Chapter 147 I care more about your feelings than myself

The sound of running water in the bathroom continued, and Li Susu took an unusually long bath.

After Bo Junyi came out of the bathroom next door, he sat on the sofa for a long time, but she didn't come out.

The sound of dripping water came through the door. He finally couldn't help but got up and walked to the door and knocked lightly: "Susu, what took you so long? Are you done?"

"Okay, okay." Li Susu's voice was a little flustered.

The sound of running water suddenly stopped, and after a long while, the bathroom door slowly opened.

In the mist, Li Susu appeared before his eyes like a lotus in clear water, and Bo Junyi's Adam's apple moved unconsciously.

At the same time, Li Susu's eyes couldn't help but sweep over his tall and strong body.

The two men's figures are in stark contrast.

This scene suddenly brought back memories in Li Susu's heart.

The scene of that night in the hotel more than a year ago came flooding back.

His cheetah-like wildness and explosive power, and his violent offensive made it difficult for her to resist.

The pain, as if she was being torn apart, still scars her to this day.

Bo Junyi keenly caught the hesitation on her face and forcibly suppressed the impulse in his heart.

He said softly, "Come here, I'll help you blow dry your hair."

As he spoke, he leaned over slightly and gently carried her to sit on the sofa.

Amid the hum of the hair dryer, the two of them leaned close to each other, and the atmosphere became increasingly ambiguous.

More than ten minutes later, Bo Junyi turned off the hair dryer and gathered the half-dry hair to her shoulders. When his fingertips brushed across her red earlobes, Li Susu slowly raised her head.

The moment their eyes met, his Adam's apple rolled, and he leaned over and gave her a soft kiss.

She smelled the scent of shower gel and water vapor on his body, and her consciousness gradually became blurred in the entanglement.

When Li Susu opened her eyes again, her back had sunk into the fluffy bedding.

The warm yellow light from the bedside illuminated the man's outline, and the muscles in his arms as he supported her side were tense.

The hot breath fell on the neck, and the delicate kisses were like sparks that set the whole field ablaze, burning away the last trace of rationality.

"Can you turn off the lights?"

"Um."

Moonlight leaked in through the gaps in the gauze curtains, casting a layer of silver frost on Li Susu's rosy cheeks.

She curled up in the quilt, looking at the figure gradually pressing down from above, her fingertips unconsciously clutching the sheets, her voice trembling: "Can you be gentler?"

Bo Junyi's movements hovering above her suddenly stopped, and a hot kiss fell on the tip of her burning nose.

"Um."

The response was like a breeze falling on feathers, with a soothing warmth.

Bo Junyi's knuckles were against her waist. Although he had already slowed down his movements, Li Susu still suddenly tensed up like a frightened deer.

Fine beads of sweat slid down her pale forehead, and her suppressed moans mixed with the intermittent word "pain" pierced his heart like a thorn.

"Be good." His voice trembled as he gently held her in his arms, rubbing his chin against the top of her head and stroking her tense back again and again.

Several attempts did not make her relax.

Bo Junyi felt distressed and kissed her on the cheek, "Go to sleep."

"sorry……"

"Don't say that. I care more about your feelings than my own."

He comforted her gently until the person in his arms began to breathe slowly. Then he carefully pulled out his numb arm and tucked in the corner of the quilt that had slipped off for her.

The sound of water coming from the bathroom was particularly clear in the quiet night.

Li Susu curled up in the still warm bedding, listening to the sound of running water, her eyes gradually becoming hot.

The next day, when Li Susu opened her eyes, the pillow was already cold.

The memory of last night flooded back like the rising tide. She bit her lower lip, and the tips of her ears felt hot.

After washing up, Bo Junyi pushed the door open and walked in.

The well-tailored suit made him look even taller, and his gentle smile was no different from usual: "Susu, pack up and come downstairs for dinner. I'll take you to school later."

She tried to keep her voice calm. "Yeah. I'll be right there."

Aunt Lin prepared a sumptuous breakfast on the table.

Li Susu had no appetite and only took a few bites.

Bo Junyi silently peeled a few shrimps and put them into her bowl: "Eat more! How can you go to class on an empty stomach?"

Seeing him acting as if nothing had happened, Li Susu felt warm in her heart and ate a few more bites.

On the way to school, the two sat in the back seat.

Today is Bo Junyi's first day officially going to work in the company, and Li Susu repeatedly reminds him to get enough rest.

Bo Junyi agreed with a smile, holding her hand and stroking it gently: "You too, don't study too hard. Don't worry about not having a job in the future, you have your husband to support you anyway."

Although Li Susu did not agree with his idea, she still smiled and nodded.

When the car stopped at the school gate, it looked like they were about to be late. Li Susu hurriedly said "see you in the evening" and trotted into the campus.

Bo Junyi looked at her back, and the girl's crying voice last night rang in his ears.

He sighed softly and pinched his eyebrows helplessly.

I subconsciously looked at myself, not understanding what went wrong.

The day Li Susu returned to Jiangnan University, she quickly attracted the attention of her classmates.

During the period of leave, all kinds of outrageous speculations circulated on campus: some said she was seriously ill and hospitalized, and some said she was taking a leave of absence from her studies.

But when she looked at me, her skin had a healthy glow and her figure was as slim as usual, and those rumors were immediately refuted.

When her classmates asked her tentatively, she replied calmly, "Going home to take care of the elderly," and no one pursued the matter any further.

She was so engrossed in taking notes the whole morning that she only realized her stomach was growling with hunger when the bell rang.

My phone vibrated, and a message from Bo Junyi popped up: "Would you like to come to the hotel for dinner? I'll pick you up."
