Chapter 89: Meeting Shen Qingyao at the Hospital

Li Susu's fingertips trembled as she pretended to remain calm.

She lowered her eyes and said in a voice as soft as a mosquito's hum, "Pregnancy has a lot of secretions...use this to prevent staining."

As he said this, he snatched back the sanitary napkin, but the tip of his ear was red as if it was about to bleed.

Bo Junyi narrowed his eyes, and suddenly pinched her burning earlobe with his warm fingertips: "It's not good for you or the baby to always wear this. I'll prepare some more underwear for you when we get back. Just throw away the dirty ones."

Li Susu's heart skipped a beat, and she hurriedly changed the subject: "You know so much, have you ever had a girlfriend before?"

She regretted the words as soon as they came out of her mouth, biting her lip and glancing at the man's reaction.

Bo Junyi chuckled softly, his index finger scraping across her red nose. "You heartless little thing! How can a man eight years your senior not have this little common sense?"

Li Susu quickly argued: "You are not old at all..."

"Really?" He suddenly leaned close to her ear, his hot breath sweeping over her sensitive skin. "That's right, the baby is still so young, I can't age too quickly..."

Li Susu dodged as if she was scalded, and walked towards the bathroom with a smile.

Bo Junyi followed for a few steps, leaning against the pillar. His tall posture and outstanding temperament made the men and women passing by look back frequently.

When Li Susu came out of the bathroom, she saw a group of beautiful women gathered at the corner.

Bo Junyi's cold and pale profile exuded an abstinence under the warm light. Several well-dressed girls, holding their mobile phones, approached him with anticipation.

I could tell at a glance that they were rushing to add WeChat again.

Li Susu clenched her fingers, walked over quickly, squeezed directly into the encirclement, and put her arms around Bo Junyi's thin waist.

"Hubby, let's go."

The sweet voice carries obvious possessiveness.

The girls all looked at Li Susu at the same time, and saw her leaning in the man's arms like a little bird.

The man looked down at her, a doting smile on his lips, and with a long arm he picked her up horizontally, his movements gentle but domineering.

The girls behind him were so shocked that their jaws dropped.

Li Susu was held in his arms and heard a low murmur from above her head: "Are you jealous?"

Li Susu blushed and pretended to be angry, "Have you added them on WeChat?"

"I'll show you my phone later." Bo Junyi smiled.

The bodyguard captain in the driver's seat looked at this scene and his pupils trembled again.

Along the way, he silently endured the dog food spread by the two people and felt that his stomach was almost "full".

When I returned to the apartment, it was just after three in the afternoon.

Li Susu originally wanted to go to the hospital while Bo Junyi was at the company.

But no matter how long she waited, Bo Junyi had no intention of leaving home. In the end, he went to the study to work, and she had to stay in the room to read.

After dinner, Bo Junyi worked until after ten o'clock in the evening. When he passed by Li Susu's bedroom, he found that she was already asleep. He didn't want to disturb her, so he quietly tucked in the corners of her quilt and went to his own bedroom.

The next day, breakfast time.

Li Susu took the initiative to ask the driver to take her to school.

Bo Junyi naturally understood her concerns and agreed readily.

"Thank you, husband." Li Susu smiled with her eyes curved.

Bo Junyi was very pleased to be called "husband". Just as he was about to say something, the girl suddenly peeled a shrimp and handed it to his mouth.

"Hubby, open your mouth—"

Bo Junyi felt itchy when she kept calling him "husband". The moment he bit the shrimp, he deliberately brushed her fingertips with the tip of his tongue.

Li Susu retracted her hand as if struck by an electric current, the tips of her ears turning red: "Bo Junyi!"

In return, he chuckled softly, and swallowed the shrimp with his Adam's apple rolling. "Why don't you call me husband anymore?"

Li Susu stood up: "...I'm full, I'm going to school first."

Having said that, he turned and left, as if he was fleeing in panic.

A black nanny car had been waiting at the foot of the apartment stairs for a long time.

Zhou Ning, with his short, neat hair, stood at attention and saluted: "Hello, Madam. I'm Zhou Ning, and I'll be your private driver from now on. You can use me at any time..."

"Okay." Li Susu smiled awkwardly: "You should just call me Susu!"

Zhou Ning subconsciously looked at Bo Junyi and nodded in agreement after getting his tacit consent.

Bo Junyi watched Li Susu get into the car until the car disappeared at the end of the Wutong tree-lined avenue, then he got into his own car and drove to the company.

The black nanny car stopped at the intersection near the school. Li Susu said hello to Zhou Ning and got out of the car in a hurry.

Watching the car drive away for a distance, she took a deep breath, took out her cell phone and called her counselor to ask for leave.

As always, the counselor approved the leave without hesitation, and even reminded her, "Susu, if you're not feeling well, you can rest for a while."

Li Susu smiled and said "Okay".

The streets were crowded with people, and Li Susu was afraid of meeting acquaintances on the bus, so she hailed a taxi and went to the hospital in the city center.

In the corridor of the hospital's obstetrics and gynecology department, Li Susu held the registration form and looked at the endless queue in front of her. She could only sit on a bench and wait.

At this moment, the door of the clinic was pushed open from the inside, hitting the wall with a dull "bang".

Li Susu, who was looking down at her phone, subconsciously looked up.

A familiar figure came into view.

Shen Qingyao wore a champagne-colored halter dress, the smooth cut of which outlined her waistline almost perfectly.

The pearl headband elegantly binds the long wavy hair, and the teardrop-shaped diamond earrings swaying by the ears sway gently with every step.

But under the brilliance of gorgeous clothes and jewels, her face looked particularly pale.

Foundation can't cover the dark circles under the eyes.

The fingertips gripping the list tightened slightly, and the paper twisted into hideous lines between the fingers, as if to squeeze all the collapse into these wrinkles.
