Chapter 479 The Mess (1/2)

After the convoy came out of the central town, people were already waiting to greet them in Meilin Village. Zhou Jianzhong was still in the lead, and many villagers also came to watch. Several cars drove into Meilin Village in a mighty procession. Under Zhou Jianzhong's coordination, the formal field research began.

For the early dredging project, the field research officially started. In fact, Li Xiuyuan had been involved in the entire project from the early stage and had a general idea of it.

The construction of the new agricultural demonstration village in the entire Meilin Village is mainly divided into three parts. One is the dredging project of the Heishui River. This is the preliminary project, which aims to turn the Heishui River into Baishijian, restore the river flow, and backfill the original Jinxin Coal Mine's deep diversion well.

The second step is village planning and pollution control, which is also a mid-term project. Needless to say, village planning involves demolition, demolition, renovation, road construction, and public facilities addition.

Pollution control is mainly used to treat the original coal slag mountain and polluted land...

The third step is industrial development, including transforming it into an ecological wetland, carrying out photovoltaic drip irrigation projects, building farmhouses, etc. This is also a later project.

In fact, among the three projects, the easiest one is the early dredging project. If it weren't for the Tian Zhijun brothers messing around, the dredging project would have been completed long ago and would not have been delayed until now.

The entire project had been planned before. The river section to be managed was mainly the lower reaches of Baishijian, which is also known as the Heishui River. The total length is three kilometers, and it flows through the section between Meilin Village and Jinxin Coal Mine.

There is a difficult part in the entire road section, which is an S-bend project. The project is about 500 meters in total, and dredging is difficult because there is a coal slag mountain next to the S-bend. If there is a problem with dredging, it may cause the coal slag mountain to collapse, which will completely block the river channel.

The entire river channel was originally eight meters wide. After dredging, it will be widened to twelve meters, and the average dredging depth is one meter.

On the bank of the Heishui River, Li Xiuyuan was recording in a notebook. This was probably all the data for the entire project: the three-kilometer river channel, the average dredging depth was one meter, the S-bend was five hundred meters long, and the river channel was widened by four meters, from the original eight meters to the current twelve meters.

But this was last year's project volume. After the efforts of the Tian Zhijun brothers last year, another part of the project was added. First of all, there was damage on the river embankment, which needed to be repaired and leveled before the support equipment could be installed.

This is a small expense and can be completed by the villagers in the village. If many villagers participate, it can be completed within one or two days. The cost is about 30,000 yuan.

The second thing is to deal with the accumulation of contaminated silt at the bottom of the river that was dug out by the Tian Zhijun brothers. Normally, the silt dug out from the river bank needs to be handled according to the situation.

For example, coal slag, after screening, is directly sent to the county building materials factory and can be made into permeable bricks. In this way, the cost of dredging and treating the silt is very low. After all, it is just salvaged from the river and then transported to the county building materials factory.

The village can deal with the sulfide-containing part. It can be stabilized with lime and piled up for seven days. The cost is slightly higher than sending it directly, but if the village burns quicklime by itself, the cost will be lower than sending it to the county building materials factory. Moreover, this part of the soil can be used, and some funds can be saved when it is used to transform the coal slag pile later.

The most difficult to deal with are those containing heavy metals and oils. One requires cement solidification and safe landfill, which requires being sent to a designated address for disposal and landfill, and the cost is multiplied many times. The other requires thermal desorption treatment, which is even more expensive.
