Chapter 6 Scoring (1/2)

"Examiners, please give your score to candidate number 35 now."

The two scorers took a while to come back to their senses and started to go through the process. However, the scores had not come out yet. The two scorers had sharp eyes and speculated curiously that not only this examination room, but also this provincial examination, the highest interview score might be born under their witness. Even more exaggeratedly, candidate No. 35 might create a provincial examination interview score record.

Sure enough, the first examiner raised the score board, 95.5 points.

The two scorers took a deep breath. They thought that candidate No. 35 would get a high score in the interview, because if they were taking the official exam, they would also give him a high score.

But a score of 95.5 right from the start is a bit exaggerated. You should know that the interview scores actually have a range for each class.

Their interview scores in Hedong Province are basically concentrated in the range of 75-85, which means that except for some unlucky people, there are very few people who score below 75 points.

If the score is below 70, then the interview is basically a failure.

It's basically impossible to get a score below 60, unless you are scolding the examiner...

Low scores are rare, but high scores are not easy to get either.

This 85 points is actually a hurdle. If the interview performance is to defend the ring, for example, if a position recruits a person, the person with the highest written test score is considered to be defending the ring. To defend the ring, basically 80 points or above, 81 points or above, is a safe threshold.

Because it is difficult to get an interview score of more than 85 points.

There are probably 6,000 positions in the provincial examination every year, and about 10,000 people take part in the interview. Among so many people, it is considered good if there are more than a dozen who score over 80 points.

This ratio basically means that among almost a hundred interviewees, there can be one person with such a high score.

If you score more than 90 points in the interview, it depends on luck. Sometimes there may be one or two, three or four people who score well among more than 10,000 people.

Anyway, you can always count the brunt of a slap.

After reaching 90 points, the difficulty doubles with every additional point, because after the interview, if the score is too low, for example, below 60 points, the interview result will be subject to re-examination.

Similarly, scores that are too high, above 90 points, will also be subject to a new review to see whether the scores are fair and correct.

Therefore, no matter how you score above 90 points, you need to give a reason. The first one is 95.5, which is a record-breaking score.

The two scorers felt their hands shaking when they were counting the scores.

Next is the second examiner.

96 points

The two examiners swallowed nervously, thinking that 95.5 was too much of an exaggeration. However, the second examiner gave a score of 96, which was higher than the first examiner's score.

However, the scores given by the next few examiners were even more beyond their expectations, refreshing their cognition time and time again.

97.5 points, 97 points, 98 points, 97.3 points, 97.2 points...

The two scorers opened their eyes wide and pricked up their ears, fearing that they had seen or heard it wrong. What a joke! The first score of 95.5 was too high for them both.

After the examiners finished grading, the score of 95.5 turned out to be the most conservative, the lowest score?
