Chapter 105: Keep Her Safe for the Rest of Her Life

The next morning, Yan Cuo declined his aunt's offer to take him to the station and walked towards the station alone with his suitcase. There were many children playing and laughing along the way. Yan Cuo looked at them and laughed too.

The people in this place are simple and kind-hearted. They don’t have any complicated thoughts. They work diligently all their lives, watching their children grow up and then growing old little by little. That’s their whole life.

Yan Cuo walked along the way. The weather was very good today. The sun was warm on people's bodies. Yan Cuo dragged his cotton jacket in his hand, wore a sweater and jeans, and was a beautiful sight walking on the street.

From time to time, some people would look at Yan Cuo, with some inquiry and surprise in their eyes. Some people who knew her would greet her familiarly, and when they learned that she was going to school, there was some envy and admiration in their eyes.

Yanfen is a well-known high school in the local area. Because of its high teaching quality and high admission score, it is a place that many students yearn for. Yancuo is one of the few students in this small town who was admitted to Yanfen High School. Of course, Suhe is also one of them.

Many people would not have thought that such an ordinary little girl back then has now become so outstanding, so graceful and eye-catching.

Yan Cuo walked along under their gazes and soon arrived at the station. Su He was already waiting there. The two of them got on the bus and quickly went to school.

When they were almost at school, Yan Cuo sent a message to Yu Muyang, but he hadn't replied yet. He didn't know if he was busy. Yan Cuo felt a little disappointed, but because Su He was there, he didn't show it. He just looked a little lonely.

He never breaks his promise and always replies to messages quickly. This time, maybe he was busy and didn't see it in time. He will definitely contact me when he has time.

I shouldn't doubt him. He must have been delayed by something.

When Yan Cuo and Su He returned to the dormitory, they had all arrived and were discussing their newly bought clothes and skin care products. However, Yan Cuo was a little uninterested and often only answered one question after they asked several.

Su He looked at her absent-mindedly and felt a little strange. "What's wrong with you? I saw you were looking at your phone the whole time in the car. You looked like you had lost your soul. What happened?"

Yan Cuo shook his head and said, "Nothing." Then he refused to say anything more.

Seeing that she didn't want to say more, Su He stopped asking and just pulled the other people in the dormitory away, leaving Yan Cuo alone to be quiet.

Yan Cuo is just like that. When she doesn't want to talk, just give her some space to adjust herself. It's useless for others to say more.

Yancuo glanced out the window, took a deep breath, squatted down to pack her luggage, hung up her clothes one by one, and then sorted her schoolbag again. After finishing all this, she glanced at her phone. It had only been half an hour.

His chat page was still quiet, and the message he had sent lay there alone, looking a bit awkward.

Yan Cuo turned off her phone and prepared to go out, but Su He suddenly ran in, grabbed her hand and ran out.

Yan Cuo didn't know what was going on, and he followed her foolishly as she ran downstairs quickly. Looking at Su He's anxious look, he had some answers in his mind, but he didn't ask.

Until he followed her to the school playground and saw the familiar figure standing in front of him. He looked a little disheveled, and his hair was a little messy, not as neat as usual.

His eyes were red as he looked at her, and he looked apologetic, as if he was afraid that she would be angry. He walked up to her and looked at her, "Yanyan, I'm sorry. Something delayed me today. I apologize to you. Please don't be angry, okay?"

Yan Cuo no longer remembered the complicated emotions he had felt before. All he could see was the person in front of him. Seeing him like this, he felt only distressed. "What's wrong with you? Why do you look so miserable?"

He smiled nonchalantly, "Nothing much, there was a little incident on the way here, but it's all resolved. Are you nervous about school starting today?"

Yan Cuo shook his head and looked at the person in front of him with worry, "What happened? Are you hurt? Did those people in your family turn against you?"

She looked at him carefully, turned him around, and was relieved to see no signs of injury. "What happened? Tell me quickly, don't make me worry."

Yu Muyang laughed at the worried look on the girl's face and hugged her comfortingly. "It's nothing, don't worry, it's just some boring tricks played by those people. Don't worry, I'm not as weak as I was six years ago. I won't be manipulated by others now."

Yan Cuo felt relieved after hearing him say that. The boy in front of him has become stronger day by day. He will no longer become the person that makes him feel distressed like he did six years ago.

But I couldn't help but remind him, "Be careful outside. If they still want to deal with you, bring some people with you. Don't get hurt. I can't bear to see you get hurt."

Yu Muyang rubbed her head and agreed softly, "Okay, I'll listen to you. Today is the first day of school, you should be happy. I came to see you. I'm afraid you'll worry, so go back to the classroom early."

Yan Cuo refused to let him go, holding him stubbornly, his voice a little muffled, "I want to hug you again."

Yu Muyang was amused by her appearance and looked at her lovingly, "Okay, then I'll hold you for a while, and then we'll go back to the classroom, okay? I also have to go back to the company."

"good."

They continued to hug each other for a while, Yancuo felt the breath on his body, which was a breath that made her feel at ease, as if as long as he was by her side, there was nothing to fear.

After a while, she finally let him go, sorted out her emotions, and looked at him with some reluctance, "You go back, I have to go back to the classroom."

He nodded, then watched her leave. Looking at the thin figure, which seemed to have lost weight again, he suddenly ran up to her and said, "Yanyan, why have you lost weight? Have you had a poor appetite recently?"

Yan Cuo shook his head. "No, I was just a little stressed out before and always had insomnia. I'm fine now, don't worry."

He looked at her cheeks which had become noticeably thinner. She didn't have much flesh to begin with, but now her face looked even more pointed, which made him feel distressed.

"Be good and eat well at school. Don't be too tired. When you have a day off, I'll take you out for a nice meal, okay?"

The girl nodded obediently, "Okay, then you have to eat well too. Don't work too hard. No matter how busy you are, don't forget to eat."

He looked at her and nodded, "I know, little housekeeper, I'll listen to everything you say."

She felt a little shy and turned around after a long while, "So am I really leaving?"

He looked at her back and said, "Let's go. I'll watch you go before I leave."

Then he watched the figure slowly walk forward until it disappeared from his sight, then he turned and left the school.

Some things must be put on the agenda. Now that Yan Cuo has grown up, he is not strong enough, and it will make her worry about him, which is not what he wants.

He wanted to ensure that she would have a peaceful and stable life.
