After hearing what Rashid said, Haman was shocked. He never expected that because of his actions, Xue Lier became Rashid's canary.
If they were women in the Middle East, they would be very happy to be the wife of a powerful man like Rashid.
But Xue Li'er was not from the Middle East. She could not stand the tradition that women were subordinate to men.

"Don't be nervous, Harman," Rashid said. "You are my most trusted brother. I believe you will not betray me for a woman."
A thin layer of sweat broke out on Harman's back. Even though the air conditioning in the study was strong enough, it couldn't help him relax.

"Harman!" Rasheed interrupted him. "Come back to me. I need your help."
"Of course I am willing," Haman said earnestly. "I am willing to do anything my cousin asks me to do."

Rashid curled his lips, obviously feeling very happy when he thought of Xue Li'er.

"I hope you can take Patty out for a walk when I don't have time. I hope her heart can settle down and she can become a real Middle Eastern woman."

"Harman, you're the only one I can trust here," Rashid said. "You usually come to my side and do things for me. When Patty needs to go out, you accompany her and protect her safety. It's that simple. Don't let me down again."
Haman felt both happy and a little scared.
He was happy that he could accompany Xue Li'er, and even happier that Rashid could use him again.
However, Xue Li'er wanted to secretly return to China to take revenge on An Jinli. He didn't know whether to tell Rashid about this.

Rashid nodded in satisfaction.
"Go out. Go home and get ready and report to the study early tomorrow morning."
Harman stood up, bowed to Rashid, and left the study.
After Haman left, Rashid called Hamher in.
"Tell your sister that she should keep an eye on Harman and the lady when they go out. Report anything amiss immediately."
Hamhe nodded, left the study and went to see his sister Rama to convey Rashid's intention to her.
Rashid was completely relieved.
It wasn't that he didn't trust Haman. He knew Haman had been timid since childhood and would never betray him for a woman.
But it's always better to be on the lookout, just in case something unexpected happens.
