After a touching interaction with Director Niu, Chef Dong's eyes revealed a resolute and sinister glint as he gripped the gun Director Niu offered, as if he wanted to unleash all his anger and hatred. Of course, only he knew what he was truly thinking.
He took a deep breath and strode out of the state-run restaurant, looking like a hungry wolf, eager to avenge himself on Chang Yin and the others.
As he walked briskly, he gripped his gun tightly, a ruthless glint in his eyes, muttering, "These Chinese soldiers who came out of nowhere dare to ruin my plans! I'll make them pay!"
At this moment, Chef Dong was filled with impulsiveness and anger, but he had not completely lost his mind. He wanted to eliminate Chang Yin and the others as soon as possible to avoid any unforeseen complications.
There were now many people lying on the street outside the state-run restaurant, and of course, many handguns were scattered on the ground. Chef Dong walked forward, bending down to pick up the guns, while keeping his eyes constantly on the high wall in the distance.
Chang Yin sensed killing intent and instinctively felt that this person was not simple. Before Chang Yin even saw the person, his mind had already activated the highest emergency alert.
Chef Dong must have received rigorous training; his walking steps are very methodical, and each movement prevents the other party from accurately pinpointing his footing.
Therefore, Wang Ming and his group failed to hit their target several times.
"Pah! Battalion Commander, this idea is a bit tricky, we can't hit it." Wang Ming reported to Chang Yin while spitting out the dust kicked up by Chef Dong's gun.
Chang Yin's eyes were deep and unfathomable. He had fired a shot, a shot that should have been a foregone conclusion, but he missed. Normally, he would have found it challenging and wanted to exchange more blows with this person, but at this moment, Chang Yin only wanted to resolve the matter quickly.
Sun Jinan exclaimed in alarm, "Battalion Commander, the man has disappeared!"
In the blink of an eye, Chef Dong's chubby figure vanished. This was too strange. Where did he go?
"Be vigilant! Watch out from all directions!" Chang Yin dared not let his guard down for a moment.
Not far from the state-run restaurant, Tang Yue returned just in time to see Chef Dong hiding around a corner, holding a gun with a sinister expression, pointing it at Wang Ming's head.
Chef Dong's eyes were filled with murderous intent, and a smug smile played on his lips, as if this shot would be absolutely foolproof. As he fired, he muttered under his breath, "You people all have to die!"
As he spoke, he pulled the trigger, and the bullet flew towards Wang Ming's head like an arrow shot from a bow.
Wang Ming and the others were searching for Chef Dong when the gunshot pointed them in the right direction. But when Wang Ming turned around, he saw the trajectory of the bullet, which was heading straight for his head.
The speed was too fast. Wang Ming seemed to have lost his ability to think and didn't know how to dodge. The others saw this dangerous moment, but they were all several meters away from Wang Ming, and even at their fastest speed, they couldn't catch up.
But Chang Yin and Zhang Dabing still moved. They rushed towards Wang Ming at a speed beyond their limits, but it was useless; they couldn't catch up at all.
Wang Ming stared wide-eyed at the bullet hurtling closer and closer, his body seemingly frozen in place. He never imagined he, Wang Ming, would die like this. Thoughts raced through his mind.
Tang Yue was startled by what she saw and rushed forward, firing two shots at the bullets that Chef Dong had fired. Just as Chef Dong's bullet was about to hit Wang Ming's head, two more bullets suddenly shot from the left front. One of them hit Chef Dong's bullet, and the two bullets then went in different directions and entered the wall.
At the same time, another bullet narrowly missed Wang Ming's nose, failing to injure him but still delivering a tremendous impact. Tang Yue thus intervened at the last second, saving Wang Ming's head.
Wang Ming reacted instantly and turned around to see that it was Company Commander Tang who had returned and saved his life at a crucial moment.
Chef Dong was even angrier when he saw that Tang Yue had ruined his plans. He turned around, glared at Tang Yue, pointed his gun directly at her, and fired, cursing, "You brat, how dare you ruin my plans! None of you will leave here alive today!"
Undeterred, Tang Yue swiftly changed direction and fired at Chef Dong, shouting, "Stop! Don't resist anymore! Do you think you can escape like this?"
To Tang Yue's surprise, Chef Dong dodged her bullet. Although it grazed his wrist, it didn't affect his movements at all. Tang Yue was astonished; this man was quite skilled.
Just then, a series of hurried footsteps approached from afar, and a group of well-trained people were seen rushing towards them. These people carried various sophisticated weapons, and their eyes revealed a cold aura; they were clearly coming for Tang Yue and her companions.
Seeing this, Chef Dong revealed a smug smile. He said to Tang Yue, "See? These are all my men. Today, you will all die!"
Tang Yue looked at the group of people without any surprise. Sure enough, they were all spies; she hadn't been wrong. However, knowing she couldn't reveal too much, these people would still be quite a challenge for Chang Yin and his team.
So she took a deep breath and shouted to those around her, "Everyone, prepare for battle! These are all spies!"
Before the group could react, they had already opened fire.
The battle began, and Chef Dong once again fired first. His marksmanship was rhythmic, and every shot hit its target accurately. However, Chang Yin and his group were no pushovers either, using the walls for cover to escape each time.
