Chapter 158: Because of her, there is hope

They played with Haohao for a while. Haohao was very happy the whole time, laughing constantly and singing along with what was on TV from time to time. He was too young and could speak very little, but it was very interesting to listen to his babbling.

Yancuo and Suhe clapped their hands for him and gave him a thumbs-up: "Haohao is awesome!"

He smiled shyly, and then kept sticking to Yancuo. Yancuo looked at the time and saw that it was getting late, so he prepared to take him back, otherwise Yu Hui would be worried.

After saying goodbye to Su He and Su Changsheng, Yan Cuo took him away. He chirped all the way like a happy little bird.

"Sister, can I play with you forever?"

"Okay, come find me whenever you miss me." Yan Cuo squatted down patiently and picked him up.

"Mom said that my sister is going to college. What is college? Haohao hasn't started school yet, and Haohao also wants to go with his sister." He asked with his head tilted, with some anticipation.

Yan Cuo looked into his sparkling eyes and answered seriously, "Haohao is still young. When you grow up, you can go to school. I will go to college after the summer vacation. I will come to see you when I have time. You must listen to your mother and grow up obediently."

He didn't quite understand the meaning of the whole string of words, but he understood the meaning of the last sentence. He nodded his head very hard: "Haohao will be obedient. Sister must come to see me often. Haohao likes you."

Yancuo kissed his cheek and said softly, "Okay, sister likes Haohao too. Haohao is the cutest child sister has ever seen."

Haohao danced with joy and kept talking to Yancuo along the way, but in the blink of an eye, they were already home.

Yu Hui was very pleased to see how harmoniously they got along, but as it was getting late, she had to take Haohao back.

Haohao kept making a fuss and refused to leave, his little face flushed red, and he kept holding Yancuo's hand.

Yu Hui went to hold his hand and comforted him softly, "Haohao, it's getting late today. Mommy will take you home first, okay? I'll bring you here next time."

He didn't say anything, but just kept holding Yancuo's hand. Yancuo was reluctant to let him go, but there was nothing he could do. He had to let him go back.

She squatted down to look him in the eye: "Haohao, do you remember what I said before? Haohao, if you are obedient, I will visit you often. We will see each other often in the future. Now, come home with your mother, okay? Otherwise, your family will worry."

Haohao listened to Yancuo's words and slowly calmed down, but his eyes were still fixed on her, refusing to move away. Yu Hui picked him up and comforted him, "Haohao, say goodbye to your sister. Mom will bring you here next time."

Yancuo kept looking at her with a gentle gaze. Haohao waved to her reluctantly, with tears in the corners of his eyes. Yancuo walked forward to wipe them away and touched his head: "Haohao, goodbye."

"Goodbye, sister, remember to come and see me, I will miss you." Haohao was in Yu Hui's arms at this moment, but he still stretched his neck to look at her with a reluctant look.

Yu Hui held him and quickly disappeared at the entrance of the alley. Yan Cuo kept watching until he could no longer see their figures, and then he returned home.

Zhong Hongmei felt relieved when she saw Yan Cuo's reluctant look, and couldn't help asking, "Yan Cuo, do you like this younger brother?"

Yancuo didn't hesitate, "I like him, he's very cute."

"Then do you still blame your mother?"

"So many years have passed, I should have forgotten it long ago, and you've been so good to me. I have everything I need and there's nothing to complain about. But if she still wants me to act like a loving mother and a filial son, I'm sorry, I can't do it." Yan Cuo's voice was calm, and the heart-wrenching feeling of the past was no longer there.

God never treated her badly, but only treated her well in a different way. In the future, she would have her own family and children. All she could do was to ensure that her children would not experience those things and would grow up safely.

Seeing her say this, Zhong Hongmei knew that this child had really grown up and would never cry like before. She had accepted everything and could face it calmly.

If there was one thing that surprised Zhong Hongmei, it was that she could accept the child without any reservations and love him like her own brother.

The joy on her face couldn't be faked; she really liked this child.

This child is young, but he has a broad mind. He doesn't have any unnecessary thoughts and is simple and kind.

After a while, Zhong Hongmei started preparing dinner. Yan Cuo went into the room and tidied up the desk. School was about to start, and she planned to go shopping for some necessities for school with Su He in the next few days.

It is inevitable to feel a little nervous when going to a new place, but this is a place I have been looking forward to for a long time, and it is more about hope and looking forward to the future.

Yancuo spent the following time very fulfilling. Every day, besides practicing piano, she read books. During this summer vacation, she read many extracurricular books, some of which were about finance, and some were famous domestic and foreign classics.

Yancuo wants to enrich himself and make his heart richer, so that he can be a truly spiritually rich person.

Only spiritual richness can make the heart more fulfilled and richer.

Yu Muyang became very busy in the following time because school was about to start, so he had to finish the things on hand and go to school first. The courses in the third year became heavier, and because Yan Cuo would also be on campus, he wanted to see her often.

That place was familiar, but because of that person's arrival, he looked forward to the future life even more.

The day before school started, Yan Cuo and Su He bought school supplies and some clothes, packed their luggage and waited to go to school the next day.

They were both excited and nervous. Everyone in this school was too outstanding, and they didn't know what kind of existence they would have.

Yan Cuo made up his mind to take advantage of the four years in college to learn more skills and enrich himself, instead of just focusing on studying every day like he did in high school.

It is said that university is a small society, and you can also learn more about how to get along with others and prepare for the future.

When the first day of school came, Yan Cuo got up early. Yu Muyang had agreed yesterday to come and pick her up, so she got up early in the morning and checked her luggage again, making sure nothing was left out before going downstairs.

However, around eight o'clock in the morning, Yu Muyang had already arrived and was sitting at the dining table having breakfast with her uncle and aunt. When she saw him coming down, she smiled at her.

"Yanyan, good morning."

"Good morning." Yan Cuo's face was slightly red. It felt strange and surprising to see him so early in the morning.

"Come sit down and have your meal. Yu Muyang has been here early in the morning." Zhong Hongmei asked her to sit down and served her some porridge.

Yan Cuo responded and sat down. He ate a little but couldn't eat anymore. Maybe he was a little nervous, and he kept looking at him from time to time.

Seeing that she was uneasy, Yu Muyang put down his bowl and chopsticks, said a few words to Zhong Hongmei, and took her upstairs.
