The atmosphere in the room, which had just begun to ease, suddenly became tense again.
Lin Cuicui had actually been feeling uneasy. However, she forced herself to keep busy and tried to ignore it.
She knew her youngest daughter's health better than anyone. The fact that she could leap from the haystack and land on the courtyard wall was unbelievable. She had been ill for four years and had barely left the house.
Even children who grew up like three little boys couldn't do that.
But this was clearly her daughter. Nothing about her had changed. She dared not imagine if some evil spirit had possessed her daughter. After all, in their area, although people didn't say it aloud anymore, they still held her in high esteem.
But if it were really something bad, why would she be so kind to them? The very thing she was trying so hard to ignore was brought up by Tang Yue.
Tang Bei also had his doubts. He didn't have as many thoughts as his mother, but he also felt that something was off about his sister, though he couldn't quite put his finger on it.
Tang Yue's eyes didn't miss the expressions on the faces of anyone in the family. Everyone was sitting together. Tang Yue blinked her large, somewhat abrupt eyes as she looked at Lin Cuicui.
"Mom, do you remember a few days ago when Uncle put me in a coffin and carried me out to be buried?"
At the mention of this, Lin Cuicui's breathing became heavier. Tang Yue quickly reached out to help Lin Cuicui catch her breath.
"Mom, don't be angry. I brought this up because it's related to what happened today."
"When my uncle put me in that small box, I was terrified. I felt it was getting harder and harder to breathe, and I almost couldn't breathe at all."
I struggled to open my eyelids, but I was so sleepy. I don't know when, but I just drifted off to sleep.
In my dream, I met a deity.
Lin Cuicui was already in tears, and Tang Bei and the others were also very angry.
However, upon hearing about immortals, Tang Nan became somewhat excited. He asked with great interest, "Sister, is it an old man with a white beard? The kind with all white hair? And a long beard?"
He even gestured as he spoke.
Tang Yue could tell from Tang Nan's expression that he was imagining things. However, Tang Yue still shook her head.
"No, second brother, the deity I saw didn't have white hair or a white beard. He looked quite young, with black hair, and was very handsome. He taught me a lot."
Tang Nan then asked, "So what did you teach your little sister? Tell me quickly, little sister."
"Quite a lot."
Tang Yue counted on her yellowed little fingers. "How do I sense the surrounding spiritual energy and guide it into my body?"
The deity said that as long as I master this skill, my body will gradually become stronger and stronger.
Ever since my mother brought me back from the mountain, I have practiced according to the methods given by that immortal master, whenever I have time, day or night.
At first, I felt that many parts of my body were blocked and couldn't flow through.
After practicing for a few days and sensing the presence of spiritual energy, I tried to absorb it. Then I slowly drew the spiritual energy into my body and used it to nourish those blocked areas little by little.
Gradually, those blocked areas became clear.
Two days ago at the hospital, I had all the blockages in my body cleared up. Afterwards, I found that I felt much lighter and had more energy. My family members all took a deep breath when they heard this.
Lin Cuicui couldn't help but grab Tang Yue's small hand. Her other hand was still squeezing Tang Yue's body.
Tang Nan wasn't finished listening and continued to ask, "Then, little sister, what else did the immortal teach you?"
"Understanding herbs."
The immortal told me that the herbs he taught me about were divine herbs, with incredibly potent medicinal properties. There were many others, but I had no idea what they were used for, and I couldn't explain their uses.
I think I'll figure it out as I encounter it more often.
No one in the family suspected him.
Tang Shengkai and Lin Cuicui exchanged a glance. Could this be their daughter's stroke of luck? Their daughter's health was so poor, and she suddenly recovered. If she hadn't encountered some kind of divine magic, she really wouldn't have recovered to this extent.
Lin Cuicui could hardly believe her ears. She stared at her little daughter and asked, "Yueyue, are you really alright? How far can you fly?"
Tang Yue knew immediately that Lin Cuicui had seen her jumping over the woodpile earlier that day.
Tang Yue looked at Lin Cuicui with her big eyes and smiled gently.
She used to be so thin that her face was all bone with hardly any flesh. No one noticed that she actually had two deep dimples on either side of her mouth.
I've been eating more these past few days, and my body seems to be nourished by spiritual energy, which has changed my mental state. I'm gradually becoming more muscular.
That smile revealed her dimples.
"Mom, I'm really all better now. But my cultivation is still a bit shallow, so I can't fly very high or very far. But if I cultivate even better in the future, I'm sure I can fly much farther."
Lin Cuicui swallowed hard. The woodpile was at least five or six meters from the courtyard wall. Wasn't that far? If it were her, she wouldn't be able to jump over even a meter, would she?
At this moment, Tang Nan was the most excited, while the others remained silent.
However, Tang Yue felt that everyone seemed to have accepted the fact she had stated. Tang Yue was somewhat skeptical; had her family accepted it so easily?
Shouldn't they have questions? After all, the difference between her now and the original owner should be enormous, right?
"Mom and Dad, brothers, is there anything you want to ask?"
Tang Shengkai reached out and hugged his daughter, gently rubbing her head. "Silly girl. You shouldn't have told your family about something like this. Don't tell anyone again, okay?"
