After arriving in the county town, Li Xiuyuan drove directly to the breakfast shop he had mentioned. He used to come here often, even when he was studying away from home. Whenever he came back for vacation, he would come to this breakfast shop for breakfast every morning.
But after I started working, I never made a special trip here.

If there's a problem with the taste of the food or the way the staff treat customers, a restaurant can't possibly stay open for more than ten years.

Su Ziying took a bite and nodded repeatedly to Li Xiuyuan: "It tastes very good."
“Right? When I was studying in the provincial capital, every time I came back from vacation, I would come to this breakfast shop for breakfast the very next morning…” Li Xiuyuan said to Su Ziying with a look of reminiscence in his eyes.
The two chatted as they ate, and felt warm all over after breakfast.
After Li Xiuyuan paid the bill, the two left the breakfast shop.
"Mayor Li, if you're going home, go ahead and do your work. I'll just take the bus home by myself in a bit," Su Ziying said to Li Xiuyuan.
“I’m not in a hurry to go home. Teacher Su hasn’t had a proper chance to explore Huangyuan County yet, has she? I happen to have some time this morning, how about I accompany Teacher Su around? I can be a guide and introduce things to her,” Li Xiuyuan said to Su Ziying.
Su Ziying smiled and nodded: "Okay, I also have some things to buy, so I'll trouble Mayor Li."
"Don't use my title this weekend, just call me Xiuyuan."
“No, that won’t do. Let’s just call him Brother Li.” Su Ziying drawled out her words, and the two of them laughed.
For the rest of the morning, Li Xiuyuan drove Su Ziying around Huangyuan County. Su Ziying bought some daily necessities. When they passed by her primary and junior high schools, Li Xiuyuan introduced them to her. Finally, they took a walk around the lakeside running track. As they walked around the lake, Li Xiuyuan told Su Ziying that when he worked in the county, he would run along the lakeside running track every morning.
