Tang Yue was still lost in her own thoughts when she suddenly heard Chang Yin's question. Her instinctive answer was, "No!"
Chang Yin stared at the exquisitely beautiful little girl in front of him. Everyone says that children grow up quickly, and this little girl's height has hardly changed since the first time he met her, although her face is a bit rounder now.
Chang Yin found it hard to believe that a four-year-old child could repair a cutting machine and improve its precision in such a short time. But the facts forced him to believe it.
Tang Yue had come to her senses, and she stared intently at Chang Yin. "Uncle Chang, you saw it just now. I was just touching and tapping, I didn't touch anything else."
I have no idea what that machine is.
Tang Yue felt she had made herself very clear, and Chang Yin should understand what she meant, right?
She didn't want too much attention right now. Her grandfather and mother had already found jobs, and with the money from selling herbal formulas, they could live comfortably. After that, she would just focus on guiding her family in their cultivation.
Chang Yin looked at Tang Yue for a few more seconds before standing up.
"You rest here for a bit, I'm going out to take care of something."
Tang Yue watched Chang Yin hurry away, pursed her lips, and said nothing.
However, the things she had just thought of can now be put into practice.
She watched Erluo drilling screws into the box wall. Each time an screw went in, Erluo would use the larger end of a pin to tap it, the two working together quite well. However, the larger end wasn't used that way.
It seems that the two Luos really need tools to smash things.
A sudden inspiration struck Tang Yue: a set of tools is essential for repairing things.
Tang Yue wasn't in a hurry; she first sketched out a small hammer in her mind. To conserve her mental energy, Tang Yue kept the sketches small so she could fill them in quickly.
When Big Head Pin and Erlu saw their master making something again, the two of them flew over together. Only after they saw that the hammer was different from the two others did they go back to their work.
Tang Yue...
What? Can't she make the same one? Thinking this, Tang Yue decided to try making a similar pin after she finished drawing the hammer.
Tang Yue had already sketched twice, and this time she was very fast. However, Tang Yue felt that these little things seemed to have their own will, and she didn't want her head to be filled with a jumble of things every day, making her brain feel like mush.
Following her own design, she added some other tool functions to the hammer. For example, she split the hammer in half, one half becoming a wrench, thus saving the need for a separate wrench. She made the other half into a pair of large pliers, and the two together made a small hammer.
Anyway, once these things are formed, they can freely change size on their own, so she doesn't need to worry about them.
This project was a bit complicated, so Tang Yue spent a lot of time and energy on the design. While Er Luo was using his mental energy to condense screws, Tang Yue's mental energy was never sufficient.
After Tang Yue finished sketching and filled the wrench more than halfway, she stopped. The reason was simple: she didn't have much mental energy left, and she was also afraid that if she finished filling the wrench, the thing would run away on its own, and the two things wouldn't be able to fit together later, which would cause her trouble in the end.
Tang Yue felt very tired at this moment, so she lay down on the bed and started to sleep, completely ignoring the wailing and howling of the people in the research office.
Chang Yin left the research base, carefully taking many detours, and finally returned to the army.
He felt this matter was too important, so he went directly to his superior, Wei Qing.
Wei Qing was Chang Yin's direct superior, holding the rank of regimental commander, and lived in the family compound.
It was lunchtime, so Wei Qing went home to the family compound for lunch, while Chang Yin went directly to the family compound.
Jiang Mian opened the door and saw Chang Yin. She smiled and invited Chang Yin into the house.
"Xiao Chang is here. Come in quickly. Have you eaten yet? If not, you can eat at home."
"Sister-in-law, don't bother, I need to talk to the regimental commander about something."
Wei Qing had just returned a few minutes ago, and had just come out of the inner room after washing his hands when he heard Chang Yin coming over, and his expression became more serious.
"What's wrong?"
Chang Yin looked at Wei Qing and said, "Regimental Commander, come with me to the Division Commander's office."
Seeing Chang Yin's expression, Wei Qing didn't ask anything, grabbed the clothes hanging on the rack, and said, "Let's go!"
Jiang Mian had just brought out the last dish when she said, "Hey, you're leaving without eating?"
"Okay, you eat first. I'm not coming back."
Jiang Mian watched the two figures disappear from view before placing the dishes on the table and letting out a helpless sigh.
The two arrived at Commander Kang's office in silence. Commander Kang was about to take out his lunchbox to eat when he saw Chang Yin return, and immediately put down his lunchbox.
"What's wrong? Didn't you say it was getting better? Has it gotten worse again?"
Commander Kang couldn't think of anything else that would make Chang Yin come out of there in person to report to him, and he even summoned his regimental commander.
Seeing that Commander Kang was so anxious, Chang Yin quickly explained, "No, Shao Yan's condition has stabilized. The little girl went in to treat him again this morning, and he was still unconscious when I came out."
It would probably be better.
Commander Kang let out a heavy sigh. He glared at Chang Yin, annoyed. "Why did you run out if no one's hurt?"
Chang Yin stepped forward, unsure of what to say; this was too shocking.
"Reporting to the commander, I suspect that Tang Yue not only knows medicine, but also how to repair machines."
"What?"
"ah?"
Commander Kang and Wei Qing looked at Chang Yin in disbelief. Was this guy talking nonsense?
