Sunlight streamed into the empty apartment. Bo Junyi stood on the balcony, drinking his coffee slowly, feeling empty inside.
After not seeing each other for a day, even the air seems cold and deserted.
His fingertips unconsciously stroked the rim of the cup, and finally he couldn't hold back any longer and drove to school.
After parking the car, he subconsciously walked towards the library.
Through the glass curtain wall, he caught sight of the familiar figure.
Li Susu was sitting in the corner reading a book, her hanging hair was coated with an orange hue by the sunlight.
Just as he was about to push the door open, he saw a boy in casual clothes quietly sitting down next to her.
The other party pretended to flip through a book, but actually pointed the camera of his mobile phone at Li Susu.
Bo Junyi's entire body was filled with anxiety. When the boy returned, he blocked the doorway and grabbed his wrist, "What did you take a picture of? Delete it immediately!"
The boy was frightened by his cold aura and hurriedly handed over his phone.
Bo Junyi scanned the screen and in the frozen image, Li Susu's profile as she concentrated on reading was breathtakingly beautiful.
He suddenly chuckled and deleted it. "Nice photo. I'll sit over and take a couple of pictures for us."
When Bo Junyi sat down not far away, Li Susu seemed to sense something and subconsciously looked up.
The moment their eyes met, a smile flickered in her eyes.
The shutter sounded, and the boy's hand holding the phone trembled slightly - in the camera, the man who was cold just now had a look of affection that could drown people.
"Great shot." Bo Junyi threw out a five-hundred-yuan bill, and the boy's eyes lit up: "Brother, do you want to take more pictures?"
"I'll need to look for you again." Watching the boy walk away happily, Bo Junyi lowered his head and looked through the photos again and again, and the corners of his mouth rose unconsciously.
He showed the photo to Li Susu, "How did it turn out?"
Li Susu nodded, "It looks very nice."
Bo Junyi: "I'll pass it on to you."
"Okay." Li Susu curled her lips, and after a moment of silence, she asked, "Why did you come to school so suddenly?"
"miss you."
Bo Junyi's voice was very low, passing by his ear like a feather.
He spoke frankly and calmly, as if it was the most natural thing.
Li Susu watched him set one of the photos as the screensaver, and her heart skipped a beat.
After finishing, Bo Junyi picked up another book on the table. The cover of the book had the words "Online Writing Handbook" printed on it.
But before he could open the cover, Li Susu had already snatched the book away with her quick eyes and hands.
He paused, a little amused, "What's wrong?"
Li Susu held the book against her chest, her falling hair covering the red tips of her ears. "It's okay, read another one."
After Li Susu finished speaking, she caught a glimpse of gossipy glances from not far away.
Several girls pretended to flip through books and looked over here frequently.
She stood up hurriedly, pointed to the reading area opposite, and quickly fled with the book in her arms.
The scorching gazes from all around made Bo Junyi feel irritated. He pushed open the glass door with a cold face.
In the corridor, leaning against the pillar, I sent a text message to Li Susu.
[The car is at the back door of the gymnasium. We'll take you to get some fresh air.]
When the send button was pressed, his eyes unconsciously fell on the flustered but cute figure in the glass curtain wall, and a gentle smile appeared on his cold eyebrows.
Soon, Li Susu left the library and went to the gymnasium.
He walked to the familiar black Cullinan sedan, looked around, and when he saw no one, he quickly opened the passenger door.
The fragrance inside the car mixed with the sweet scent of flowers hits you in the face.
Bo Junyi handed over a bouquet of flowers wrapped in matte paper. The pink roses were dotted with baby's breath, and the bouquet was still covered with morning dew.
"For me?" Li Susu touched the petals with her fingertips and looked up in surprise.
"Do you like it?" the man asked softly, his dark pupils reflecting her flushed cheeks.
Seeing her nod, a smile appeared on his lips: "Every day from now on."
As he spoke, he took out a brown paper bag like a magician, and the sweet aroma of pastries mixed with hot steam emanated from it.
They were her favorite jujube paste pastry and osmanthus cake.
"Thank you." Li Susu's eyelashes trembled slightly, and her fingers tightened around the packaging bag. "There's something I want to tell you."
"What's the matter?" Bo Junyi asked in a relaxed tone.
"I, I want to move back to the dormitory."
Bo Junyi was slightly stunned, and after a long while he spoke: "To avoid Shen Qingyao?"
Seeing her nod, he considered and said, "Then, should I not be able to come to you casually from now on?"
"Well, we can contact each other privately via mobile phone. Occasionally, we can meet in person."
"Occasionally, how often?"
"One month..."
"No, it's too long." Bo Junyi refused without hesitation.
Li Susu stared at the gold-stamped pattern on the packaging bag and whispered, "You decide the time."
"Let's talk later." Bo Junyi was silent for a moment, then unwrapped the oil-wrapped paper and handed over the cake: "Want to try it?"
Li Susu took it and took a small bite, and the sweetness of the date paste spread on the tip of her tongue.
She handed over the rest as if possessed by a demon. "Try it too."
The moment Bo Junyi lowered his eyes and bit down, the tip of his tongue brushed against her fingertips.
Her ears flushed red as she retracted her hand.
Bo Junyi chuckled, started the car and drove out of the campus: "I'll take you somewhere."
"Where are you going?"
"You'll know when we get there." He tapped the steering wheel with his slender fingers, and the car stereo switched to her favorite Chinese-style song at the right time.
After more than half an hour, we arrived at the suburbs. The car rolled over the winding mountain road, and the dark green mountains in the distance were endless.
When the temple's flying eaves and pointed corners finally pierced through the clouds, the melodious sound of bells could be heard faintly.
The car stopped, and Li Susu looked at the crowd gathered among the red walls and golden tiles. There were blond-haired and blue-eyed tourists holding cameras to take pictures, and the hawkers' shouts mixed with sandalwood drifted in the air. It was much more lively than she had imagined.
