After leaving Hetianxia, Xue Lier got in the car arranged by Lu Li and headed straight for the Xue family.

Xue Li'er entered the villa without turning on the lights. Her eyes had become accustomed to the darkness, and she walked around the first floor relying on the little light coming in from outside.

Xue Li'er turned and went upstairs. Her parents' room was on the second floor and she needed to see them immediately.
Xue Li'er stood in front of her parents' room and took a deep breath.
She hadn't been back to this house for five years. She didn't know what would be waiting for her when she opened the door.
Reaching out her hand, Xue Lier gently turned the doorknob. When she pushed the door open, her mother was leaning against the bed, silently shedding tears.
"Who is it?! Who is there?!"
Xue Li'er's mother Zhang Man obviously didn't expect that someone would open her door in the dark so late at night, and she screamed in panic.

"Why...why did you come back just now..." Zhang Man complained while crying, "Do you know how worried your mother is about you...do you know..."
Xue Li'er's originally icy heart was instantly melted by Zhang Man's words. She cried and said, "I want to come back too... I dream about it... But... But I dare not come back, I'm afraid..."
When Zhang Man heard Xue Li'er say she was afraid, she knew what she was afraid of. She stopped crying and reached out to wipe away Xue Li'er's tears.
"How did you get back?" Zhang Man asked anxiously, "Did Rashid let you go? He doesn't plan to arrest you anymore?"
Xue Li'er's heart sank when she heard Zhang Man ask this. It seemed An Jinli was right; her parents did know that she was married to Rashid.
