Tang Yue didn't care at all what Yusuke Miyazaki was thinking, nor did she consider how chaotic the third branch of the family would become.
Hirayama Aokawa didn't get much valuable information from Miyazaki Rin's house, and was filled with resentment and doubt. The clan head had long been dissatisfied with the three clan heads sharing one branch, and this was a perfect opportunity, but he really didn't find anything special there.
The person sent to investigate what had happened to the third branch of the family these past two days hadn't returned yet, so it seemed best to send the message back first. He hurried along, his brow furrowed, pondering how to explain things to Miyazaki Kaze.
Tang Yue remained hidden in the shadows, observing everything unfold. After collecting everything that interested her from Miyazaki Rin's house, she casually stored away anything usable in her spatial storage, things that the people of Daobei Village could all use.
After that, she quietly followed Hirayama Aokawa.
Throughout the journey, she concealed her presence, taking each step with extreme lightness and without making a sound. Tang Yue was quite puzzled by the unusually thin spiritual energy in Japan.
On the way there, the spiritual energy felt incredibly abundant, especially in the small secret realm where she obtained the spatial materials—it was practically a paradise for cultivators. However, the closer she got to the coast of Japan, the thinner the spiritual energy became. Tang Yue disliked this place very much.
The fight with Miyazaki Rin had used up a lot of her spiritual energy, so she needed to conserve it. Therefore, she planned to learn more about ordinary people. However, she wouldn't be able to afford to worry about that when necessary.
She hoped she wouldn't encounter anyone with Miyazaki Rin's strength again. To be honest, if Tang Yue hadn't possessed cultivation, an ordinary person would have had a very difficult time escaping if they met Miyazaki Rin.
The streets were not as quiet as usual at night. Some people were peeking out from their doors, seemingly startled by the gunshots that night. But no matter how many people were watching Ping Shan Qingchuan's actions, no one noticed Tang Yue's presence.
Tang Yue followed Hirayama Aokawa to a more magnificent mansion, the home of Miyazaki Kaze, the head of the Miyazaki family. Tang Yue's consciousness had previously wandered through this mansion, but hadn't examined it closely.
The mansion's gates were tightly shut, with a guard on each side. They stood tall and alert, their eyes scanning the surroundings warily, the weapons in their hands gleaming coldly in the moonlight.
Tang Yue didn't care at all and followed Ping Shan Qingchuan's footsteps, quietly sneaking into the mansion together.
Upon entering the mansion, Tang Yue discovered a deep courtyard with pavilions and terraces arranged in a charmingly intricate way. However, at this moment, she had no time to appreciate the scenery; instead, she was completely focused on finding the location of Miyazaki Feng.
Hirayama Aokawa was heading in that direction as well. He stopped in front of a main house. She could sense a powerful aura emanating from inside; that must be Miyazaki Kaze.
Tang Yue took a deep breath, composed herself, and then followed Hirayama Aokawa into the house. Neither of them noticed the presence of a tiny figure besides themselves.
Inside the room, Miyazaki Kaze sat at an antique desk, while Tang Yue sat down in a chair to the side. Miyazaki Kaze frowned, holding the piece of fabric that Hirayama Aokawa had just brought back, examining it carefully.
At that moment, Tang Yue noticed that in the shadows behind him, several serious-looking subordinates stood silently like statues.
Suddenly, Miyazaki Kaze seemed to sense something, abruptly raising his head and shooting his gaze in Tang Yue's direction. Tang Yue was startled; this old man was quite perceptive. However, she didn't think Miyazaki Kaze could see her.
As expected, Miyazaki Kaze merely frowned, then looked down at the fabric in his hand again. Hirayama Aokawa and the sculptures behind him glanced at Tang Yue's position before returning to their original positions.
"You're saying this is the only different thing you found in the house?"
"Yes! When I picked up this piece of cloth, both Master Yusuke and Saburo Hirayama were very nervous."
Miyazaki Kaze couldn't discern anything unusual about the fabric; it seemed to be just ordinary clothing sold in a department store. He handed the fabric to Hirayama Aokawa, saying, "Send someone to the department store to check if anyone has recently bought clothing like this."
"Yes." Hirayama Aokawa took it but did not leave.
Miyazaki Kaze showed no sign of letting him leave. "Has anything unusual happened with the third branch of the family lately?"
Hirayama Aokawa hasn't really noticed anything happening over there recently, but the people who went out to investigate haven't returned yet, so he can't say for sure.
"I've already sent people to investigate, and there's nothing unusual at the mine."
"Speaking of which, you should inform everyone to suspend operations at the mines and underground facilities for now. We'll discuss it again once things have calmed down."
Hirayama Aokawa frowned, feeling that his master was being overly cautious. "Master, is it really that serious?"
Miyazaki Kaze glanced up at him, and Hirayama Aokawa immediately lowered his head, "Yes!"
"Keep investigating. The third brother has been restless lately; who knows what trouble he might cause. We must find out everything."
Hirayama Aokawa agreed. Miyazaki Kaze casually waved his hand, and Hirayama Aokawa withdrew.
Miyazaki Kaze didn't turn around, but simply said, "Everyone, step back."
The group of people expressionlessly slipped away. Tang Yue watched them leave with interest. Quite the show-offs! But their technique was still lacking. If it were her, she would genuinely disappear on the spot.
Tang Yue appeared directly, her tone somewhat playful, "I didn't expect you to find me."
Just as they left, the group of people who were actually hiding in the shadows were startled by this sudden turn of events. They all drew their weapons and tried to surround Tang Yue.
