Chapter 86 I am honored

Yan Cuo and Yu Muyang walked around the area, passing places they had walked countless times before, and felt a little emotional. Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, they had been here for so long.

"Yu Muyang," she called him.

"This year marks the sixth year that we've known each other. There will be many more six years to come. I hope you'll always be by my side."

"Yes, I will always be with you." His voice was soft, but it had a power that touched people's hearts.

"Okay." She looked at the lights and decorations in the distance. It was New Year again, and every household was busy. Occasionally, some people would pass by and greet Yan Cuo, and Yan Cuo would respond one by one.

Some gossipy aunties, looking at the people around Yan Cuo, would deliberately ask her, "Yan Cuo, is this your boyfriend?"

Yancuo said without hesitation, "Yes."

Those aunts immediately became curious and surrounded Yu Muyang, asking him questions. Yu Muyang did not show any impatience and responded to them one by one.

There were people around, all looking at them. Yan Cuo felt a little embarrassed. He said he had something to do and left first, and then he pulled him out.

After walking through the crowd, Yan Cuo looked at Yu Muyang's face thoughtfully. Yu Muyang looked at her puzzledly, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

Yan Cuo shook his head, pinched his cheek, and said seriously, "Yu Muyang, wear a hat when you go out next time."

"Why?"

"You're so pretty. I'm afraid other girls will take notice of you as soon as you go out."

He laughed a little, "What did those aunties say to you just now?"

Yan Cuo looked at him seriously, "They said you are so beautiful. If you didn't have a girlfriend, they would want to introduce their daughters to you."

Yu Muyang chuckled, "Are you jealous, little fool?"

"I didn't. I was just wondering if I should hide you so that only I could see you."

After saying that, he was still thinking to himself, "I really wish I had a Doraemon's treasure bag that could shrink you and hide you so that others can't see you."

He lowered his head to look at her somewhat infuriated face and pinched it. "I've been labeled as yours for a long time. Others don't dare to covet me, but you are the one who makes me uneasy. And there's Xu Lin watching you closely, and I'm worried every day."

After he said that, she suddenly remembered the boy and was a little absent-minded, not knowing what she was thinking about. Yu Muyang pretended to be angry, "Yanyan, if you think about other men in front of me, I will be angry."

Yan Cuo glared at him and said, "I wasn't thinking about him. I was just thinking about what Xu Xiaoxiao said before about pursuing Xu Lin. I don't know if there has been any progress."

"It seems like you're happy to see this happen?" Yu Muyang couldn't help but laugh at the worried look on the man's face. "It seems that falling in love with you isn't necessarily a good thing. If you don't like me, it would be pretty miserable."

"My heart is very small, only enough for one person to live in it." Yan Cuo said softly, then looked at him.

"I'm honored, Yanyan." He also looked at her with deep affection.

The two continued chatting for a while, then walked forward. Yan Cuo suddenly remembered that he came back alone, "You came back alone for the New Year, will your parents come back?"

"They probably don't have time, as they are abroad all this time."

Yan Cuo said "Oh" and looked at him with deliberate sympathy, "Then you are really pitiful, spending the New Year alone, lonely and desolate."

"Then will you come and accompany me?" He looked at her expectantly, his eyes sparkling like the sun, moon and stars, making her want to blurt out a yes. She calmed herself down, not looking into his eyes, and cleared her throat. "I need to think about it. I still have to ask my uncle and aunt. I'll get back to you then."

"Okay, then I'll wait for your reply."

Yan Cuo hummed a low "hmm" and the two of them walked around the place. Yan Cuo looked ahead in the direction of his home and asked, "Your home is up ahead. Do you want to go back and take a look first?"

Yu Muyang nodded, "Okay, then you come with me."

Yan Cuo smiled helplessly and followed him back.

Because no one had lived in the house for a long time, a thick layer of dust had covered the house. Yan Cuo went to find a rag and some water and started wiping it. Yu Muyang was responsible for sweeping and mopping the floor. The two of them worked together and the whole house was soon as clean as new.

Yan Cuo had collapsed on the sofa, motionless, staring at the busy figure in the distance, "Are you tired? Take a rest first."

He responded, but did not stop what he was doing. After a while, when he had packed up everything, he went over and sat down next to her.

"Thank you for your hard work. I asked you to clean up after me."

"What's the big deal? You work harder than me."

He thought for a moment and said, "I think we should hire a nanny for our own home in the future. Otherwise, it would be too tiring to clean the house every day."

Yan Cuo was a little resistant. "I don't really like other people in my house. It makes me uncomfortable. Besides, making my own little home warm and comfortable is also a kind of fun, don't you think?"

Yu Muyang glanced at her, a little shocked, "I've heard someone else say the same thing."

"Who is it?"

"My mother doesn't like having other people at home, so she never hires a maid. She takes care of everything herself, and at most she hires a part-time cleaner."

"That auntie has worked very hard." Yan Cuo said, and couldn't help but admire this woman. Although she looked strong, she was kind-hearted and very capable. She was a real strong woman.

"I also want to learn from your mother and strive to be a strong woman and hold up the world by myself."

Yu Muyang shook his head and looked at her with a funny look.

"You can hold up the sky, so what do you want me to do?"

Yan Cuo thought about it seriously and looked at him, "You just need to be responsible for washing hands and cooking at home and wait for me to come back."

He couldn't help but laugh, "It seems Yanyan is quite ambitious and wants to support me."

Yan Cuo blushed and glared at him deliberately, "Why, no way?"

He held up his hands in surrender, "Okay, okay, I'm happy to be the man behind you."

"However," he changed the subject, his expression becoming somewhat serious, "I still don't want you to be too tired. Just do something you enjoy. I can take care of everything else. You don't have to study finance. You can choose a major you like, finish college peacefully, do a job you enjoy, and live an ordinary life. There's nothing wrong with that."

Yan Cuo looked at him and listened to his advice for her future without any ripples in her heart. She just looked at him quietly for a long time before she spoke.

"But, from the day I met you, my life was destined to be extraordinary. Our meeting was grand and passionate, and the life ahead will not be dull. And I am willing to accompany you and experience the rest of life together."
