Rashid couldn't help laughing after hearing what Ram said.
"Since the arms are yours, please take them back. I, Rashid, will not take such a big bargain for nothing."
"Take it back?" Ram's fat face darkened. "Do you know who I sold this batch of arms to? We originally agreed to trade it this morning, but I didn't expect the goods to have legs and run to you. My buyer is furious, thinking I'm ripping him off. He's asking me to compensate him for his losses. What do you think I should do?"
"That's between you and him," Rashid said coldly, "What does it have to do with me?"
"Rashid! Don't refuse a toast!" Ram slammed the table and stood up. "Without your instructions, how could my things appear in Amman? This is your territory. How could you, Rashid, not know about such a big commotion?"
"I'm telling you!" Ram continued, "If I hadn't received the tip-off, I wouldn't have known you had the item. If I hadn't come knocking on my door, you'd probably have already swallowed it!"
"Ram, you need evidence when you speak!" Rashid said, "I, Rashid, have never done anything to offend you."
"Only you know whether you deserve it or not. Rashid, today I'm not only going to take the goods away, but I'm also going to take your compensation."
"Compensation?" Rashid asked harshly, "How much do you want?"
Ram smiled slightly on his plump face, raised a finger and said, "100 million US dollars."
"Bullshit!" Rashid slammed the cup in front of him. "How dare you ask for so much? One hundred million? What do you want so much money for? To build a cemetery for yourself?"
"Rashid! If you don't give me this 100 million today, I will tear down your Amman, and all the brothers in your association will be transferred to my Saudi Arabia branch."
"Alright. I want to see how you dismantle my branch." Rashid said to his men, "Send Mr. Ram out. I don't want to see him again."
"You're such a badass, Rashid! You're so unkind and you're blaming me for being unfair." Ram said harshly, "We'll see what happens!"
The meeting between Rashid and Ram ended in a bad mood, and the news that Ram left Rashid's house cursing spread throughout the Muslim brotherhood.
In less than three days, Jordan was hit by multiple terrorist attacks. Militants suddenly appeared in cities around Jordan, and even Amman was hit by suicide bombings.
"Chief, it's obvious that what happened these days was done by Ram's people." Rashid's men said.
Rashid remained silent. He knew in his heart that only Ram could come up with such a method.
He is now like an ant on a hot pan, unable to advance or retreat.
If he just let Ram act so recklessly in his territory, his brothers would definitely not obey him.
But if he really fights with Ram and happens to fall into someone else's trap, the consequences may be even more serious.
"Chief, what should we do now? We can't let Ram's people run rampant on our territory any longer," the subordinate said. "If this continues, I'm afraid our brothers will turn against us."
Rashid knew this outcome, but the more he thought about what had happened, the stranger it seemed.
How could he not have known that a batch of arms had suddenly fallen from the sky into his territory? Needless to say, there must be a spy in his gang.
But who was trying to harm him? Rashid couldn't guess for a moment.
