Chapter 29 It Will Be Okay

Yu Muyang looked down at her with a smile on his face, "Yanyan, do you want to give me a goodbye kiss?"

Yan Cuo felt a little embarrassed, but didn't want to be shy anymore. Looking at the boy in front of her, she gently stood on tiptoe, kissed his lips lightly, and then left.

Yan Cuo turned around, looking back every few steps. "I'm leaving now. Remember to send me a message when you get home."

Yu Muyang moved his mouth and said "OK". She felt relieved and turned to walk towards home.

Summer vacation is already more than halfway over. Because all those distractions had dampened my spirits, I hadn't been able to carry out many of my summer plans. Now that I know it was all just my imagination, I've let it go completely and continue to battle through the exams.

Su He was very quiet this summer and rarely came to see her. When he occasionally sent her messages, they were all about studying.

The two girls had an unspoken understanding and a common goal. This summer was the perfect time for them to catch up. They heard that many of their classmates had signed up for summer tutoring. Their financial resources were limited, and they didn't want to add to the pressure on their families. After all, the tuition fees were quite high.

They previewed and reviewed on their own, doing one test paper after another. Whenever they truly absorbed the knowledge, they felt very happy.

It seems that just like that, we are one step closer to our goal.

It was an ordinary morning, the sun was scorching, and Yancuo broke out in a sweat as soon as she went out. She kept fanning herself, but still couldn't resist the heat.

She had made an appointment with Su He to go to the bookstore to buy test papers today. She left early and prepared to wait for her at Su He's house.

When she reached the intersection near Su He's house and was about to go in, she was suddenly startled by a quarrel.

"Su He, how old are you? How dare you date me? What did I teach you? You're a student, but you don't study hard. What are you thinking about every day?"

Su He seemed to be crying and sobbing non-stop, but she still couldn't help but defend herself: "Dad, it's really not what you think. We just like each other, but we have never done anything. Now I just want to study hard and get into college."

The middle-aged man was furious, his tone getting worse. "Look at this thing! How could you say such disgusting things when nothing happened? How old are you? Do you think you deserve my teachings? What kind of person have I taught you? You have no self-respect. I'm telling you, break up with him and never see him again."

The girl was so frightened that she forgot to cry and kept shaking her head: "Dad, no, I can't leave him. I will die if I leave him. I beg you, Dad, don't let me leave him."

A crisp slap was heard, and Yan Cuo was so scared that he forgot to breathe and hurriedly ran to Su He's house.

Su He was now slumped on the ground, tears streaming down her face, but she still looked stubborn: "Dad, I have always listened to you since I was a child, but this is not the case. He is the only thing I insist on, and I can't give up."

The middle-aged man raised his hand and wanted to hit him again, but Yan Cuo hurried forward and pulled him away.

"Uncle, stop hitting me. Su He works really hard. You have to believe in her. Gu Xuran is also a very good boy. He studies very well and is excellent." Yan Cuo tried hard to explain, but the expression on the middle-aged man's face did not change at all. He looked at Su He angrily, and then walked out of the house.

Yan Cuo hurried over to help Su He up. Su He's face was expressionless at the moment, and tears kept flowing as if he had no consciousness.

Yan Cuo hugged her and comforted her softly. Su He said nothing at first, but finally, she burst into tears.

The girl who used to laugh freely has now become like this because of a boy. She doesn't even dare to cry freely.

Yan Cuo held her in his arms all the time, and the girl kept sobbing. Her heartbroken look also hurt her.

Is it really that difficult to like someone?

There was a mobile phone with a broken screen on the ground. Yan Cuo picked it up. The screen was almost completely broken, but it was still stubbornly lit.

Although it was so blurry, Yan Cuo could still see the words clearly.

Susu, when I haven’t seen you for a day, I miss you like crazy.

Yan Cuo looked at Su He, who was crying heart-wrenchingly, and hugged her tightly.

"Don't cry, we're going to fix the phone. We're not afraid. It will be fine, it will definitely be fine."
