Chapter 122 Thousand Paper Cranes

The night before his detention ended, Bo Junyi returned to his apartment early.

It was already one in the morning. Thinking that Li Susu should have gone to bed, he deliberately walked lightly into the living room.

Surprisingly, the light in the second bedroom was still on.

Bo Junyi gently pushed the bedroom door open, and when he saw the scene inside, his breathing paused slightly.

Li Susu fell asleep on the desk.

Her hair fell down to cover her face, and under her wrist was an unfolded light pink paper crane.

The table was covered with scattered colored papers, and folded paper cranes were stacked layer upon layer, emitting fragmented light under the warm yellow desk lamp.

When he squatted down, the wind from the corner of his clothes brushed her eyelashes.

Li Susu moaned and rubbed against the heat source, her fingertips unconsciously clutching his shirt.

"Bo Junyi——"

The warm breath brushed against his Adam's apple, and the sleepy ending brushed gently against his ear.

"I am here."

His voice was slightly hoarse, and his bony hands held the back of her neck.

Li Susu suddenly opened her eyes.

In front of her was the thin and handsome outline of a man, and his narrow and deep almond-shaped eyes were staring at her without blinking.

Li Susu's breathing stagnated, and her fingertips trembled as they touched the new stubble on his chin.

Make sure you're not dreaming.

She hugged his waist tightly and threw herself into his arms.

"I, I thought I was dreaming..." Her voice was muffled, with a hint of tears, "You really came back."

Bo Junyi rubbed his chin against the top of her head and said in a low voice, "Well, I'm back. I will never leave you again."

Hot tears seeped into his clothes. Li Susu held his waist tightly with such force that it seemed as if she was afraid that he would suddenly disappear.

Bo Junyi smelled the faint lavender scent in her hair and chuckled: "Is this how you take care of yourself when I'm not around?"

She tilted her head back, tears still hanging on her eyelashes, and her gaze swept across the table full of colored paper, and she suddenly felt a little embarrassed.

"I was folding paper cranes and fell asleep while folding them."

"Who is it for? Is it worth your trouble?" He wiped away the tears from her eyes with his thumb, asking knowingly with a smile in his tone.

Li Susu's cheeks flushed red, and she buried her face in his chest and said in a muffled voice: "For you...it's your birthday the day after tomorrow."

Bo Junyi's eyes trembled slightly, and he lowered his head to press a kiss to her burning forehead: "Thank you, baby."

The person in his arms became more and more clingy, like a coquettish kitten hooked around his neck and wouldn't let go.

He chuckled and said, "You're dirty, go take a shower."

"All right...…"

Li Susu slowly let go of her hand and watched him go into the bathroom with his clothes.

Steaming mist overflowed from the frosted glass.

Bo Junyi took a shower very quickly. When the bathroom door opened, Li Susu's fingertips, which were pinching the colored paper, paused.

Her gaze unconsciously fell on the man opposite her who had a very strong presence.

Bo Junyi's loose bathrobe was half open, and water droplets dripping from the ends of his hair slid across his collarbone, winding out crystal clear trails between the grooves of his abdominal muscles.

The tips of her ears felt hot, but she stubbornly raised her eyes to meet his smiling gaze, her heartbeat making her eardrums ache.

"Why are you still doing it?" He casually grabbed a towel and wiped his hair.

Li Susu placed the newly folded paper crane into the glass jar, her eyes curved into crescents. "I want to fold 999 of them before your birthday."

"It's okay, I can help you."

Before she finished speaking, Li Susu suddenly fell into a familiar embrace.

Bo Junyi held her knees with his palms, and the scent of cedar mixed with the coolness of water droplets wrapped her layer by layer.

She subconsciously put her arms around his neck, and the next second, her body was placed steadily on the soft bed.

The mattress had sunk into a shallow dent. Li Susu looked up at the man leaning over her. The ceiling light cast fine shadows on his eyelashes.

"Did you miss me?" Bo Junyi stroked the corners of her red eyes with his fingertips, his voice low and magnetic.

Her eyelashes trembled slightly: "I often lose sleep because of thinking about it."

She was responded with a gentle kiss that moved from the corner of her lips to the side of her neck.

Li Susu suddenly looked down and saw the ugly little bear pattern on her pajamas, and the tips of her ears instantly turned red.

"I...I'll go change my clothes first." She struggled to get up, and the ends of her hair brushed across Bo Junyi's chin.

"What clothes?" He raised his eyebrows and grabbed her wrist.

Li Susu bit her lip, her earlobes tinged with honey: "The skirt, let me try it on. If you like it, I'll wear it. If you don't like it, throw it away."

More than ten minutes later, the sound of footsteps was heard outside the door.

Bo Junyi was sure that the person was standing at the door, but after waiting for a long time, she didn't come in.

He couldn't wait any longer and stood up and opened the door.

The moment his eyes met Li Susu, his breathing almost stopped.

The girl stood in the halo with her eyes downcast and her fingers twisted. The red lace suspenders outlined the curve of her butterfly bones, and the small vest underneath made her skin look even whiter than snow.

The hem of the skirt barely covered her thighs, revealing half of her calves, which were white and slender. The pearl necklace below her collarbone swayed gently with her breathing.

His Adam's apple rolled violently, his eyes swept across her red ears, and he suddenly reached out and pushed her against the door frame.

His unique aura surrounded her tightly.

Li Susu heard a hoarse chuckle from above her head: "I like it. I like it very much."

Bo Junyi's Adam's apple rolled, and he reached out and gently stroked her flushed cheek, his voice so low and hoarse that honey could drip out of it: "Susu, you are more beautiful than I imagined."

As he spoke, he slowly held her in his arms, resting his chin on the top of her head, greedily absorbing her scent.

Li Susu was hugged by him so tightly that she felt a little breathless, but she was reluctant to push him away.

She leaned on his chest, listened to his strong heartbeat, and whispered, "As long as you like it."

Before she finished speaking, Bo Junyi suddenly picked her up and strode towards the bed.

Li Susu screamed and subconsciously put her arms around his neck, her cheeks so red that they seemed to be bleeding.
