Chapter 25: Is Mr. Bo so casual when stamping?

"careful!"

Bo Junyi's low voice exploded in her ears, the world spun before her eyes, and her back slammed into a warm chest.

The wind from the electric car whizzed past her body, lifting a few strands of her hair.

The world seemed to stop at this moment.

Li Susu could clearly feel Bo Junyi's chest rising and falling violently, and his strong arms were tightly wrapped around her waist like an iron hoop.

The unique hormonal scent of a mature man enveloped her, mixed with the faint smell of tobacco, making her ears turn red instantly.

"Are you okay?"

Bo Junyi's voice was a little hoarse, with a tension that had not yet faded.

Only then did Li Susu realize that her hands were tightly grasping the front of her lapel, and the expensive fabric had been wrinkled by her. She hurriedly let go, but he grabbed her wrist.

"Don't move." The burning heat from his palm penetrated my skin. "Just now I almost—"

The voice stopped abruptly.

Li Susu looked up and met his deep eyes, which were filled with emotions she could not understand.

His Adam's apple rolled up and down, and he suddenly raised his hand to brush away the messy hair on her cheek.

"Scared?"

Li Susu asked in a low voice.

In fact, her legs were still shaking, but her ears couldn't help but ring what he said in the breakfast shop, and she subconsciously wanted to break free from his arms.

"Li Susu?"

"Um?"

"The baby was frightened just now and needs my comfort."

"What? How can I comfort her?" Li Susu felt dizzy, but she was unconsciously being led by him.

Bo Junyi didn't answer her immediately. Instead, he hugged her again, resting his chin lightly on the top of her head, "Hold me for a while."

The sunlight shines through the gaps between the leaves of the sycamore trees, casting mottled shadows around them.

The laughter of students could be heard in the distance. Li Susu was afraid of being seen, so she buried her head deeply in his arms.

His hug became stronger.

until--

"Um..." Li Susu poked his chest with a red face, "Mr. Bo, you're crushing the baby."

Bo Junyi's body stiffened, and he immediately let go of his hand, looking nervously at her lower abdomen.

Mr. Bo, who was always calm and composed, seemed a little bewildered at this moment. "Does it hurt?"

Li Susu looked at his panic and suddenly burst out laughing.

The sunlight fell on the corners of her eyes, casting a fine light.

"I'm kidding. There are so many people here, it's not good to be seen." She blinked, and while he was stunned, she quickly broke free from his arms, "Let's go, aren't we going for the prenatal checkup?"

Bo Junyi stood there, watching Li Susu's back as she fled, and rubbed his eyebrows helplessly.

He seemed to fall in love with her too quickly. When he had time, he would ask Ye Beichen out to ask him for advice on how to pursue girls.

Li Susu is a well-behaved, pretty and good-study girl. Even her picky cousin is fascinated by her, let alone other boys.

It was for this reason that he lied to the counselor that Li Susu was his wife and was pregnant. This way, she could not only receive the care she deserved at school, but also to a certain extent cut off unnecessary bad romantic relationships.

The more Bo Junyi thought about it, the more he felt a sense of crisis. When he got into the car, he couldn't help but bring up his cousin again.

"Li Susu, what are your plans regarding my cousin?"

Li Susu was fastening her seat belt with her head down, and her fingertips paused when she heard this.

She looked up at the man beside her and found that his jawline was taut, outlining a sharp arc in the sunlight.

"Before I met you..." She spoke softly, her voice as soft as a feather, "I had already rejected him."

The seat belt clicked shut, and she turned to look Bo Junyi in the eye. "Now that I have a baby, that's even more impossible. Don't worry, Mr. Bo."

The carriage suddenly became quiet, with only the faint sound of the wind outside the window.

Bo Junyi still maintained his grip on the steering wheel, but Li Susu clearly saw his Adam's apple move.

"Don't worry?" He tilted his head to meet her gaze, his voice carrying a hint of danger. "You're pregnant with my child, but you're being dreamed of by another man. How can I be at ease?"

Li Susu's heart skipped a beat. She mechanically reached out and covered the back of his hand with slightly bulging veins, but felt the muscles under her palm tense instantly.

Her thoughts returned in an instant, and she felt as if she was burned by a flame, and quickly withdrew her hand.

But the man was quick-witted and grabbed her fingertips.

"Mr. Bo, I, I didn't mean to—"

"Well, me neither," he said, but his big hand slowly wrapped around hers, "How are you going to comfort me?"

"comfort?"

A trace of innocence and confusion flashed across Li Susu's eyes. "I, I didn't do anything wrong. Besides—"

"Besides what?"

Li Susu wanted to say that he had someone he liked, but she always felt like she was jealous if she said it out loud.

Seeing that she seemed to be hesitant to speak, Bo Junyi sighed helplessly.

"Li Susu," he deliberately dragged out his tone, his fingertips drawing circles on the back of her hand, "Can't you see? I'm jealous."

Li Susu's breathing became a little disordered, but she still managed to ask back, "Jealous? Don't you have someone you like?"

Bo Junyi paused, his eyes suddenly darkening.

He suddenly leaned closer, the crisp scent of cedar enveloping her, his voice dangerously low and hoarse, "What did you say?"

Li Susu shrank back at the sudden pressure from him, her back pressed against the leather seat, her heart pounding so hard it almost burst out of her chest. "You, you said at the breakfast shop that you were pursuing a girl and that you were planning to get married—"
