Tang Yixin's fingers in her pockets trembled slightly.
The woman raised a meaningful smile at the corner of her eyes, and with her dark red nail polished fingers, she smoothed her hair and said lightly, "Why, you don't believe me?"
These three words are wrapped in an ambiguous ending, like a thorny vine.
Tang Yixin is not stupid, so she naturally understands what her sister means.
There have long been rumors in the business circle that Ye Beichen is constantly involved in scandals and is a playboy. All those groundless romantic news now turned into sharp ridicule.
It's nothing more than Ye Beichen being a philanderer, having too many romantic affairs, which eventually led to kidney deficiency and he's not good at that aspect.
Tang Yixin's pent-up anger due to trivial matters was instantly ignited, and a nameless fire burned in her chest.
"Why should I be a widow? I'm not interested in him!"
Tang Yixin raised her eyelids and said coldly.
She glanced at Ye Beichen who had stood beside her without her noticing.
The man's Adam's apple rolled violently, and a hint of sadness flashed across his usually calm eyes.
Tang Yixin didn't have time to think about it, she turned around and left with a cold face.
Ye Beichen's face darkened instantly, and he glanced coldly at the instigator: "What did you say to her just now?"
The woman casually took out a mirror and looked at herself. A provocative smile appeared on the corner of her scarlet lips. "To be honest, you're not good at that."
"Nothing has ever happened between you and me. How do you know?" The veins on Ye Beichen's forehead twitched slightly.
"Because nothing happened." The woman scoffed and tossed the small mirror into her bag. "Just ask anyone who's been dating for two months and hasn't even kissed!"
Ye Beichen was too lazy to talk to her. He lifted up his long legs and strode in the direction Tang Yixin left, quickly disappearing around the corner of the restaurant.
The sunlight cast tiny rays of light on the glass window. Tang Yixin curled up in the corner of the coffee shop, looking at the caller ID that kept flashing on the screen of her mobile phone.
Ye Beichen's name was like a thorn, and every time it flashed, her temples throbbed.
Through the frosted glass, she saw the man pacing up and down the street, looking anxious.
After the last call was hung up, Ye Beichen's figure finally disappeared at the entrance of the alley.
Tang Yixin's fingertips turned white as she gripped the phone. When she forced herself to stand up, she realized her legs had already gone numb from sitting.
The sunlight outside was a little dazzling. She stopped a taxi and looked at the street scene receding outside the window, still feeling upset.
More than ten minutes later, Tang Yixin got off the bus at the school gate.
The familiar figure under the sycamore tree not far away made her breath stop.
Ye Beichen leaned against the black Maybach, the sunlight cast mottled spots on his body, and his hair was slightly messy.
Seeing her get out of the car, he immediately straightened up and strode towards her.
"Xinxin, listen to my explanation. Things are not what you think."
"No matter what it is, I'm not interested." Tang Yixin took a half step back. "You can leave now, Ye Beichen. I'm going to move back to the dormitory. Don't bother me anymore!"
Ye Beichen reached out to grab her wrist, but Tang Yixin used the force to hold his pulse point.
The next second, he was pulled forward and his back fell heavily on the concrete floor, causing him to groan in pain.
Tang Yixin deliberately slowed down her strength when she let go of her hand, and sneered in her heart as she looked at the man frowning and grinning.
With his physique from years of fitness training, this little impact wouldn't have made him so embarrassed.
"You're pretending pretty well." She glanced down at him and turned to walk into the campus.
I heard the rustling sound of someone getting up behind me, and even after turning the corner of the boulevard, I could still feel that burning gaze on my back.
Ye Beichen looked at her receding back, his fingertips unconsciously rubbing his shoulder blade that was hurt from the fall.
It’s really difficult, but he just can’t let go!
In the evening, Ye Beichen was feeling upset and dragged Bo Junyi and Qin Zhao to his bar for a drink.
The dark red light in the bar swayed in the whiskey glass, and Ye Beichen tilted his head back and drank one glass after another.
He soon got drunk and started talking more.
"Tang Yixin despises me for not being a virgin." The spicy smell of whiskey rushed into Ye Beichen's nose, and his knuckles turned white as he pinched the glass. "She despised me for having a girlfriend before. She even suspected I had kidney deficiency."
He ripped his tie off irritably and said aggrievedly, "I've been abstinent for several years, okay?"
Qin Zhao snatched the wine glass from him: "There's nothing I can do. Girls don't say it, but they actually care about this."
He patted Ye Beichen's shoulder and looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "It must be that you are too impatient and your technique is poor. Otherwise, if she is enjoying it, how could she say that you are not good enough?"
Ye Beichen almost spit out a mouthful of blood: "She and I haven't even kissed, how could we have tried that kind of thing?"
Thinking of the scene during the day, his temples throbbed. "It's that blind date from before. To cope with my family's pressure to get married, I pretended to be dating her for a few months. Who knew she'd still be obsessed with me and even go to Tang Yixin to complain about me!"
"You deserve it!" Bo Junyi took a sip of the soda water and asked, "What was that fake relationship all about?"
"Brother, can you have a little compassion?" Ye Beichen loosened his collar, the smell of alcohol mixed with sighs. "By the way, you must tell my sister-in-law to help me say a few good words to Xinxin. Her one word is worth a hundred words from me."
Bo Junyi put down his glass: "Look, I'll try my best to help you."
Before he finished speaking, Qin Zhao's cell phone vibrated on the table.
He raised an eyebrow and looked at his two friends, deliberately showing them his phone screen: "My fiancée is calling."
A smug smile spread across his lips, and he winked at them as he stood up.
Bo Junyi grabbed the pillow on the sofa and threw it at him, but the other party dodged it flexibly: "Go away!"
