"I only promised to bring the person here, but I didn't promise to help you kill someone!"
Chen Dong's voice rushed into Zhu Zhu's ears with anger.
Zhu Zhu shook her head vigorously and slowly woke up from her sleep.
"You think you'll be alright if you don't help me?" a woman's voice rang out. "I'm telling you, even if you don't help me, you're still an accomplice. If the police track you down, you won't be able to escape!"
"If my family wasn't in urgent need of money, would I have done this for you?" Chen Dong was very angry. "So, don't push your luck!"
"I know your family's situation." The woman's voice sounded again, "That's why I found you. What do you think? If you help me kill her, I can give you another sum of money, enough for you to escape and live abroad."
"I don't need it!" Chen Dong said, "If I knew you asked me to trick Zhu Zhu into coming here to kill her, I would never agree to help you."
The woman suddenly laughed, her voice sharp and piercing.
"Then why do you think I asked you to trick her into coming here?" The woman's voice was full of sarcasm. "Is it because you missed her?"
"Stop pretending." Seeing Chen Dong remained silent, the woman continued, "You know it very well. I asked you to trick Zhu Zhu into coming here, so how could I possibly let her go?"
"Anyway...anyway, I don't care." Chen Dong was obviously feeling guilty. "I only agreed to trick her into coming here. The rest of the matter has nothing to do with me."
The woman spat, "Useless piece of shit! You didn't even take the chance to make a fortune. No wonder you've been poor all your life!"
Listening to their quarrel, Zhu Zhu knew she was in danger. But when she moved, she found herself tightly tied up and thrown to the ground.
Zhu Zhu turned her head and looked for the source of the sound.
Even if she died, she would find out who had such a big grudge against her and wanted to kill her.
"Get out!" the woman's voice rang out again. "Remember, if you dare to tell anyone about what happened today, you'll be screwed too!"
Then, there were hurried footsteps and the sound of a door opening and closing.
With the dim light, Zhu Zhu saw a woman appear in front of her.
But I still felt a little dizzy and couldn't see the woman's appearance clearly.
"Hey! Awake?" The woman saw Zhu Zhu move on the ground and walked towards her in her high heels. "You're really amazing! It only took three sleeping pills to get you to sleep for such a short time."
Zhu Zhu tried hard to lift her head up, but because it was tied too tightly, only the bright red hem of the woman's skirt could be seen.
"Want to see who I am?" The woman chuckled and squatted down. "Come, take a good look, see who I am."
Following the woman's body, Zhu Zhu's eyes slowly moved upwards. A beautiful face appeared in front of Zhu Zhu.
Zhu Zhu didn't know why the face in front of her looked familiar, but she couldn't remember who this woman was.
"Why? I heard you lost your memory, so you can't recognize me?"
The woman pulled Zhu Zhu up from the ground and made her face face hers.
"Come! Take a good look! See who I am!"
The woman's voice seemed to be squeezed out from between her teeth, revealing a terrifying viciousness.
With the help of the light, Zhu Zhu looked carefully at the face opposite her.
Her eyebrows and eyes are picturesque, and she looks a bit like me.
"What? You figured it out?" The woman saw the strange look in Zhu Zhu's eyes and sneered, "That's right! I'm your cousin Zhu Jue!"
