Chapter 132: At this age, they love so deeply

Because he usually goes to bed at 11 o'clock at school, and now he can't fall asleep no matter how much he tosses and turns, Yan Cuo simply sits up and prepares to find something to do.

I opened Baidu Encyclopedia and searched for some historical sites of Anhui University. It showed that Anhui University was founded in the last century and has a long history. Its teaching level is among the best in the country and it has produced many outstanding students.

If I could go to such an excellent school, it would be the proudest thing for me. Thinking that the college entrance examination scores have not come out yet, I can't help but feel a little nervous.

I hope that both Su He and I can get what we want, go to our ideal university, and be with the people we love.

Yan Cuo fell asleep unknowingly as she watched. She was woken up by a ringing sound in the middle of the night. She glanced at her phone, but didn't pay attention to who was calling, so she answered it.

Yu Muyang's slightly anxious voice came from the other end, "Yanyan, are you asleep?"

Yan Cuo was half asleep and responded casually, "I fell asleep. Why are you calling so late?"

He felt relieved when he heard her voice. "I was in a meeting and didn't bring my phone with me. I just came back and saw the missed call, so I quickly called it back. Since you are asleep, I'll hang up first. Good night, Yanyan."

Yan Cuo turned over and said in a voice so soft that it was almost inaudible, "Good night, I'm going to sleep." Then he didn't hang up and went back to sleep.

Yu Muyang could hear the shallow breathing sounds from the other end of the phone. Thinking of her sleeping soundly, his heart couldn't help but soften a little.

Good night, Yanyan, I wish you a sweet dream.

When Yan Cuo woke up the next day, the phone still showed that it was busy. She was startled and asked the person on the other end of the phone, "Yu Muyang, are you still there?"

"I'm here." His voice came through the phone, with a bit of magnetism, so pleasant that it made people feel like bathing in the spring breeze, making Yan Cuo a little lost.

Yan Cuo was stunned for a moment, "Why didn't you hang up? It's been a long time. Did you miss a whole night?"

He smiled, "I fell asleep, listening to the sound of your breathing. Yanyan even ground her teeth twice last night, gently, like a little hamster."

Yancuo was a little embarrassed and was about to argue, "You're talking nonsense, I never grind my teeth."

"Maybe I heard it wrong. Maybe you have a hamster at home, and I heard it grinding its teeth in the middle of the night." He joked, his voice full of joy.

Yancuo paused and recalled carefully. It seemed like he had a dream last night. The dream was full of delicious food and he was enjoying it to his heart's content.

Could this be the reason why I grind my teeth?

Yancuo was too embarrassed to say it, so he stammered and tried to cover up his mistake, and changed the subject.

"What are you busy with today?"

"I'm not busy today. Do you want to come see you? I have a surprise for you."

"What surprise?" Yan Cuo was a little confused, but more expectant.

"You'll know when the time comes. I can't tell you now."

Yan Cuo felt a little disappointed. "Okay then. Oh, by the way, my uncle said he wanted to buy me a computer. I guess I'll go see it today."

"It's great. Having a computer makes many things much more convenient. I often have to write papers in college, so having a computer makes things much easier."

Yan Cuo hummed, and suddenly thought of something, "Yu Muyang, I want to be a tutor. Do you have any children around you who need tutoring?"

"Why did you suddenly think of becoming a tutor?" he was puzzled.

"Tuition and living expenses in college are both huge amounts of money. I want to help my family share some of the burden and don't want them to be too tired. Also, I heard that tutoring pays pretty well nowadays, and they charge by the hour." She analyzed carefully, her tone serious and with a hint of yearning.

He sighed, "Yanyan, don't worry about the tuition fees. I'll take care of it. I don't want you to work too hard."

Yan Cuo was not very happy to hear him say this, "I want to rely on my own hands, not on you. I will feel uneasy if I do that."

"What's mine is yours, Yanyan. We didn't need to distinguish between yours and mine before." He pressed his eyebrows. He hadn't slept all night and his head was aching. But when he heard the girl's stubborn words on the other end of the phone, he was even more puzzled.

Seeing that explaining to him was futile, Yan Cuo simply stopped talking, "Yu Muyang, I know you're good to me, but I still want to fight for something on my own to make life easier for my family. I'm an adult now, and it's time for me to see the world, even if it's dark. I don't want to be protected by you all the time."

Yu Muyang had a headache and wanted to say something else, but he only heard the girl say, "My uncle is calling me. I'm going downstairs first. I've already made up my mind. Don't try to persuade me anymore."

Then he hung up the phone.

Yu Muyang looked at the black screen and smiled bitterly. His Yanyan had grown up and wanted to go out on her own and no longer wanted to be protected by him.

He didn't know if this was a good thing, but he felt uncomfortable.

Maybe I was too possessive of her and just wanted her to stay by my side without even asking her whether she agreed or not.

However, this was the first time they parted on bad terms, and it didn't feel good at all.

Yu Muyang felt a splitting headache. He packed up the documents in front of him and drove back to his cabin.

He fell asleep as soon as he touched the bed, his head was dizzy and he did not sleep well.

It was not until the evening that he was awakened by the ringing of the phone. He picked up the phone and saw that it was Yan Cuo calling.

"Yanyan," he spoke, his voice so hoarse that he didn't even realize it.

"What's wrong with you? Why is your throat so hoarse? Do you have a cold?" Yan Cuo immediately realized that something was wrong with him and became worried.

He was somewhat moved by her caring words, and acted like a child to her, "Yanyan, I have a headache."

"Why do you have a headache? Did you catch a cold?"

"I don't know. I still feel so painful after a good sleep, and my whole body feels weak." His voice was weak, and every word he said struck her heart.

"Are you home?"

"Um."

Yan Cuo made up his mind, picked up a bag and ran outside, his aunt calling out behind him, "Where are you going so late at night?"

Yan Cuo didn't turn around, but said hurriedly, "Yu Muyang is sick. I'm going to see him and will be back later."

Zhong Hongmei sighed. She knew that no one else could influence her like this. It was indeed him.

"Then come back early, be careful, and watch the car." She couldn't help but remind him, and looked at her hurried voice with some worry.

"I know."

Yan Cuo's figure disappeared at the entrance of the alley like a gust of wind. In this dark night, it seemed as if he had never appeared.

Zhong Hongmei looked at that place with a sense of melancholy in her heart. She didn't know whether it was good or bad for them to love each other so deeply at this age.
