could only adjust himself in time and give a wry smile.

Lin Miaomiao said, "Let me say hello to everyone in our live stream first."

Facing the camera, Lu Yanhe smiled politely and said, "Hi everyone, I'm Lu Yanhe."

Lin Miaomiao stood next to Lu Yanhe and asked, "Yanhe, were you reading a book just now?"

“Yes, there’s still a while before my rehearsal, so I’ll read for a bit first,” Lu Yanhe said.

"You truly deserve to be called a role model. You not only act bravely in times of crisis, but you also love learning so much. Your grades must be excellent, right?"

"No, not at all." Lu Yanhe shook his head. "We're working on it."

Lin Miaomiao blinked and suddenly said in an exaggerated tone, "Lu Yanhe, standing this close, I realize that you are even more handsome in person than in the video! Do you have a lot of girls chasing after you at school?"

"No, not at all." Lu Yanhe glanced at her awkwardly, thinking to himself, when will this awful live interview ever end?

"Do you have a crush on any girl?" Lin Miaomiao asked again.

"No, not at all," Lu Yanhe said.

"Hmm, this is really unusual," Lin Miaomiao said in surprise. "Isn't high school the time when it's easiest to fall for someone?"

Lu Yanhe pointed to the camera and asked, "Can this be broadcast?"

Lin Miaomiao: "What's wrong with broadcasting this?"

Well, it seems like puppy love isn't so bad after all.

"What song are you going to sing tomorrow?" Lin Miaomiao asked.

Lu Yanhe's expression became even stranger. He said, "The production team said to keep it a secret for now and not to tell anyone."

Lin Miaomiao had a sweaty expression on her face.

“Lu Yanhe, has anyone ever told you that you are really difficult to interview?” she asked.

Lu Yanhe grunted and said, "I don't know, and it's been a long time since I've been interviewed."

Lin Miaomiao: "Okay, it seems you haven't been popular for a long time. I thought you had disappeared. It's rare to see you appear again this time."

Lu Yanhe was at a loss for words.

The person's words sounded malicious and mocking, but judging from her appearance, she didn't seem to have any real malice. Instead, she seemed a bit dim-witted and simply didn't realize the problem with her words.

In the end, Lu Yanhe could only say, "Then I have to thank you for remembering me."

"Of course I remember you. I voted for you back then." Lin Miaomiao suddenly showed a smug expression, which puzzled Lu Yanhe.

"Alright, good luck. We're off to interview someone else. Bye-bye." Lin Miaomiao waved and left with the photographer.

They came suddenly, and they left suddenly.

Lu Yanhe sat down in silence, completely bewildered.

-

In the hallway, Lin Miaomiao shoved the microphone into the hands of another girl dressed more like a host, saying, "Alright, I told you I can handle it, no problem at all, stop looking so worried."

"Miss Lin, how about... you take a look at the live stream?" The latter looked hesitant.

Chen Bin is a contracted host for Aurora Borealis, and she was originally in charge of this behind-the-scenes interview program.

Who knew that when we were preparing to interview Lu Yanhe tonight, Lin Miaomiao, the eldest daughter of the CEO of Northern Lights, suddenly appeared and said that she was here to interview him.

Chen Bin was completely bewildered and extremely worried. After all, this was a live broadcast, and if something went wrong, she didn't know how to handle the situation.

However, Lin Miaomiao has always been spoiled and willful, and is known as a pampered child in the Northern Lights.

Chen Bin couldn't confront Lin Miaomiao directly, so Lin Miaomiao eventually took the microphone from her and called the cameraman inside.

They also ordered her not to go in with them.

Sure enough, while Lin Miaomiao was feeling good about herself, the live stream chat exploded, with everyone cursing who Lin Miaomiao was and telling her not to embarrass herself if she couldn't do interviews.

Chen Bin had no idea how Lin Miaomiao would react after seeing all the insults online.

She cautiously glanced at the young lady's expression.

Sure enough, after Lin Miaomiao searched on her phone, she immediately saw the comments online.

Her face darkened instantly.

Not wanting to upset the young lady too much, Chen Bin said, "Actually, you did a great job. It was your first time hosting and interviewing a guest, and you were very poised. Those people online are just making things up because they don't know the situation."

"Forget it, if I messed up, I messed up. You don't need to comfort me." Lin Miaomiao waved her hand and walked away unhappily.

-

Lin Miaomiao was heavily criticized after her live interview with Lu Yanhe was seen by many people.

In contrast, Lu Yanhe received less attention.

Fortunately, the live stream was only seen by the show's existing audience and did not spread widely.

Some of the comments that Lin Miaomiao made that were used to criticize her were quickly deleted from the backend of the Northern Lights platform.

Lu Yanhe had no idea that the person who had just interviewed him was Miss Northern Lights; he was only left with the impression that this person was rather unprofessional.

At 9:20 p.m., Chen Siqi finally sent over the audio she had finished.

Following this are three small emojis depicting dripping blood from kitchen knives.

Lu Yanhe immediately replied with a "kneeling in gratitude" emoji.

He turned on the audio.

The melody begins to play.

It begins with a piano melody.

Then, the verses and chorus begin.

After listening to the whole thing, Lu Yanhe sent a message to Chen Siqi in surprise: "Wow, that's professional."

Chen Siqi: Otherwise, if I didn't have the ability, would I take the initiative to do this job?

Lu Yanhe: Ox.

Chen Siqi: Give more money, less nonsense.

Lu Yanhe: Let's not let the stench of money taint our pure friendship.

Chen Siqi: Real dog.

Lu Yanhe laughed.

He thought for a moment and sent the audio to Wang Lu: Sister Xiao Lu, could you please give this audio to the audio teacher for me?

Wang Lu asked: What is this?

Lu Yanhe said: The songs to be selected.

Wang Lu: Hmm? Are there any other songs to choose from?

Lu Yanhe said: Yes, it's a song I wrote myself. I'll tell the director and the others when I go to the rehearsal later.

Wang Lu: Okay, no problem.

Lu Yanhe: Thank you.

-

It was already 9:30, and Wang Lu still hadn't shown up, so they called him over for rehearsal.

The rehearsal was originally scheduled for 9:40.

Lu Yanhe hesitated for a moment and asked Wang Lu: Isn't it my turn to rehearse yet?

Wang Lu said: Chen Ziliang's rehearsal is not over yet, it will probably take a while longer, sorry.

Lu Yanhe: Okay, then I'll wait for you.
