Chapter 204: Two people’s names appeared in a household registration book

After Gu Xuran finished cooking, Su He had already fallen asleep on the sofa, with her messy bangs sticking to her forehead, making her look particularly soft.

Gu Xuran kissed her on the forehead. Seeing that her eyes were still closed and her eyelashes trembling, he knew that she was pretending to be asleep.

"If you don't wake up soon, I'm going to kiss you." His voice was gentle, with a hint of teasing.

Su He opened her eyes at once, pushed him away and was about to walk towards the dining table, but she got up too quickly and her body swayed and she was about to fall to the side. Gu Xuran quickly supported her and spoke again with a hint of laughter in his voice.

"Look, you can't even stand steadily. I'll carry you to eat." After saying that, he picked her up without waiting for her to speak. He felt puzzled. She ate a lot, but why was she still so thin? Her bones felt a little tight.

Su He sat at the dining table in embarrassment. Looking at the familiar dishes in front of her, she unexpectedly had no appetite.

She only ate some dishes and hardly touched the rice before she couldn't eat anymore. She stood up and wanted to leave.

Seeing her like this, Gu Xuran was a little worried. "What's wrong? Don't you have an appetite? Or is it that the food I cooked today doesn't taste good?"

Su He looked unhappy, with his head drooped: "No, I just can't eat much. I'm so sleepy, I want to sleep."

Seeing this, Gu Xuran hurriedly helped her to the bed, wiped her cheek, tidied herself up, and then quietly left.

Su He has always had a good appetite, and this situation has never happened before. Gu Xuran was a little anxious, but didn't know where to start.

After thinking for a while, he called Su Changsheng and planned to ask him something.

He was the one who raised Su He since he was a child, so he must know.

The phone rang for a while, but no one answered and it automatically hung up. Gu Xuran called again without giving up, and this time the call went through.

Su Changsheng seemed a little tired, and his voice was not as energetic as usual: "Xiao Gu, what's wrong?"

"Uncle, have you gone to bed? Sorry to bother you, but today Su He suddenly said that he had a poor appetite and couldn't eat. He only ate a little dinner and then said he was sleepy. Now he has gone to bed.

I'm a little worried. Has she had this phenomenon before? Is she sick?"

Su Changsheng felt a little worried when he heard him say this. After thinking for a while, he remembered that Su He had the same experience when he was a child.

"Xiao Gu, she might have a bad stomach. Go buy her some hawthorns to stimulate her appetite. She usually eats a lot of whatever she likes, and her stomach might be upset. You can also buy some yogurt, strawberries, oranges, etc., which can stimulate her appetite."

Su Changsheng remembered that this symptom disappeared soon after his childhood, so it wasn't a big deal. He comforted him, "Xiao Gu, it's okay. Don't worry. Next time she eats, you have to keep an eye on her. Don't eat too much. If her stomach gets upset, she'll definitely protest."

"Okay, thank you uncle, I understand." Gu Xuran said gratefully, and then the two chatted for a while and hung up the phone.

While Su He was asleep, Gu Xuran went to the supermarket and bought her some fruits, yogurt, and the hawthorns that Su Changsheng specifically asked for.

Thinking of her unhappy expression just now, I couldn't help but feel distressed. This silly girl didn't know how to take care of herself at all. She was still the same as before.

After buying what he needed, he returned home. She was still asleep, with her brows slightly furrowed, as if she was in great discomfort.

Gu Xuran smoothed her frown, covered her with a blanket, and went to the kitchen.

After checking online, he found that hawthorn soup seemed to be good for digestion, so he decided to give it a try. He took out the hawthorns, removed the seeds one by one, washed and crushed them, put them in a casserole, and boiled them with brown sugar.

The process was very simple. Gu Xuran was happy after doing all this. She hoped that the soup could make her feel more comfortable and stop frowning.

His girl should be smiling and should not suffer. Even if it is just a little bit, he will feel distressed and cannot bear it.

He thought Su He would sleep until dawn, so he went into the study without worry. However, in the middle of the night, he saw her walking out in pajamas.

Her hair was messy and her eyes were not fully open yet. She looked as if she had just woken up. He walked up to her, stroked her cheek, and asked softly, "What's wrong? Did you have a nightmare?"

"Well, I dreamed that you disappeared, and then I woke up to find that you were really gone." Her expression looked quite aggrieved, as if she was about to cry in the next second.

"I saw you were sleeping soundly, so I didn't disturb you. Are you feeling better now?" He took her hand and led her out.

"I feel better, but I still don't want to eat." Su He's voice was as soft as a kitten.

"I made you some hawthorn soup. Will it help? I heard from my uncle that if you had stomach discomfort before, drinking this would help."

When Su He heard the long-lost name, he looked up and his eyes lit up, as if he was looking forward to it.

"Okay, I haven't had it in years. I kind of miss it."

Then she let him lead her into the kitchen, put her down at the dining table, and then he served her a bowl of hawthorn soup, cooled it, and fed it to her.

Su He obediently drank the whole bowl and licked her lips with satisfaction. He wiped the remaining soup stains from the corners of her mouth and then watched her walk into the bathroom.

Su He stayed inside for a long time. Gu Xuran asked worriedly, "Su He, are you there?"

Her voice came intermittently from inside: "I'm in the bathroom, you go and do your thing."

Gu Xuran laughed, imagining her blushing face at the moment, and then he did not stay any longer and went to the study.

About half an hour later, Su He slowly walked out, looking refreshed, which was completely different from before.

Gu Xuran was processing some documents when he heard familiar footsteps. He looked up and saw her energetic appearance. He couldn't help but smile: "Are you feeling refreshed?"

"Yeah." Su He nodded embarrassedly, then walked out, "Then you go ahead and do your work. I'll go play by myself."

Gu Xuran responded, watched her walk out, closed the door, and dealt with the next task with peace of mind.

He brought a lot of work home, just wanting to spend more time with her. If she was alone in such a big house, it would definitely be empty, boring and lonely.

The two of them have been getting along more and more harmoniously. They both use their utmost patience to tolerate each other's little temper. Gu Xuran takes the initiative to take on the task of cooking, and the aunt takes care of the daily cleaning at home. The two of them will not quarrel over trivial matters such as food, clothing, housing and transportation.

Su He is about to graduate, and Gu Xuran plans to propose marriage to her. He can't wait to take her home and have her name appear on his family's household registration book.

It seems that only in this way can I truly and completely own her.
